I had a wonderful experience working with Rincon Property Management…read more Before choosing a property management company, I spent a lot of time researching my options and had several conversations with Kenya. From the very beginning, he was patient, knowledgeable, and understanding. He recognized my hesitation about hiring a management company and never made me feel pressured. Instead, he took the time to answer my questions thoroughly and helped me feel comfortable and confident in my decision. Kenya connected me with Dio, who turned out to be an excellent fit for both me and my property. Throughout the leasing process, Dio was incredibly professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. He provided thoughtful recommendations, communicated clearly, and helped guide me through each step. As a first-time experience working with a property management company, I learned far more than I expected. The experience gave me valuable insight into leasing, tenant screening, documentation, and overall property management. What stood out most was the team's responsiveness and willingness to answer every question I had. They listened to my concerns, respected my goals as a property owner, and worked collaboratively to find practical solutions. I always felt informed throughout the process. Another reason I chose Rincon was that the company felt personal rather than transactional. While I haven't yet had the opportunity to meet the owner, Peter, I appreciated learning about his background as a Fire Captain with the Ventura City Fire Department. As someone in the medical field, I value professionalism, service, and integrity, and I felt those values were reflected throughout my experience with the entire team. It's also inspiring to see someone successfully managing properties while serving the community. I truly enjoyed working with Kenya, Dio, and the Rincon Property Management team. They are professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely care about providing quality service. I would not hesitate to work with them again in the future and would absolutely recommend anyone considering property management to give them a call, ask questions, and see if they're the right fit for your needs. Thank you, Rincon Property Management, for making what could have been a stressful process such a positive learning experience. I hope to have the opportunity to work with you again.

If I could give 0 stars I would…read more I was a tenant for 5 years and as soon as Michele left they completely went downhill. Specifically in the last year or two I could never get ahold of Melanie (current property manager), ever. I would call and leave voicemails repeatedly, send multiple emails and finally Tristan would respond and say that Melanie had been on vacation or out of the office. This happened anytime I had an issue or question for them. It took weeks if not months to reach them and then even longer for them to do something about the issue. I had a roof leak and I had to call/leave voicemails and email them repeatedly until they finally answered, all while water was pooling in my ceiling. Also, they never even repaired the water damage inside the unit. I emailed Melanie two months before our lease was up to notify her we would not be renewing it and asking how much the last months rent would be (since it was only half a month). She told me she would get back to me about the amount and I never heard from her again. After multiple emails and calls, Tristan finally responded to me but didn't know what I was referring to. He said he checked with Melanie who was also unaware why I was asking.. This was 15 days before I moved out. I moved out almost a month ago and have still not received my security deposit. I had to call them 6 times over the span of three days and email them once to get an update, they finally responded asking for my forwarding address so they could send me the deposit. This was two weeks ago and I still haven't received it. Tristan is very nice and helpful when you can get ahold of him but I would not recommend renting from this property management company.
