He's polite, knowledgeable, and 100% tuned into the wants and needs of every client. What else can I say except I give him 5 out of 5 stars as a rating. However... I have been incredibly disappointed recently because as I was seriously looking forward to my annual treck to Oasis only to discover Paul no longer works there! I had an appointment on March 10th 2026 at the Oasis on Hamilton & Indiana . I was not sure I would even be able to get in for full Highlights. Erica was Amazing she got me in, educated me on my hair type, I learned so much from her, she offered me products and it did not seem pushy like some other places. My hair turned out Amazing beyond my expectations!!! She will be my forever hair stylist . Don't go here. I got a blow out done here for my birthday, woman was rude and did a terrible job. Tried to call to get my daughters hair done, said she was 9 and asked if they had anyone good with kids, got told snipply that "we're all good with kids" with layers of annoyance in their voice. i quipped back with "some people are better then others". Ended up not booking. don't waste your time with these rude stylist. read more

Made an appointment early in the day for a 4:30 PM appointment for my husband , 4:40 for myself. At 3:52 PM the stylist for my husband called to cancel had another job that would take her beyond my husband's appointment. Long hair more money. I went for my appointment. The other stylist was in the process of a client, looked like the beginning. He came to the counter, I told him I had a 4:40 appointment, he seemed startled and asked about the phone call that canceled my husband's appointment. I said yes it was canceled but mine wasn't. Apparently they thought that because I said it was ok to cancel my husband, that I was canceled too. Drove there for nothing and I didn't believe I should have to wait. Not the first time I've had crappy service there but tried again. There are many other places but if you desire decent treatment, try another place. She wasn't really able to explain to me the difference between difference between the foils and the partial highlights, etc. But the main thing is that the highlights I do have are mostly red, even though she said she used a toner to fix the red. It's that rusty looking "did not use enough bleach" or whatever red, not a nice red or anything. A lot of money to be disappointed until this grows out. Also disappointed because I got my hair done to go see my favorite band and felt kinda bleh about how I looked. Not really what you want when going to get your hair done. read more

Terrible! Took my son here for a haircut in November, he had recently dyed his hair blonde and the person cutting his hair asked if we wanted it toned. We agreed and she turned his hair magenta and sent us on our way. I emailed the manager and never heard back. Took him there again today for a cut since the last cut wasn't so bad and today's cut was awful and they refused to fix it. Don't ever go here! read more

I gave one star because they were polite and one because they were cheap. Very average haircut. The worst part was the tipping app. You can't just write in the tip amount on your charge card, for whatever reason, so then they direct you to their tipping app called "Tippy". I had absolutely no cash on me, so I said okay. Tippy auto populated suggested tip amounts, which were $6, $8 and $10 on my $19 haircut. That's 32%, 42%, and 53%. I chose "Other" and entered $3. Oasis is crazy. On top of it, Tippy charges you a fee of .50 + 2.75% of the transaction. So my Tippy transaction was $3.60. I won't be going back to Oasis. If they try to trick you into paying an enormous tip, I don't trust them to do anything. read more

Omg... I love my hair! Nila did an amazing job with the color and cut on my hair. She paid attention to detail and the highlights are so even throughout my entire hair and that's what I asked for. I asked for a simple trim with not very much taken off that that's exactly what I got. I left with my hair beautifully colored, cut, and styled and I couldn't be happier! (And as for all the people complaining about the tipping system on here, tip in cash! That's the best way to do it for the stylist and that's the best way to do it for you to control your tip. I tip in cash for every service I use, it just makes sense.) read more

I went in to see Kat, i had long waist length hair. I showed her pictures of long shoulder length layers and she told me no. She said she couldn't leave that much length. I was getting ready to STOP the appointment when she grabbed a chunk of my hair right by my face and chopped it off WITHOUT PERMISSION! She told she 'could tell I was going to back out' so she made the decision to lop off a chunk way way way to short...so I couldn't leave! She didn't listen, she acted like my opinion didn't matter and to top it off she took 18 inches off my hair without permission. Now I have an uneven butchered above shoulder bob. That is an absolute disaster. She cut parts of my hair down to one inch, I have huge gaps and holes because she tore in with a razor. In addition she only talked about her self how bad her life/child is and told me I don't dress up or go out so I don't need long hair...or makeup. She told me over and over all the makeup I should use is mascara. She told me over and over how it was still ' long enough'! That if my bf dumps me cos of my hair well then 'he sucks'... just an endless stream of crap from her. She flat ironed my hair while it was wet , only used gel and didn't bother to style my hair. I left looking like a pompon. Hair sticking up all over the place, with the above the eyebrow bangs standing straight up. Not only did she ruin my hair but she decided on her own what she was going to do to me. Once again: I was trying to get up and leave as she chopped my hair off ' so I couldn't back out'!! In what world does a 'stylist' just cut a huge hunk off to keep a client from leaving? How is this professional? Why wasnt I allowed to end the appointment? Loosing all my hair has made me so incredibly sad. I don't think I'll stop crying until my hair grows out. I had to go see another stylist who took these pictures. Please for the love of hair do not go to oasis!!! The owner is having me go in at 8:30am the day after this horrid haircut to prove I need a refund... It was nice cause I was in a bit of a pinch to get a hair cut in and they cut it the same day I called to make a appointment. But the guy cutting my hair wasn't very friendly, and looked upset the whole time which made me a bit anxious. He cut my hair okay, however he cut the top too short ( a trim turned into a inch and a half) but he didn't blow dry it or wash my hair afterwards. So I had my hair left all over me on my drive home. And his work station was covered in other peoples hair clippings. Like all in the tools and brushes was full of other peoples hair. It was gross. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I waited 1 hour for a cut before anyone even checked in with me. Then the stylists looked between each other to see who wanted to even cut my hair. I feel the staff panders to men's cuts even though they claim to be a salon for both men and women. Younger stylists are much sweeter and kind. Older stylists are rude, their practices are outdated, and it feels like they would want to be anywhere else than cutting hair. The last time I got my hair cut there the woman MASSACRED MY HAIR. I asked for layers and the back of my hair ended up at two different lengths (picture included). Men's cuts are fine, but if you are a woman looking for a trim, or anything beyond a shampoo I would HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else. read more

