If you're looking for a low-key place to grab a beer, cider, or wine on tap, be sure to check out Olney Beer & Wine. They have about 25 beverages on tap at a time that rotate. If you have the munchies while you're there, they offer charcuterie (2 or 4 selections of different meats and cheeses) and hummus as well. Bonus if you go during HH (M-Sa 4-7pm and Sun all day), where you get 20% off drinks and food. Score! While you eat/drink, you can also watch sports on 1 of 2 TVs. There are plenty of high tops, and when I've gone here, the place wasn't too busy so you can definitely socially distance yourself from other patrons Service is super friendly, with staff happy to answer any questions you may have on the items in the shop. If you're near the Olney Village Center and looking to grab a drink somewhere (or to go), definitely check out OBW.

Great selection, fun time and friendly staff. We will definitely be back to support this local gem.

Great atmosphere with seating for a beer or wine tasting

Go Here! In fact, drop what your are doing and go here right now! Great beer selection - lots of local and unique beers. Also they have a bar on site with a real chill atmosphere to have a couple of pints or take away a crowler. There is a real nice seating area to enjoy some beers or wine. They also have charcuterie platters. The owner, Miguel, was awesome to sit and chat with as we drank our beers.

Surprisingly pleased with my Walker's experience!…read more I met with a former student. Since I got there a little early, I ordered a small pizza as an appetizer. The waiter didn't quite know what I meant, but did get the request to slice it in smaller rectangles rather than triangle slices. It was light and tasty. However, I'm pretty sure I'd be very hungry if I had ordered it as my meal. That was followed by the beer can chicken cobb salad. It was just the right size! We sat outside. Since Walker's is at the end of the strip, they have outdoor seating on the sidewalk. No fault of the establishment, when the sun went down, it got cold quickly! Now, I'm inclined to try the other Table and Tap restaurant a couple miles west.

Hubby and I met friends here for double date night. We were greeted by a kind hostess who quoted a 30-35 minute wait. They do not accept reservations. We were seated within 15 minutes and greeted by Jackson. This restaurant was spacious, clean, and had a semi woodsy décor. Collectively, we ordered the following. Winter Daiquiri Walter's Old Fashioned Shots (Titos, Crown Royal, Lemon Drop, Green Tea) Sparkling Cosmo Black Manhattan Smoked Wings (Buffalo) Pan Seared Salmon Fish & Chips Cajun Crab Cake Sandwich The beverages did what they were ordered to do. They gave hefty pours and we appreciated it. The Smoked Buffalo Wings were pretty yum. Great portion size. Tasty. Pan Seared Salmon was perfectly prepared to my liking, I substituted the risotto for fries to avoid the dairy. It was pretty good. I would order again. Well plated w zucchini under salmon. The fish and chips were the hit at the table. The breading had an amazing flavor, and the fish was prepared well. The Cajun Crab Sandwich was a hit w my hubby. He devoured his food quickly stating he would get it again. It was well plated, flavorful, and fulfilling. We received 10/10 service by Jackson who was attentive to our requests. There was an issue w a dish at our table that the manager (Kelly) resolved quickly, and left our table mate happy. I highly recommend this establishment for a good, hearty meal.

I feel compelled to update my earlier review. Since then, I have been coming here regularly with a…read moregroup on Wednesday nights for trivia night. The activity itself is fun and well run. The Happy Hour menu is varied enough to allow for several tasty choices at excellent prices and the regular menu also is available, where the prices also are not bad. And the food is good. There are even some healthier options on the regular menu, i.e., it's a restaurant - not all typical fried/salty bar food. The reason for this update is on the Staff. They are a very hard-working and friendly bunch. The place can be a madhouse when it is busy, but the Staff are very attentive, and surprisingly efficient in the ordering process, food/drink delivery and in settling up at the end of the night. We sit at a group table where different members come and go and order at different times (requesting separate checks), but the checks at the end of the night are almost always correct and timely. It's a remarkably impressive Staff.

The place is not too busy for a Friday. I sat at the bar waiting to be noticed for almost 10 minutes. The bartender came close, but then she decided to stop and have a conversation about her nails. The. I finally gave up when she went to the further side of the bar and started putting glasses away. I was not hard to spot as a newly seated patron. I was alone, in row of 4 empty seats. I'm not kidding. The first 4 seats by the kitchen were empty and I sat in the 3rd seat. You couldn't miss me if you tried...unless you're this bartender. Normally they have the best Korean spiced boneless wings. Today, they missed the mark. I wasn't even hungry. I had a crappy evening and I came here for some comfort food and they just ruined that.

The biggest issue across the board was the food--everything tasted bland. There was a noticeable lack of seasoning, and most dishes ended up tasting the same. I started with a Caesar salad, which was unusual with added tomatoes and other vegetables you don't typically see. While it was fine, it lacked flavor. For the main course, all four of us ordered pasta, and again, the same issue--very little taste. No one offered fresh Parmesan, which is something you'd normally expect with a pasta dish. Halfway through my meal, trying to improve the flavor, I asked for some Parmesan. I was genuinely surprised when the server told me it would cost an extra $1. It wasn't about the dollar--it was the principle. Charging extra for something as basic as Parmesan with pasta felt unreasonable. When we raised the concern, the manager confirmed this policy came directly from the owner. My advice: just include it in the price of the dish. Policies like that leave a bad impression and cost you repeat customers. Between the bland food and that moment, the experience turned from disappointing to frustrating. Sadly, this isn't a place we'll be returning to--and it's one we'll be warning others about.

He rushed us to order, made us uncomfortable when we were deciding what to order, and asked us if we wanted the house made bread. I knew the bread was $5 but he made no mention of it. If I was coming to eat there and was asked if I wanted bread and didn't know there was a charge, I would be upset. It was kind of deceiving, and when the bill came out, shoved the handheld device to pay in my face and I couldn't go over the bill. He told me to put my phone here when paying and that was that. The bill was incorrect and I had to get a manager to fix it (the manger was very friendly and took care of everything). I also have an issue when a server asks us how the food is, right when the food gets put down on the table. We hadn't even had a chance to take a bite. Now, why I gave this place a five star. Like I said before, the ambiance was amazing, if we had a different server, I'm sure it would had been great! The food: it' was top notch. Some of the best food in Maryland. I wouldn't had changed anything with the food. Everything was seasoned perfectly, had the right textures, and tasted so good! Would I go back? Absolutely!
