I was not offered water, tea,or coffee like other high end spa's offer actually almost every spa! On that note I'll finish this topic with saying I saw another customer given a glass of champagne, that would have been nice.My daughter enjoyed her swedish spa treatment. I had the longest message they offer the girl was extremely nice but I didn't enjoy her sticking her fingers in my ears or squeezing my lymph glands under my armpits! I actually told her how much it hurt and she did it again! To top this unusual treatment I have very curly hair and she kept going through my hair as If I had straight hair.If you have curly hair you know how painful this is.I ended up in pain for weeks from my underarms I had to go to the doctors twice! My word of advice is tell them straight out don't squeeze under your arm, don't stick fingers in your ears and just leave your hair and I would say scalp alone. I did enjoy the products I purchased.

Complete with four different saunas, three hot tubs, a four-season pool and two relaxation yurts, we enjoyed our two-day spa circuit and never really got bored of the offerings. Having booked a massage and an evening at the villa, the whole kit and caboodle came to $390, tax in, for both of us. Compared to other deals in the area this was the best I could dig up. The serene outdoors aspect of the spa was definitely my favourite. Additionally, visiting while it was chilly but still warm enough to walk around in a robe made the experience that much better. I highly recommend doing your cold dip at some point in the waters by the fall and then relaxing in the hammocks slightly away from the other visitors. The massages varied for us- my mom loved her massage while I could have done without the dude farting the whole time (true story). That being said, the little heated yurts they use by the water for massages are down-right perfect. Finally, the villa we slept in was lovely. I truly recommend making the most of your visit and spending the night (they throw a second day of the baths in for free). While it's a pretty no-frills situation: no breakfast, shared bathroom and small room it's soooo nice to wake up and head back to the baths.

I almost never leave negative reviews, and when I do, there's usually a good reason. But this…read moreexperience was so unusual that I almost have to admire its creativity. Two weeks after my hair-cut appointment, I received a phone call informing me that we were "not a good fit." For a moment, I thought perhaps my hair had filed a complaint without telling me. I calmly asked why--not to argue or change anyone's mind, but simply to understand so I could learn something for future appointments. The answer? Still, "We're not a good fit." Apparently my assignment was to solve this mystery with no clues...and no stylist's notes. What made this especially disappointing was that this wasn't just a routine color appointment. We had spent considerable time discussing what I believed would be a long-term transition plan to gradually blend my colored hair into my natural gray using lower-chemical products. My understanding was that it would be a careful process that could take a year or two, with appointments lasting hours along the way. I left excited to begin that journey. So the unexpected phone call two weeks later was genuinely shocking. Looking back, perhaps we truly weren't "a good fit." That's perfectly okay. I wasn't looking for a friendship--I was looking for an experienced colorist who could guide me through this transition. If she had simply said, "I don't think I'm the right person for this project," I would have completely respected that. I just wish she had communicated more clearly and specifically and reminded me of the transition plan we had discussed so I could continue my search intelligently with another colorist. Instead, I was left wondering if my hair had committed a crime while I wasn't looking. One star for communication. Five stars for creating the only salon experience where I left needing a detective instead of a conditioner.
