After 3 years, I'm back. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. So when my…read morepanic and anxiety attacks conveniently began to tag team, I found myself back to the beginning. The universe knew exactly what it was doing sending me back to the starting line. I've lost my way again. I indeed forgot how to calm my mind and body. It was a humbling way for the universe to tell me I am not meditating nor relaxing correctly. That's where Jessika comes in. She is the absolute best and is truly amazing at holding a safe space for you to achieve complete and total relaxation. She offers virtual appointments and thankfully she had availability within a few days. My experience during a session is walking in with a million thoughts racing through my head while my body can't sit down and walking out relaxed, peaceful, and focused. What a difference. I must admit how naive I was to think that reiki should not be a consistent part of my healing journey. Talking with Jessika, she made an interesting point that while reiki can help after one session its benefits can go beyond by being more consistent. I do agree because if one session can bring peace to my life imagine what monthly sessions could do for my health and healing. My goal is to be more consistent in reiki healings this year so that I can be the best version of myself. I can't wait to book my next session and continue to work on healing. So if you are on the fence, do it. Book the appointment and get started on your healing journey.

This place saved my life…read more I found 8th Chakra Studio while searching to try out Kambo after getting COVID in the fall of 2020. I was in that isolated funky haze, extremely depressed and didn't know where to turn. To be honest, it probably took me over 3 months from me first reaching out about a Kambo session until I built up the courage to try Kambo. I'm so happy I made the decision to try Viva Kambo over all the others - you can tell Devajeet (the owner) is very comfortable working with this medicine and is passionate about honoring this ancient medicine in a safe and sacred space. I decided to try a private ceremony the first time, so that I could ask him as many questions as I wanted and so that I could experience this new, unknown thing away from strangers. I'll tell you now...Kambo is not fun. It is one of the most unpleasant things I've ever done in my life, but no place of change comes from a place of comfort, right? However, the way I felt after was incredible. I felt beat up, but I felt a hope I hadn't felt in a long time. The next day I went on a walk and it felt like a dark weight lifted off my shoulders. I was hooked. I came back the next week for a Saturday group ceremony, and ended up doing 6 ceremonies in total within 2 months. The power of the group setting is remarkable. Everyone setting their intention together helps me bring in healing in areas I wasn't thinking about at the time, but know I needed when it was mentioned. Working with Viva Kambo has introduced me to other medicines like Hape and Sananga eye drops. These are powerful tools I have implemented in my regular routine. One of the greatest things I was introduced to though was Kundalini Yoga. They have classes on Thursdays & Sundays and they are next level. My favorite thing about 8th Chakra Studio though are their sound baths. Holy moly! I never knew what I was missing. They only happen every once in a while, but I try to make every one I can. It's like a massage of sound vibrations that sends you on a trancendental journey through sacred rhythms and grooves. So freaking epic. Definitely check this place out.

The teacher was great and she had some items to sell after class that she sells at the farmers market. I wish they would have told us about the wellness center service or have a class discount but it was not brought up once. Overall, I recommend the sourdough classes!

I don't like being told one thing and then another is true. This place is super cute, clean, and the staff is friendly. The services offered are very nice. However, I just don't like feeling miscommunicated with about pricing. I think that can be improved on. Otherwise it's a nice place to go for a great lymphatic massage. The owner reached out to me, offering me a deal on a future service if I should want it. I appreciate the reply and response. Very kind owner and business. The space feels so warm and welcoming the moment you walk in, and I love that the yoga classes are heated, it just adds to the whole experience. The staff was very friendly when I checked in, which always makes a difference, especially when it's your first time somewhere. A quick heads up: The studio is a little hard to find at first. It's located inside a business complex in a suite (not a standalone storefront). I parked in the lot across from Mud Hen Clay & Art Studio and found the stairs there that lead up to the studio. I'd recommend arriving a bit early so you have time to find parking and get settled. Also, the restroom is a shared community bathroom with the other suites in the complex, so just keep that in mind. I took a Hatha/Vinyasa class with Kimberly on a Saturday morning and it was great. The flow felt balanced and grounding. This was my first time here and my first impression was such a good one. I'd love to come back.

Kyle is a gifted teacher who combines deep knowledge with patience and genuine kindness. One of my favorite parts of the session was learning about the beautiful German planetary gongs and experiencing the unique sound and energy of each one. The lesson felt both educational and immersive, giving me a new appreciation for the art and science of Sound Healing. I brought my own sinking bowls, which I had never played. Kyle showed me how to identify their notes, play them effectively on their own and together, and understand how different sounds can complement one another. He also introduced me to various gong, mallets and techniques, explaining how posture, placement, and striking methods affect the sound. What stood out to me most was Kyle's ability to meet me where I was and create a supportive learning environment. I love feeling empowered, inspired, and excited to continue practicing what I learned. I can't wait for our next session, level two! I highly recommend a private session with Kyle for anyone curious about Sound Healing, singing bowls, or gongs. It was a wonderful investment in both learning and personal growth.

However, during the first half of the session, there was a helicopter and a drone hovering nearby, which made it a little difficult to fully focus and relax. I really can't really complain since it was an outdoor setting and some outside noise is to be expected so just a heads up if you plan to have an experience with background noise. Lastly, the headphones were not the same experience compared to listening to the sound frequency with the naked ear. Overall, thank you for the experience, it wasn't too bad!
