Been waiting for this place to open in the neighborhood for a while. It did not disappoint. Was cool to see Cesar himself cooking just like at the yellow green market. Super small and simple menu but delicious and fresh and unique. Nice vibe inside. Didn't try any of the drinks but they looked delicious Update: returned on a Friday night for dinner. I found this place on yelp and boy was it a hidden gem. I walk in there super friendly vibe right away. Eye contact, friendly energy, quick order etc. Then the food is delicious, we got the wac/salsa and one chicken and short rib burrito. Everything was just fresh, extremely tasty. Prosecco pops! This is a must! The Yellow Green Farmer's MArket in Hollywood is a staple. There are so many amazing booths. While walking around exploring, buying and taste testing you really work up an appetite and let's be honest in the Florida heat having a refreshing drink is key! What is great about Oaxaka is that this double booth has ample seating which is nice to have. gives you a break from walking around the YG and you can sit and really enjoy your food with typical restaurant service. But back to the prosecco pops! They make their fruit Popsicle in house, so already that's a plus for me! Homemade means less added sugar! I went with the strawberry flavor but they also had mango and another one (sorry forgot what it was). They place the popsicle upside down in a goblet of prosecco. It is so refreshing! My server told me to periodically stir the popsicle so pieces could dissolved adding a very tasty new flavor to the wine! You then take a bite, take a sip, stir and repeat! They also have some amazing fusion tacos (Mexican - Asian) and the guacamole looked amazing! My neightbor had some and said it was fantastic! I just spent 90 mins on the phone with Am Ex trying to stop the charges and setting up disputes. Am Ex says it could be a month before they can resolve the $800 worth of charges. We stopped because we heard the chicken fajitas were delicious. We weren't disappointed, not only were they extremely tasty the homemade salsa that accompanied it was equally delicious. We sat outside because it was a beautiful day. That didn't stop our waitress from giving us exceptional service. Yummy in your tummy! Friday is no cook night at our house and felt for something different. Opted forward this place from Uber eats. Yum, the chicken burrito and the short rib quesadilla were perfection. I had the short rib bowl also. I had two meals from it, dinner and breakfast (don't judge me). The food came warm and was a perfect swirl of Mexican and Asian flavors. They took the best flavors and spices from both those worlds and made them into perfect bites. I ordered a passion fruit juice which also was quite tasty, plastic sealed and no ice.. just juice. Large enough for two but tasty enough for one. I'd definitely order again and recommend. I was walking around looking for this place and I happen to walk right into it, JACKPOT! I sat in their brand new bar. The young lady was filling the beer area with ice. I asked her if it was too early for a beer. She said "No, never too early!". I like this place already! I ordered a Victoria beer. She introduced herself as Anne. Oaxaka is a Mexican Asian Fusion concept. I saw their GUACAMOLE on the menu and I had to try it. You figure if the guacamole is good at a Mexican restaurant than the food must be exceptional. Their guacamole is made with Hass avocados, red onions, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice and lots of love. It was the best guacamole, DELICIOSO!!!. I ordered the BEEF SHORT RIB & the CARNITAS taco. I under estimated the size of this taco when it arrived. Once I picked it up, I noticed it is filled heavily with the meat. You absolutely get your monies worth here!. I could barely finish the 2nd taco. Anne kept checking on me. Also, Cesar who brought me my food. Then I saw him taking pictures of the bar area. We started talking about photography, phones and Instagram. While we were chatting it up, a young girl came by just to talk to Cesar and gave him an incense stick as a gift. Many people kept coming by, either other shop owners or patrons, just to say hello and to get some delicious food or just to drink a beer. Later I find out that Anne and Cesar are the owners here. They are the friendliest, nicest people. There are many more items on the menu. It was only myself during this visit so this was all I could consume. Stopped by with my Mom after some shopping for a bite to eat. We had the guac which was fresh and limey. I ordered the short rib and my mom dove into the tuna. I enjoyed the short rib, it was tasty and reminiscent of our version of ropa vieja - shredded beef. Very tender and the jalapeño slice has a nice little kick on top. My mom enjoyed her tuna. They were thick raw cubes and a nice slice of avocado ontop. A little steep for the size of the tacos, but tasty none the less. read more

I had inch at this restaurant in downtown Hollywood. It's a small restaurant with only a few tables and a small bar, but it's nicely decorated and a pleasant atmosphere. The chips are home made and you can choose mild or hot salsa. They were very good. Th e tuna taco and short rib taco were also delicious. I give it a four because the margarita was marginal. We visited Oaxaka last Saturday night and ordered 3 bowls; Carnitas, Pollo Asado and Ahi. My daughter thought the Carnitas was a little bland, but the addition of cumin-lime crema added a nice flavor. My wife ordered the pollo and really like the rub (achiote) because she was unfamiliar with it. I ordered the spicy Ahi. It was fresh and the spicy mayo had a nice, but not overpowering kick. I also ordered a seaweed salad that we not memorable. Overall, I would come back, but I would recommend that they try to add some zhuzh. read more

So the Yellow and Green Farmers Market has been a fun time for me lately. Found this place today. I wasn't really hungry but decided to eat because I'm fat. Nonetheless it had tuna with a kimchee sauce, wakame salad, and the most delicious nachos EVER! First, the ambiance: you're at a farmers market so don't spazz out if your seat isn't pulled out for you or a fine linen napkin placed in your lap. However, the staff is stellar. Making you feel like you're in a fine restaurant. Brings me to my next point, they're working on getting a place you can go to besides Saturday and Sunday. So, eat there...more profit = quicker location = delicious food more frequently. Anyway, having been to South Korea I wasn't keen on reading the kimchee sauce. Everywhere you go in Korea someone is eating kimchee and the smell gets to me. But I put my big boy pants on and channeled my inner Andrew Zimmern. I'm so glad I did. Everything is deconstructed so you toss as much tuna or wakame salad on the nacho as you want. I made my first little chip and my heart literally skipped a beat or 12. It was delicious!!! Like legit delicious. Like I would smack a stranger (not my momma) delicious. The flavor was amazing. I'm sitting in a little cafe type restaurant in a farmers market in South Florida in July...sweating places I didn't know could sweat, about to die of heat stroke...yet I was at peace with it.
