The Jamaican-Canadian lady here is so slow, forgetful and will talk back to you. On Aug 18th, Friday afternoon, she made my family member wait 20 MINUTES for my Strawburst smoothie. I was at home taking care of my baby. When he asked her about the drink, she made it in 5 minutes. So she obviously forgot mine, or misplaced mine, and was making drinks for other customers' online orders!! But then, get this, she gives him the WRONG drink, LOL!!! We ordered Stawburst (strawberry) and she gave him a blueberry drink instead, the drink was BLUE-PURPLE So he had to go back and return it because I'm allergic to blueberries!! I knew it had blueberries b/c my tongue SWELLED. This is not rocket science! Then she argues it's Strawburst (strawberry drink). uh NO, THERE SHOULD BE NO BLUEBERRIES IN IT!!!! WOMAN, MY TONGUE FREAKING SWELLED!!! I think I know there are blueberries in it, lol. It's on the menu that there are NO blueberries, see my attached picture. Yet, she made the new drink and proceeded to put blueberries in it again, but luckily my family member stopped her. She argued back that blueberries go into Strawburst. No, it doesn't, lady. She remade it after my fam showed her what ingredients should go in the Strawburst by pointing to the store menu. DO YOU NOT KNOW YOUR OWN MENU???? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Beware this shop!!!!!!! If I end up at the hospital, I will sue this store!!! By the way, my Strawburst smoothie tasted horrible. I threw away my smoothie after a few sips. DON'T GO HERE. Waste of time, waste of money, drink tastes awful, and I have my phone in my hand ready to dial 911 if I start to lose breath. This lady should quit and find another job. We ordered a few lattes made with their in-house syrups, and every single one of them was incredible. We loved them so much we went back for them again and again over the weekend we were there. We also tried their chorizo burrito and donuts, which were both outstanding. I honestly want to go back to the island just to eat here again! The ambiance of the place is awesome. It is super kid-friendly outside, featuring a wonderful yard with plenty of toys and things to do, which makes it incredibly relaxing for families. Upon paying for them there were two workers, one asian guy who I think makes smoothies and another guy with darker skin and long hair who I believe does cashier and customer service. I wish I knew his name, he was SO informative and very knowledgeable. I always get the liquid L'Carnitine as it gets into my system fast, he told me I should be taking 2-4 tbsp. I didn't know that and only been taking 2tbsp since summer as it states that on the bottle. He also suggested to take the pills as it lasts longer and told me how much to take. He also shared his experience with pill formed L carnitine when he was prepping for his show last year. We also talked about nutrition and how I dislike salads. He told me I just need to find a good salad dressing and wrote a dressing recipe down for me as he loves salad and how he makes his salad and salad dressing from scratch. I have never experienced such customer service or knowledge until yesterday. I have been to many locations and the staff has always been helpful, but yesterdays experience was something else.
