This review is long overdue! I originally visited OC Manscape back in Fall 2024. Going into it, the experience was quite different than what I had expected. Let's be honest--waxing is inherently quite painful, but Stev is absolutely incredible at making the process essentially pain-free. He was extremely accommodating and went out of his way to ensure the entire process was as comfortable as possible. The room is in a very private area inside a large hair salon, which immediately helps put you at ease, and Stev is incredibly flexible. On top of the fantastic service itself, Stev is highly knowledgeable about aftercare. He easily advised me on the best practices and was quick to answer any questions I had to make sure I had no issues afterward. As a quick heads-up for anyone visiting, it is probably best to park at the mall parking structure and just walk over. Because of the high level of care and that great first impression, I have come back to OC Manscape multiple times now. If you are looking for a high-quality, comfortable grooming experience with someone who truly knows what they are doing, I can't recommend Stev enough! read more

Frequently go to this spot for Manzilians. Stev is great and provides excellent service. Conveniently located next to the brea mall inside Alexander's salon. I'd recommend parking at nordstroms allot and walking over as parking out front is spotty sometimes. Usually a super quick service, around 45min in and out. read more

Definitely a 5 star rating for me Firstly because Stev advised me to hold off on getting my first wax ever right before a Photoshoot I had. He could've just brought me in for the business, but he advised me that since it's my first time there may or may not be some irritation which wouldn't come out well on pics. Well, I did eventually go about two weeks later and got my first partial Brazilian from Blake, which came out nice and clean. Scheduling was super easy, Blake's explanation of the process before hand and sense of humor definitely made the process more enjoyable. I've always wanted to try the Brazilian wax but I've always been hesitant. I was a little nervous it would hurt and nervous to just expose myself to a total stranger. Stev was seriously the best being my first time. He made me feel so comfortable and calm. He talked me every step and answered all my questions about waxing. The after math feels amazing! I can not get over how nice and cleaned up I look. Best wax experience I've ever had and I've done the leg work. I've been to places that have ripped my skin, or the wax was way too hot and have even had inappropriate advances. Stev has always been easy going, great conversation, professional and amazing at his craft. Definitely the least painful I've been too. His technique is on point. So I'm a bit concerned. I called and made an appointment for services almost 2 months in advance of my first bodybuilding competition. I know it's early, but I'm starting a new job and I'm a planner. Nonetheless, I called, spoke to Stev and got an appointment on the books. I was told that the cost of the services needed to be charged upfront in order to hold the reservation. While that seemed odd, I was willing to play ball. Unfortunately I could not find my wallet and in order to respect Stev's time I just asked for him to send an Apple Pay request thinking that I would be able to pay with the credit card on my phone. Unfortunately this business does not allow that. No worries. I find my wallet and call back with 15 mins. Unfortunately Stev has left wherever he was and was unable to process my credit card payment. He told me to call back Monday or Tuesday and that unfortunately the reservation would auto delete. Again no worries we're 2 months out. I called back on Tuesday and got the voicemail, which said it was ok to text. Since this is 2022 I figured why not. When he becomes available he'll reach out and we'll complete the transaction over the phone. Thankfully I got back Stev's assistant "Luke". He asked, via text, what services I wanted to book. I replied 4 mins later...no answer. Sent a follow up an hour later...no answer. Two hours later I get a response saying that "We are still awaiting your response." WEIRD. Ok. No worries. Here was my response...did you not get it? Another text two mins later, "We are still awaiting your response." Alright, this is mad bizarre. So I call--in the middle of my workout. Maybe they're in the mountains where the signal is poor? IDK...nonetheless, NO ANSWER. So I guess now I'm concerned. From my prospective I'm almost glad that I didn't pay cash upfront for the services. Over the past couple of years between COVID deaths and random accidents, people--service providers, are no longer with us. And while I'm sympathetic to the friends and families of those individuals, in this situation I would have been out of the money spent for the service, the money spent on the plane ticket to get there (oh, did I mention I was traveling from Phoenix to LA for the service?), the Uber/car service, and the time. That's not to say Stev is no longer alive. I just haven't heard back from either him or his assistant. It's really a shame. This place has great reviews and honestly Stev seemed like a nice guy on the phone. I would still pay for the services upfront with a credit card if someone would ever call me back or respond to my texts. read more

I had never been waxed, (I'm super hairy all over) and was very surprised at how amazing the whole experience was. Stev was super nice, explained the process and immediately made me feel like an old friend. I kept my bush, but Stev cleaned it up around the edges and did my sack, taint and crack (kept the hair on my cheeks, too). This is not a legit business. Wax guy Steven touches you inappropriately during his services! This has to be beyond the worse place to get services from. It's so unprofessional they schedule only based on their availability and convince some shady stuff has happen in those room. This guy is disgusting. By far the best place for a man to get waxed. I have now had three waxing sessions with Stev and I can honestly say this man is STELLAR at what he does. I went in to get a back wax and he not only did an amazing job, but mad me feel so relaxed. You can go to him and he'll make you feel so at ease like an old friend who just so happens to be a 20+ year professional in this industry. The pain is minimal because he knows the best techniques. Upon my last visit, I had mentioned past interest in getting a full manzillion, but was just too afraid of the pain in that sensitive area. Stev asked if he could do a strip for me for free on my balls to prove to me it wasn't as bad as I was imagining. I was scared, but I hesitantly accepted his offer. Palms sweating and fists clenched, I assumed the position. He applied the wax and after a few short seconds, he ripped it off and I honestly barely felt it. I came in for that the next week. He explained everything about what to expect and reassured me there would be nothing to be embarrassed about. He made me feel like a brother and that made my experience just soar.
