Matt E. when you write a review rate it based upon your expectations for the type of establishment it is and not the fact that sinceYOU were the only WHITE guy in the place it deserved to be called ghetto. Take your arse to the "Hustler" club where you can hold your nose and head up high because you are among your kind. Now time for a true review thats not based upon not seeing other people the same color of my skin.
Oasis was a pleasant experience for myself and my group of friends who are of varying racial backgrounds. The block is littered with strip clubs and finding one that is absolutely perfect is wishful thinking, so good luck with that venture (shout out to Matt). My friends and I went into several strip clubs on one saturday night and came out of them severely disappointed and I mean severely. We stumbled upon Oasis because the guys out front were friendly and doing a hell of a PR job, so the two for one drink special peaked our interests, wallets and purses, and mouths. Once we got in we did not particularly like the first floor, mainly because it was crowded, dim, and the stage did not extend all the way to the end. We then proceeded upstairs and there were not any seats available because the dancers were occupying them, but the bouncer/security guard quickly handled that and we were all seated at the bar. I have to agree with Matt that the girls were not bad looking, in fact, many were quite attractive; however, there were a few girls (2) that needed to eat a few meals and try again. They were tagged with the nickname, "Tragic Kingdom". The bartenders were courteous, attentive, professional, and not to mention..cute. We did not feel that the club was ghetto in any way and there was definitely no rapping and I personally don't think that that would have even gone down. While we were there the manager/owner poured us a complimentary shot of absolute.
I plan to come back to Oasis for my friends bachelor party, since we had such an awesome time. read more