Went in to get my hair cut and colored with Kelby and she did and Amazing job! So so happy with the outcome and everyone else there seemed to have a positive experience when I was there that day as well. The only downside I experienced when I was there was the price when I went to check out. It advertised that it would be $17 for a cut and 90+ for a balayage and my total came to $145. I just didn't expect it to be almost $40 more for the color but I absolutely love so I would still make this my go to hair place in the future. read more

My 13 year old daughter was excited to have a blowout for the first day of school. I had to run errands and gave her my credit card to pay in case she finished before I returned. The cost was supposed to be $25 dollars. When I looked at the receipt i was charged $50! $40 for the blowout and a $10 for a tip! I was not able to get Oasis to make it right. To be overcharged and for the hair dresser to add it a tip that my daughter did not know how to do herself was really unethical. I had to file a fraud claim to reverse the charges I had not agreed to with my bank. Shame on the manager and the hair dresser - never going there again. read more

I needed a simple trim done and was not wanting to spend a fortune so I called them to ask about their covid routine and she said they had a spot open for 5 that day, I show up and immediately received an attitude after explaining I had called earlier, she was able to get me in and the entire time she was telling me how awful and unhealthy my hair was, she continued to try to sell me very expensive products after saying no. Once I left I noticed that my hair was cut the exact opposite way of how I wanted it, I simply wanted my hair rounded instead of having a straight across cut, she cut the back of my hair shorter and left the front back which now looks horrendous in any style, I have now found out that FOUR other people I know have had their hair messed up by Oasis. THE WORST BANGSHAIRCUT EVER. I went in for a trim and bangs. I asked the lady ARE YOU COMFORTABLE CUTTING BANGS?? She said yes. I said SQUARE bangs like dora the explorer. She sectioned off TRIANGLE bangs. I asked to see them and told her square. Then she asked length. I said i want them at my EYEBROWS si make them a little longer sense they shrink when they dry. She straight up made them 1/2 an inch abocado my eyebrows!! And the center of the bangs was even shorter!! WTF ?? I asked her to take more hair and make the bangs thicker and the top layer longer on top to kind of hide the super short layer. She did the same freaking thing AGAIN. PLUS she cut random hairs on the sudes like she didn't pay attention where the tip of the scissors was. She kept saying sorry.... you need your license revoked if you can't even cut bangs. read more

There was no method to the cutting, the woman literally just started hacking off her hair. Her layers aren't blended, the top of her once beautiful hair now sticks up like alfalfa in little rascals. The length of her hair isn't even in any part. It honestly looks like she tried to give her a mullet, like she was taking her bad day out on my sisters freaking hair! I have been going to oasis for years for my son's haircuts. I've never had an issue an always been very pleased with everything but today changed that. I went to The Southhill location and saw Breanna. The whole haircut she kept rolling her eyes and huffing and puffing and telling him he needed to sit still when the worse that he was doing was getting the hair out of his nose. I put Netflix on my phone for him to watch A TV show and hoping that would help and she watched that TV show more than she paid attention to my sons hair. I finally had enough of her attitude and paid for my haircut that wasn't even completed and left. I went down the street to great clips and paid another $18 to get his hair finished. Got my hair done with Tiffany H yesterday. She did an stunning job (highlights and cut) but the best thing is that she LISTENED to me when cutting my hair. My old stylist was just not doing what I asked, I showed Tiffany a picture and explained the cut I wanted. She couldn't have done a better job! I only gave 4 stars vs 5 stars because the owner really needs to hire someone for the front desk. It must be difficult for the hairstylists to stop and answer the phone and tend to walk-ins when they are trying to concentrate on their clients.
