Strawberry Matcha

Relaxing, clean, beautiful brand new Brunch spot. Women owned. Owner and staff are kind and helpful. Food is delicious! I seriously can't wait to come back and try more from their menu.

The Classic

Wow!! So happy to have another breakfast & brunch gem added to the neighborhood. Oasis Fusion Kitchen took over Gentilly and I'm glad they did! The set up is beautifully done, the food is delicious and the strawberry matcha is otherworldly! One of the best drinks I've ever had and the strawberry purée is organic and made in house. The staff were incredible and welcoming. Please check them out! I'll be telling all my family and friends about this spot. Can't wait to come back and explore the rest of the menu.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented . I ate half before I thought to snap a photo. My kids loved their pancakes. Service was fantastic and quick! Spot is clean with cute, simple decor.

I've been hoping a good brunch place would open in this area! Food was solid and portions were large. The coffee selections are great and very tasty! The decor is so chic and we had a view into the kitchen from where we sat , and it's extremely clean.

It is my first time eating a Mexican style brunch, the food is delicious especially waffles. I highly recommend blueberries matcha, not sweet . The customer service is very kind. Location at Mission st, if you don't want to pay a street fee, you can find parking space near Cayuga Ave

Empanadas

The food at this restaurant is truly delicious--you can taste the love and experience in every dish. The empanadas were perfectly crispy, with a rich and flavorful filling. The burger was cooked to the perfect temperature, and the French fries were well seasoned (I really appreciate good, flavorful fries!). Our server was very kind, and the place itself is cute and clean.

Dined in for brunch last weekend. So happy there's a new brunch restaurant! The BLT was good, they have a house sauce they use for the sandwich. The fries are soo good! It's seasoned really well, crispy on the outside, and fluffy inside. The white chocolate orange cream in the Heavenly French Toast was delicious. The staff was attentive and decor is nice.

Food and service were excellent, but seeing the old stained glass phone booth door (the sole identifying feature of the old DR's) painted over just about broke my heart.

Their food is excellent!! I enjoyed trying their delicious food and drinks in the heart of the Excelsior. The service was excellent and the staff we interacted with were kind. The restaurant is full of beautiful and tasteful decor. The drinks are on the sweater side so if you have a big sweet tooth, these drinks will be up your alley for sure.

Blueberry Matcha w oat

I was craving an iced matcha and saw that they offered a blueberry matcha. In general they had a good variety of drinks but I was set on the blueberry matcha. Truthfully, not my favorite. The matcha wasn't strong enough and I wish it had more blueberry foam rather than the grainy blueberry puree(?) that amounted at the bottom of the cup. I told the staff that it wasn't what I expected and they offered to replace it/refund. Which they didn't have to! I appreciate that they were so patient and nice about it. The woman at the register was very attentive and recommended me a horchata latte since I didn't really want the matcha anymore and it was absolutely delicious! I think their coffee based drinks really shine over their matcha items. Would definitely come back here again to try more drinks/food.

The open layout and elegant design make the whole experience feel luxurious and special. The service was also very attentive and friendly, which added to the overall experience. What was ordered: Calamari Fritos: If there's calamari on the menu, 100% I'm going to order it. If a restaurant can't batter or deep fried squids right, then you know something is wrong. Fortunately, it did not disappoint. So delicious. Combination Platter Enchilada and House tamales: Not worth the price. Just skip it. Dish lacks favor. Esquites: Not worth the price. Just skip it. Very bland. Crispy shredded beef taquitos: Not worth the price. Just skip it. There was no favor. Even the queso on top was favorless. Price: It's very expensive for bland Mexican food Parking: Decent. We came after 5:30pm and we did drive around a few times to find parking. Side note: We waited a month to eat here and was sooo disappointed. It wasn't bad but not worth the money or the wait. The flavors were just average and didn't justify the expensive prices. At this point, you're paying more for the ambiance, photos, service than the actual quality of the dishes.

Well, in December, that night finally came and oh, what a night. There wasn't a single bad bite. We got so much!! We ended the night with cannoli, which was truly chef's kiss. A place that lives up to the hype and then some. Very cute place and the best service ever I felt like we've known the waiter forever! We started off with the beet salad and warm focaccia with olive oil, garlic, and balsamic vinegar. The combination of hot bread with sweet, cool beets was a perfect contrast. The beets were perfectly cooked and came with crunchy, candied pecans over a light bed of whipped ricotta. I could not get enough, especially of the candied pecans. The focaccia was perfectly cooked and super light and fluffy. You can tell that the olive oil and balsamic vinegar are of the highest quality and the dip paired so well with the bread. For our mains, my husband got the rigatoni while I got the gnocchi carbonara (at the waiter's suggestion). Both of us were extremely happy with our choices. I'm used to getting gnocchi dishes that are super dense and doughy but in this dish, it was melting in your mouth. The infusion of the duck flavors really came through in the sauce and you had crispy meat sprinkled on top as well to give a contrasting texture to the rest of the dish. The rigatoni came with a couple of meatballs and sausages that you can tell are freshly made in house as they were tender and flavorful. The marinara sauce had a hint of sweetness with the tartness of the tomato sauce to balance it out. The pasta might have been a hair undercooked but it didn't make the dish any less delicious. For dessert, we ended with a chocolate tiramisu - a bed of moist, chocolate cake with a layer of coffee cream and cream on top, it was a delicious twist on the classic dish. We both agreed that we can't wait for our next visit back to Ofena!

For those of us who only eat outdoors, there are a few tables outside the bar that are pretty comfortable although it can get windy. From the minute we arrived, we were greeted with friendliness, all of the menus we might need, and an explanation of drinks, beer and wine. We chose to go all out and got a small pizza, their delicious onion dip, meatballs - more on that later - and buffalo wings. I was a bit disappointed that the happy hour wine was a Chardonnay and not the Ferentino that they let me taste, but the replacement house May logger was delicious. My husband had a steam beer, which was also very good. Throughout the service was impeccable, and we actually met the manager, Jon, who had a long conversation with us about the history of the bar and how they were trying to be a neighborhood comfortable place which they certainly have succeeded at. Now for the food - the meatballs were the best I have ever had in San Francisco and I am Italian from New York so that's saying something. We actually let Jon know who told the chef and it turns out the chef is from New Jersey so that makes a lot of sense. The onion dip is something like I've never had before. It's a crème fraîche with scallions I think? And maybe a bit of garlic and housemaid chips. We ate every single bite and actually dipped our pizza crust in the rest of the dip. The margarita pizza was also very good and as I finished it off for lunch today, I can tell you it's just as good the next day. The buffalo wings were what I would call actual buffalo style - I could taste the butter, hot sauce and garlic powder like back in the day on the East Coast. The chicken itself was good, not fatty, and the sauce was just like I want it. They offered ranch and blue cheese dip, which was great. We then had further conversations with almost all the staff who were so welcoming and friendly. We don't live super nearby, but I know we're going to go back to dinner, because I am dying to get their pork chop that looked really good. They also came and helped us put the stuff in boxes and explained the best way to take pizza home, which I never knew before. I can't wait to go back again
