Margarita Panini Soup of the day

I had margarita panini with tomato soup was incredibly tasty. Very cozy place with delicious home style food. The service was outstanding! They even wrote my name on the coffee foam. Loved it!!!

I came for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and drinks. The chai latte was on point as was the chicken pesto panini. A good mix of chicken, sauce and condiments. Decent price for portion of food. Quick service, amicable staff, clean establishment. Nice ambiance, natural light and Latinx music playing. Great vibes, plenty of parking in the lot next door.

The cubano torta is HUGE. It is $10+ per sandwich, but it is worth it. Each sandwich is the size of 2 sandwiches. I made the grave mistake of getting 2 of these and i could not finish it in one setting. I felt the sandwich was both big in size and flavorful. P.S. Google maps is a bit deceiving. Don't try entering the main building to get into the cafe. Instead go in by the side entrance located from the sidewalk.

    2/10 breakfast burrito, $9.50.

ladies working here were curt and rude, I felt more like an annoyance than a paying customer. breakfast burrito innards were 1 dimensional in texture (rubbery, gooey), hashbrowns undercooked. the salsa was the best part. will not be coming back and won't be recommending to coworkers.

We were looking for a different restaurant option for lunch today. I went on Yelp and found Oasis Deli. If you live in the San Jose area and have not been, then you need to get on down there! Oasis Deli is located inside an office building, so if you are not looking, you will pass right by it. We were fortunate to find street parking (which is free) around 12:30pm on a weekday. The menu is really quite large--especially for such a small place. It is a no-frills deli. Maybe 8-10 tables. Counter service. Nothing fancy. I ordered an Asian Chicken Salad. My fiancé ordered a hot Pastrami sandwich and his coworker ordered the hot Chicken Supreme sandwich. All of our food came out pretty quickly. My initial reaction to my salad was that it looked quite plain--and it did. I think it was lacking color. It needed something red in it. But the taste of the salad was really good. I think the dressing was key but the chicken in the salad was really delicious. Both men enjoyed their sandwiches. The pastrami sandwich was wolfed down in about 4 bites. I really think I would like to try the Chicken Supreme sandwich next time I go. It looked good--chunks of chicken breast, avocado, bacon, swiss...oh my! While I was finishing my salad, my fiancé went up for a cookie. The chocolate chunk cookie was HUGE and was only $2.50. I think that's a steal. He said it was perfectly soft, fresh and chewy. While we were sitting around, the restaurant finally started to slow down. The guy working the register (and serving) offered to let us try the pozole. It was so good. I would return just for that soup. The broth had so much flavor. It had good heat (spice) without being too powerful. The hominy and chicken were delicious. Yum. I'm getting hungry again. Definitely go to Oasis. It's a hidden gem!

After I ordered I waited off to the side where the coffee was.

The interior of Oasis Metro Cafe resembles the way Cafe Zoe is set up - wall of a written menu, case of salads and beverages, coffee to the side, however I feel Oasis Cafe is much more accommodating. Scanning at the menu I opted for a tuna melt vs a build your own. ($7.99 menu price (one of the more cheaper options) + tax, bringing my total to $8.73 - definitely not bad for a sandwich in the airport/business area.) Overall it was very tasty. I asked for it without onion. It was on a toasted rye bread - which looked almost like panini pressed with the grilled marks and was still warm when I ate it back at my office (10 minute walk) so I definitely appreciate the freshness of it. I definitely plan on returning to try other menu items as I feel pretty full and satisfied with the price paid.

Great menu to choose from. I ate their breakfast burrito and it was amazing. The American espresso was perfect.

The shop is a standard deli with a few tables inside. The service is fast and friendly, and the ingredients are fresh. The best part about these sandwiches, though, is that their sourdough has a crunchy exterior. The sourdough I've experienced at other sandwich locations tends to have a softer outside, which leads me to typically offering Dutch crunch instead. At West Coast Sourdough, though, their sourdough is just as crunchy as a Dutch crunch elsewhere, giving me both the texture and flavor profile I desire. If I'm looking for a basic deli sandwich on a quality sourdough roll, it's always safe to assume I'll be going here.

Our go-to order is the clam chowder with a sourdough bread bowl, which is hands down the best. I recommend getting the bread bowl on the side so you can enjoy the bread and chowder together. The clam chowder is my favorite, perfectly creamy with generous chunks of clams and potatoes. The bread bowl is the highlight, fluffy and crispy at the same time. Yum!

Portions are huge and one sandwich is plentiful which can be easily shared among two people for sure. Nowadays, the experiences aren't the same anymore and perhaps, it's been under new people management or something. It's been lacking some logistics and sometimes, it's difficult to hear the order being called out while lots of customers are inside. I told the front staffs that I wanted my portobello chicken sandwich $15.99 and the watermelon beverage $7.99 for here/dine-in. I even left them over $3.50 tips here. While everyone else picked up their orders very fast, mine was stuck somewhere in between others. They all got table numbers except me. I even asked if I needed a table number since I was planning to dine-in, but nobody answered or wanted to respond. They were too busy preparing sandwiches. Wait time to receive order was a bit over 15 minutes. I ended up standing around waiting and waiting, thinking about why I even tipped the place when my anxiety levels were escalating. Without a table number, how would they even know which table outside to deliver my orders to? Portobello chicken sandwich was very good though. Ingredients are full. Ciabatta bread was huge. This thick sandwich can definitely feed two people. Watermelon beverage tasted good too. Tables weren't all wiped down outside, but I can see the few employees hustling and bustling. It's still a strange feeling to not have a table number assigned to me while others did have one. Overall, sandwiches are still good and portions are generous. People love coming here. I think the staffs need more management briefing. They are all hardworking, but the front counter service leaves an impression and feeling about the overall experiences here.

It's nice to see owners work at times and treat their customers so genuinely! So thank you, Chris! The store is honestly decorated so well. There's details everywhere on the wall, and it's all dedicated to San Jose culture and first responders. The ambiance felt local and cool. Now for the food, my husband ordered the Build Your Own Sub with Pastrami and it was delicious! I ordered their new and off the menu French Dip sub with aus ju and IT WAS SO GOOD. Highly recommend to get it now while they have it! Special notes: - All subs are served hot! - They have a hot sauce bar with unique sauces all leveled off from (1-10). 1 = mild and 10 = spiciest! Affordability: both of our subs came out to be around $20 for two large subs. Some people may view the prices as pricey, but if you get a large sub it's definitely worth it. Nothing to brag about, don't let the sando sit around. Make sure you finish it all at once or it will get soggy... may be its because of the oil and vinegar dressing I opted for? Not sure... The wheat bread is a tad too sweet for my liking and the white bread is just plain and flavorless. I do wish they provided options like Sourdough or Dutch Crunch, which also happen to be healthier for you. I wanted to complain that they were expensive but then realized that's how it is everywhere now. That food inflation is no joke... I'd stop by if nothing was around. Not so sure I need to try other items on the menu.
