Definitely a 5 star rating for me Firstly because Stev advised me to hold off on getting my first wax ever right before a Photoshoot I had. He could've just brought me in for the business, but he advised me that since it's my first time there may or may not be some irritation which wouldn't come out well on pics. So I'm a bit concerned. I called and made an appointment for services almost 2 months in advance of my first bodybuilding competition. I know it's early, but I'm starting a new job and I'm a planner. Nonetheless, I called, spoke to Stev and got an appointment on the books. I was told that the cost of the services needed to be charged upfront in order to hold the reservation. While that seemed odd, I was willing to play ball. Unfortunately I could not find my wallet and in order to respect Stev's time I just asked for him to send an Apple Pay request thinking that I would be able to pay with the credit card on my phone. Unfortunately this business does not allow that. No worries. I find my wallet and call back with 15 mins. Unfortunately Stev has left wherever he was and was unable to process my credit card payment. He told me to call back Monday or Tuesday and that unfortunately the reservation would auto delete. Again no worries we're 2 months out. I called back on Tuesday and got the voicemail, which said it was ok to text. Since this is 2022 I figured why not. When he becomes available he'll reach out and we'll complete the transaction over the phone. Thankfully I got back Stev's assistant "Luke". He asked, via text, what services I wanted to book. I replied 4 mins later...no answer. Sent a follow up an hour later...no answer. Two hours later I get a response saying that "We are still awaiting your response." WEIRD. Ok. No worries. Here was my response...did you not get it? Another text two mins later, "We are still awaiting your response." Alright, this is mad bizarre. So I call--in the middle of my workout. Maybe they're in the mountains where the signal is poor? IDK...nonetheless, NO ANSWER. So I guess now I'm concerned. From my prospective I'm almost glad that I didn't pay cash upfront for the services. Over the past couple of years between COVID deaths and random accidents, people--service providers, are no longer with us. And while I'm sympathetic to the friends and families of those individuals, in this situation I would have been out of the money spent for the service, the money spent on the plane ticket to get there (oh, did I mention I was traveling from Phoenix to LA for the service?), the Uber/car service, and the time. That's not to say Stev is no longer alive. I just haven't heard back from either him or his assistant. It's really a shame. This place has great reviews and honestly Stev seemed like a nice guy on the phone. I would still pay for the services upfront with a credit card if someone would ever call me back or respond to my texts. read more

I had never been waxed, (I'm super hairy all over) and was very surprised at how amazing the whole experience was. Stev was super nice, explained the process and immediately made me feel like an old friend. I kept my bush, but Stev cleaned it up around the edges and did my sack, taint and crack (kept the hair on my cheeks, too). By far the best place for a man to get waxed. I have now had three waxing sessions with Stev and I can honestly say this man is STELLAR at what he does. I went in to get a back wax and he not only did an amazing job, but mad me feel so relaxed.
