They respond quickly to requests for service and their prices are lower than other companies. The workers are friendly, quiet, cover furniture with plastic, wear booties on their shoes and work efficiently and neatly. They even removed labels from my ceiling fans after they were mounted when I asked them to. read more

Nice people. They made a mistake (not bringing scaffolding), but they owned up to it and went to get it quickly. Then they worked quickly to get my chandelier installed, and they communicated well. I would hire them again. read more

After doing a lot of homework I asked some pretty involved questions before hiring them for the job and OC electric had all the right answers on safety and part specifications. Very happy with my install and city inspection. It didn't go perfectly but any issues were made right. They make sure to take care of you. read more

I needed to replace some GFCIs in my home and called OC Electric for an estimate. Ruben answered my call and provided me with an estimate for equipment and labor that was very fair and competitive. Ruben contacted me about 30 minutes ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. As soon as OC Electric arrived at my home, Ruben and his crew put protective coverings on their boots to protect my floors and promptly replaced the old GFCIs with new GFCIs. They did a great job and cleaned-up everything before they left my home. OC Electric is highly recommended! read more

Pros: 1) replied to my quote inquiry same day! 2) great communication. Responded in a timely manner 3) explained everything very well 4) did not try to price gauge me like other companies with the same task 5) honest guys who don't try to oversell you on things you don't need or BS you and get you to pay more for the labor 6) they were quick to install my ev charger taking approximately 45 minutes 7) kind and great customer service 8) and did not make a mess of the home. They did not damage anything. There aren't any holes left. The install was seamless and you hardly would even know that they had to drill through drywall. It was super clean! Cons: 1) wish I found them sooner for my previous electrical needs in the home! I would highly recommend Ruben and his company to all my friends and neighbors! They were amazing! I'm considering on calling them back to install recess lights! read more

A+ on an EV wall charger install for a Rivian. Ruben responded quickly with a reasonable quote, kept me updated on the permit application, scheduled the install within a business day of getting the permit, showed up on schedule and did an excellent job on the install. He communicated clearly throughout, documented the work, cleaned up and waited for me to connect the unit to WiFi and run a test charge. He pointed out that our other EV's wall plug was not up to the latest standard, and replaced that for $70. After he left, I discovered one wall controller for a garage door lost power. He returned the same day and addressed it (turned out the breaker for the garage door openers was a little loose. Excellent service for a reasonable price. I highly recommend OC Electric! read more

I had requested a simple addition of an electrical outlet. OC Electric was one of the first parties to answer with a quote that was quite reasonable and competitive. They were also very responsive and accommodating when scheduling the date and time of the installation. On the day of the appointment they arrived within the agreed upon time range. They installed the outlet quickly and left everything the way it was when they arrived. I won't hesitate to hire them again. read more

OC electric was exactly what I needed when my EV charger burnt the plug. Ruben came out the next morning in their professional company van, replaced the socket with an updated nema 1450, and cleaned the area up. I didn't even realize they installed my plug the first time before I messed it up, until they told me; and gave me a bit of a break for it. Super honest, so I really appreciate that a lot! I wouldn't look any further anymore. I'm just saving these guys in my bookmarks for future electrical work. read more

OC Electric was very responsive in addressing our issues. They quickly and honestly assessed our situation and resolved our electrical concerns relative to two electrical outlets that were not working properly at a very reasonable cost. Ruben Jr., Ruben Sr., and their cousin, Ricardo, are simply the best electricians and they are so easy to deal with. If there are any future needs for their electrical services, I will certainly reach out to OC Electric as they are the epitome of a 5 Star company. Very honest, reasonably priced and reliable. Couldn't ask for more. Had a few issues with our wiring, and they were quick to respond and came out within a day and fixed it. read more

Great communication and knowledgeable in what they do. Quick responses for the questions I had for them. I had them come in a few times to do a few things ie new 240V 20A and 240V 40A line, and switching out few breakers for our kitchen remodel. Additionally we pulled permits on the electrical work. OC Electric handled all the permits and scheduling for us. They provided us a very fair price in comparison to other electricians regarding permitting. Highly recommend them if you need to pull permits! Pricing for the electrical work themselves are on par with others. They also include patchwork, ie putting back the old drywall not incl. mud and paint. (Which most electricians I asked didn't provide this service) The only "con" I had was that during patchwork, they dropped the piece behind the wall and had to open up another hole/patch to get the piece out. I would have rather they asked and not open up another hole so that I wouldn't have to mud/paint another hole. Otherwise, highly recommend! They're very communicative and highly knowledgeable. read more

Absolutely satisfied with the service and professionalism. Called various electrical companies and OC Electric easily stood out on every level. They even went beyond expectations! I will use them again and will definitely recommend. Thank you! read more

OC Electric showed up on time and provided a written estimate at no charge. The electrician was very polite and very knowledgeable.

I needed my ceiling fan + some switches in my house changed. I was trying to do it myself at first but realized that it's a really difficult job and realized it would be better to just hire a professional. Reuben offered a really good rate and had his team come out to my house for the job. His team was very courteous, polite and friendly, and worked efficiently to get the job done quickly. Unfortunately, the fan that I bought was defective and did not work.. we did not realize this until it was fully installed. Fortunately the team was very understanding and offered me a very reasonable fair price to come back out and reinstall once I bought a new fan, which I gladly accepted. Overall I was very satisfied with the service and will definitely call them out again for any electrical work that needs to be done. read more

The service was great. Unlike some contractors, they came when they said they would. They did the job and we're out in less than an hour. The response time was great and they kept me updated when someone was on their way. OC Electric finished the extensive electrical work on my home yesterday and did a wonderful job. I really couldn't have asked for better. This was my first time hiring electricians and this was really great. They left everything clean and done perfectly. Reasonably priced. This was an 8 hour job. Chandelier, and 4 other lights installed. About 18 switches and plugs changed and updated. Outdoor new plug installed and new wired smoke detectors installed. Ruben is wonderful and polite and his workers are the same. Highly recommend. read more

They helped me install my Tesla charger 13 months ago. They were very professional and polite. My charger started having issues and they still honored their work and came by to make sure it wasn't anything that they did on their end. read more

They came out, no muss no fuss and installed my charger and 70amp breaker and appropriate wire. It took longer for them to go get the breaker and wire (which is not as common so they did not have on hand) than for them to professionally install the charger. They made sure that the charger was working after they were done and were very courteous. I would definitely call them again for my electrical needs and also recommend them to friends and family. read more

Made a request for two ceiling fans to be installed. The team was in and out QUICK. Will update if anything changes, but the service was fast, fans are working great thus far, and the pricing was fair amongst all competitors I got quotes from that were trying to bloat the scope of work. Would hire again for future electrical work! read more

They were fast to respond and also being honest with the job which we greatly appreciated. We'll hire them again!

If I could I would give them 10 stars!! They are super professional, starting with making the appointment and showing up right on time. Very knowledgeable, very curious and polite. They've done several install at our house but one was a chandelier I bought with missing parts and super heavy...
