And about how physicians make more money on this than almost any other procedure. This tells me that Texas pain physicians and Mr Creighton are all about profit and not at all about the well being of the patient. If anyone were to just google the reviews on these spine stimulators, you'll find the following % breakdown as I've done the research before , ....20% find significant relief, and about 20% say it worsened their pain and 50% say it made no difference in those pain and 10% say it only reduced their pain levels only very slightly at best. In other words, 60-70% got no benefit and many ended up permanently injured or bed ridden. But don't take my word for it, see that CNBC article, it basically says what I have said here in this review. It says many patients have suffered permanent damage from electrical burns on their nerves caused by these implants and the article even quotes the FDA as acknowledging that the dangers were far greater than they initially thought. The fact that Dr Creighton seems to do nothing else but this one procedure is a huge RED FLAG!! This is what he pushes. However, for those willing to take the risk even after reading that CNBC article, by all means for for it. I just want all to know be ready cause this is what he will push on you.

My medical care was fine. However, the logistics/office management was poor…read more I showed up for my appointment (which I had email confirmation of, AND had received a confirmation phone call about) and was told I cancelled it. I took no such action! It was a huge inconvenience to have to come back at a time that did not really work for my schedule. In addition, the email confirmation I received had the wrong address. Apparently the Richardson location has moved (correct address is now N Plano) but that was not clear in the correspondence I had received (incorrectly stating Spectrum Blvd). So in addition to having to return for a later appointment (since they scheduled over mine), I also wasted time driving to and waiting around at the old location. All and all, I spent 3.5 hours driving/waiting/rescheduling an appointment that took only 1 hour. I will say that everyone was super nice throughout the situation. My provider was kind and thorough. I just would not recommend this office to anyone who works/is busy. I bring this experience up not out of malice, but out of hope that it will prevent someone else the frustration.

Unfortunately, I did not experience the kind of care that others have posted about…read more Instead I received harassing phone calls, a call to my emergency contact when it was claimed that I didn't return a call (though I did and proved it). As a result, I had to revoke consent to contact my emergency contact and only allowed communication with my primary. I was sent for a pre-qualifying shot that cost me, literally to walk through the door, $3,815.00 and that's with a PPO insurance policy. I was told that I wouldn't need surgery. I was prescribed a nerve study (that would cost $498 out of pocket) that when asked, I was told the outcome would not change regardless of the results of the nerve study. HMMM, why take a test that costs $498 out of pocket that doesn't change the way I would've been treated? That was my last appointment with Spine Team Texas, Richardson. That day when I canceled the nerve study, I was told that if I didn't like the 1st pre-qualifying shot, I'm not going to be happy to hear I have to do another before I get the real shot. I was told that I could go to 5 other back and neck doctors and they will all tell me the same thing. Guess what? I went to see a neurosurgeon. I have my referral for the real shot in my lower back and neck. Oh, and I was told that I will 100% need surgery on both areas as well. All in all, I feel as though I wasted months of my life going to Spine Team Texas, Richardson and I know for a fact I wasted well over $5,000. I'm grateful I took the doctor's advice and went to see another doctor. PS. The only reason there is 1 star is because I needed to add it in order to post this review.

She dismissed my comments and injected my knee. Four days later I was in the emergency room in immense pain. The ER Dr removed 45 ML of thick yellow fluid and then admitted me for knee surgery to flush out my leg. I had a septic knee from the injections. I spent 9 days in the hospital and was on IV antibiotics thru a pic line for 6 weeks and then another 6 weeks of high level antibiotics. I went from playing golf, doing Pilates and learning pickleball to using a walker for weeks and 4 months later am still in more pain than when I started. I believe that if the tech had not injected me and had sent me to a real Dr to I could have been spared by catching the infection earlier. Their goal is to make money not care for the patient.

Terrible doctors office with abhorrent service and useless hours. The posted hours are until 5 yet…read morethe doctors leave by 1pm so what's the point? If you have a full time job it's impossible to be seen without taking a whole day off work. Even if you're appointment is scheduled for early in the morning plan to be there all day because theyre late starting appointments do it's impossible to know when you'll be done. Was informed they require you to have appointments every month to stay on your mental health medicine or they'll cut you off. The thing is though they pick and choose when to enforce that policy because I was getting refills without monthly appointment then they decided one day I don't need my meds anymore. Lol They do offer virtual appointments but their technology isn't advanced enough or their WiFi is to weak. You can barely have a conversation and understand the Dr. I will say Dr. Saleem is nice and is a good doctor, however how the practice is run is incredibly unorganized and the policy's are not practical. RUN away before going here if you have a full time job and have regular medications. This Dr office is for people who have all the time to work around their schedule or elderly patients with no set schedule. Thank God open enrollment is back so I can switch insurance and get back to a real Dr office. I've had better care and compassion at a free mental health clinic in the hood. These people are deplorable. For anyone with diagnosed mental illness I beg you to go somewhere that actually sees you as a person and wants to help you and keep you safe. Seek help from those who WANT to help you not just want your money. Ps. At my first and only in person appointment there were dead roaches in the room I was seen in
