The parking lot is small and shared with a couple of other businesses, most notably Conejo Coffee, a nice place to relax after your treatment. There are a few more parking spaces in the back and many more in nearby lots (though not recommended as they are for neighboring businesses). As a last resort, there are acres of parking across the street in the huge Target/Home Depot plaza. The place is small with only 3-4 private rooms brand, but as it is brand-new as of this review, (opened in February 2018) it is still very fresh and clean. Generally two masseuses on duty, the all female Asian staff offers both Thai and Swedish stye full-body massage, and while far from "therapeutic" the services offered by all is good for relaxation purposes. The ladies seem friendly and upbeat providing mild chatter, and a good command of the English language, so one can communicate easily any problems or guidance. The massages themselves are thorough and satisfying, and while I have personally experienced more therapeutic sessions from other businesses, this particular spa is so close to me, offers extended hours (10am-9pm 7 days a week) and rarely busy that I'm not complaining. The downside is that they charge a bit more (approx $10) than almost any other such spa in the Conejo Valley, and often there is only one staff member on duty, so if she has a client, one will have to wait and return (I was turned away twice but offered a discount rate both times for my inconvenience.). A simple appointment booking is a good idea just to be on the safe side. Tipping is highly appreciated but never demanded.

My masseuse said that the spa was purchased by the new owners about two months ago. The new owners really gave the shop a major facelift. The rooms are decorated beautifully and are really clean. Overall the whole shop seems brand new. Now to the massage! My masseuse was amazing! I always ask for a deep tissue massage since I have a lot of back pain. You can always tell if the masseuse is knowledgeable because I didn't even tell her where on my back I had the most pain. She commented that she could feel the knots that were the trouble spots. All in all it was the best massage I've had. I will certainly be back!

Her technique is not my usual deep tissue but for some reason, the peace and balance in my body lasted longer. She used oils as well, a very interesting Oregano oil to balance things. Really helped me. I did smell like an Italian kitchen with Mary Jane as chef the rest of the day, so I might save the oil treatments for before a bath, not work, but whatever she did - it really worked, I heartily recommend trying her, very sweet lady with an interesting technique - and come on - seriously? 7 AM? She assured me that her lotions should be fine. Later in the day I developed severe hives and itching to my lower legs and this worsened the next day. It was extremely painful. They made my mom pay upfront in cash only which was already super shady. The place is overall run down and gave more of a creepy vibe rather than relaxing. The massage therapist asked if I wanted to remove them, and I clearly said no but she pulled them down slightly anyway, exposing part of my lower back. That completely ignored my boundaries and made me feel really anxious and vulnerable. This was supposed to be a relaxing experience, but instead, I just wanted it to be over. You open the door and you are in the pool. The entire time I was receiving my facial a woman was yelling outside, teaching a class or something. Not at all relaxing. We were supposed to receive complimentary champagne with out package. It was only given to us when we asked and it was in cheap plastic cups, Andres no less. Not trying to be snoody, but it seems to me that if you are selling a bridal package it should be a little fancier, as this was a special day! I can drive to 7/11 anytime and get Andres and for a lot less than I paid today! I would suggest that Spectrum rethink this whole "day spa" approach. Spectrum does not have a day spa, Spectrum has some converted rooms, and in bad locations throughout the facility. I would also stop marketing packages for parties, because it was not enjoyable other than my friends and I know how to have a good time together... When we saw each other that is... I am disappointed that we even had to pay for that today. What a cluster! The girls working were very nice and that's why I gave it a star. Unfortunately, too many other factors outweighed the nice employees. If I were to rate my overall experience of the day... Well is there a way to give negative stars?
