I needed my EV Charger, pendant lights, and chandelier setup. Ruben was quick to respond and competitively priced. He showed up on time and provided guidance on the best spot for the charger and length of the lights. The chandelier had over 40 parts and he helped set it up. He also took the packaging with him to dispose of. All while being polite and pleasant. 10 out of 10, would use him again and highly recommend his services. read more

Fabulous customer service! That is on top of being reliable and punctual. I had a new lighting fixture installed, then a month later half of the lights went out on the fixture...it was a faulty lighting fixture. The fixture was under warranty, so it was replaced with another new one. The technicians came back to install the new fixture at no charge, even though they were not at fault. I will definitely use them again next time I need electrical work. read more

I had heard good things about OC Electric from our son and daughter-in-law. They were right! The crew of three arrived and went right to work, replacing old wall sockets, installing a new ceiling fan, changing out defective wall switches and re-routing the cable TV cable up through the attic where it is now invisible. Their work was quick, professional and they left our house in pristine condition when they were done. I highly recommend OC Electric! read more

I messaged several electricians on Yelp for quotes to install a NEBA 14-50 outlet for a level 2 EV charger and Ruben was communicative and answered my questions including what brand of outlet they use. While the quote wasn't the lowest price, I decided to go with him due to the industrial outlet they install as well as the glowing reviews. I'm satisfied with the end result. Ruben sent a team of two to perform the job and arrived on time. They had to stop midway during the install and make an unexpected visit to a nearby hardware store to buy some parts. Not a big deal and they returned promptly to finish the job. I just wished they confirmed with me the desired outlet location before drilling into the drywall. But the install was clean and they made sure to clean up after themselves, which was appreciated. With so many electricians on Yelp having similar glowing reviews, I'm not sold that I would use OC Electric again for future projects I have planned inside my home. read more

One of the receivers on the fan died and I've been waiting to get it replaced with the wall switch. At the same time, I also wanted to switch out all the CFL to LED for less energy. This has been one of the home improvement projects that has been lingering on my to-do list forever. I've reached out for several quotes and I realize this would be a pricey improvement. Ruben responded and offered to come by for a free estimate. After the initial assessment, I found his quote was very reasonable. Ruben was very prompt with providing answers to my additional questions. In the end, I decided to get it done and entrusted the project with Ruben. His team came earlier than the promised time to start and worked non-stop throughout the whole day. The work was professional and they also did the clean up. The fan switches had a little slight problem but Ruben and his team came out on the following Monday and got it taken care of within minutes. One of the wall plates was cracked and Ruben had it replaced. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of work and promptness of getting it done. I highly recommend them for future electric work. read more

We had a great experience getting our main panel replaced and service upgraded to 200amps. Ruben was able to provide a quote based on photos I sent him. He was very responsive to all the questions I had. His quote was the most detailed and thorough quote I received, which along with being one of the more competitively priced, is the reason we selected O.C. Electric for the job. Ruben and his crew made the whole process easy for us, as they took care of everything, including permits, patching stucco and painting, and Ruben was very communicative about each step throughout the process. I'll definitely be reaching out to Ruben for future electrical needs. read more
