I will say I am a coffee snob, and was unimpressed with the iced late offered here. I ordered a Caramel iced latte w/ oat milk and boba. The flavor was lacking, the boba was hard as fuck and the latte was deff watered down. 4/10. And I also got an apple fritter, which was pretty decent. 7/10. Came with my friend, got her a vanilla frappe w/ whip that she is not interested in finishing 7/10. She got a breakfast bagel as well, 10/10! First time here and this will be my last time here. The food is very plain. I ordered a breakfast plate which comes with egg sausage, bacon and hashbrown and supposed to have a croissant. The food is tasteless, the hash Browns are undercooked and not seasoned and it did not get my croissant. The person at the counter asked for my name. I'm not sure why. Where do I even start. The employees are all young high school kids in their pajamas that look like they just rolled out of bed... gross. I ordered two containers of plain cream cheese... that's it... and it took 15 minutes. It also took two of these said teenagers to wipe the containers because cream cheese had gotten all over them. Yeah when I got how the containers were sticky and looked like 50 toddlers had already dug in them. We used to love this spot before it changed owners, now it is just overpriced, slow, and gross. Lastly a few honorable mentions... the fans are caked in layers of dust that spin above the whole place... the teens wipe their hands on their pajama pants then proceed to make a bagel for 20 minutes. I had looked at Dunkin Donuts for bagels, but theirs were overpriced, small, and not so great looking. I also couldn't order enough of them for my group in the app, and I needed to be at the meeting early. Oasis Bagels is situated in a great location, by Estrella Lake, not too far. They open at 5:30 am and provide very prompt service. They have a case full of different home-made spreads and so many different bagels to choose from. They are a real hole in the wall bagel shop. The bagels were made fresh and were humongous. I got some extra spread just in case. My group was impressed with the size and selection of bagels as well. Cute little bagel shop near me, I just had to stop by to see what they offer. The service was good too. I called in my order and it was ready by the time I got there. I got their deli meat sandwich and it was really good. The only thing I didn't like about my sandwich was the lettuce, it was old and discolored. My husband got their ham/bacon and egg breakfast bagel and it was really good! No complaints there. I'm glad I decided to try this place because I can't wait to go back already. Pretty much the only legit bagel spot that exists in Goodyear - they are clearly baked fresh and when they are a day old the bagels are given out for free. The baker comes in at 2am every morning to make the bagels and you can tell the quality that is put in. Located in a plaza there is plenty of parking. You can bring a caravan of vehicles and have no issue with parking. Inside there are a few tables as well as outdoor seating. Everything is well lit, clean, and organized. Now for what you really want to read about, the food. On this visit I went a little overboard and had a Bagel breakfast sandwich (The Oasis Classic) on an everything bagel. It comes with not one but two eggs! And your choice of meat. I went with the Taylor Ham. The ham was just salty enough and had the slightest crisp, delicious. Eggs were perfect and the Bagel, OMG, I cannot tell you enough how amazing the bagels are here. I have honestly never had a bagel made to perfection like this. I also had the Crumb Cake, let me just say it was so good, I ordered a second one to take home with me. I also had a bagel dog which I warmed up later in the day for lunch. Made with an all beef dog wrapped in their spectacular bagel dough. I could eat this everyday. I also ordered a plan bagel and an egg bagel just to see if the breakfast sandwich was a fluke. Let me just say you cannot come here to just eat a bagel from Bagel Oasis, you come here to experience a bagel. They are baked fresh daily and come out so soft on the inside with a perfect thin crust. Do yourself a favor and visit, then repeat and visit often. I'm really sad that these guys changed their everything bagel seasoning they used to have sea salt in the mix and when I picked up my bagels yesterday and drove home to enjoy them I was disappointed. The salt rounds the whole bagel out, and this time around the bagels were well under cooked and not as browned as they usually are. Tonight was BBQ night at Oasis bagels. They co-partnered with a BBQ company (owners are from NM) and we were so impressed with the food including brisket sandwiches, ribs, and pulled pork. Homemade BBQ sauce and mac n' cheese with green chili and bacon was loved by my husband. Go there from 5-8pm on Friday nights and enjoy the best BBQ in town! Tuesday night is Taco night also from 5-8pm. I continue to be amazed and impressed by Oasis Bagels. They know how to treat their customers right and it's a happy place to come to... unlike Bad Bitchy Bagels (someone called them that and I couldn't agree more! LOL) located in Goodyear on Camelback and Litchfield. The key to customer satisfaction is simple - treat your customers right, provide delicious food, and keep a smile on your face. The service in the morning is much better than the afternoon service, but nothing to rave about. It is definitely slow, so if you are looking for quick service, don't come here. The bagels are not dense like you would expect a bagel to be, but that didn't bother me because they seem like good quality at first look. However, I ordered a blueberry bagel and it did not taste like blueberry at all. It just tasted plain. Also, the bagels are very dry, like another reviewer mentioned. The cold brew coffee has really good flavor. The last time I went, it was about 1:15 in the afternoon and there were 2 guys working (one of them couldn't have been older than 15). There were people at two tables and I was the only one ordering. I ordered a medium iced vanilla latte with whole milk and the kid taking my order said they only have "dairy, almond, and (some other milk)." So, I told him I wanted dairy milk... then he asked what I wanted again, so I told him a medium, iced vanilla latte. Then he asked if I wanted it iced. Then he asked if I wanted any flavor in it. The other guy came over and was coaching him through how to make the latte so I figure he was training so I wasn't really bothered by all the repeat questions. But then, he handed me my latte in a paper to-go cup that you would expect a soft drink to come in and it was probably about 8-10 oz. And there were 3 half-melted ice cubes in it. For $6+, I expected better. I love to support local, but won't be back here. read more
