Compared to a lot of smoothie bars that are kind of utilitarian, this place has a really nice interior that makes it a cool place to hang out while you enjoy your food. I seem to always run into the same staff member working here, she's very nice! The smoothies and the sweets here are delicious if you like health food. The smoothies come in interesting flavours and are made with good stuff. The protein bar, lemon bar, and black bean brownie all have that melt in your mouth texture and a rich natural flavour. They also have pre-made bowls and wraps here, which are good at the Yaletown location, but I haven't gotten any from here. read more

Really solid all-vegan spot on the Olympic Village periphery, specializing in juice and smoothies, but they also have bowls, wraps and sweet food items. I stopped in to grab their Tofu Benny Bowl ($13 plus tax) for breakfast. It's premade but they warm it up for you and it tastes reasonably fresh. You get a couple of big pieces of tofu, sautéed spinach, roasted herbed potatoes, and grilled bell peppers, all smothered in a delicious hollandaise sauce. Very satisfying, healthy and reasonably priced for what you get. Very friendly service and a nice, conveniently located spot. Recommended. read more

I've ordered the Original Acai bowl, and I've tried some of the other bowls as well via friends. Not a fan of the other ones, to be honest; that's just my personal preference though. The Original Acai bowl tastes great! The granola stands out the most, the actual acai bowl itself was only alright. Makes you feel super full though! That being said, I really disliked the Cauliflower salad. The texture of the bowl, in general, was very mushy--I feel as though some more crunch was really needed. This bowl made me realize how much I dislike onion: with every bite, the more and more I hated it. It's really a personal preference thing though, again, so not going trash it too much. I think I just really hate onion. Overall, the location is nice; nice atmosphere, lots of natural light. I used to love Glory Juice and was a frequent and loyal customer for many years but ever since the original owners sold it, the company has gone downhill. They reduced the size of the bottles to 12 oz from 16 oz but maintain a higher than average price (Juice Truck delivers more for less $) and they charge a recycling fee for bottles THEY AREN'T RECYCLING. In fact, their bottles are plastic and therefore not recyclable. (We all know the vast majority of plastic goes to the landfill.) You have to order $150 worth of juice before you get free shipping and all too often the deliveries don't arrive in the time window promised. Once a heavy box was left outside my apartment building, the guy didn't even buzz me. Sometimes the juice doesn't have the same consistent taste. They are also "out of stock" on standard items frequently and sometimes that isn't clear until you've placed the order. Oh sorry, we don't have that but you're paying anyway. Juice it up baby! I've always been a big fan of those fancy juices, but don't have the time or patience to make my own. Tried to juice myself some carrot juice just last week and it turned out pretty awful. Whenever I get the chance on my lunch breaks I like to walk over to Glory Juice Co. near my office to grab a warm or cold bowl, a healthy and delicious tasting juice or smoothie and some little extras! I first started visiting them a couple years ago to try their organic cold-pressed juice and fell hard! I love trying all the different flavors and learning about the benefits of each one, packed with nutritious ingredients. This week I went in to try their food items. I had always been curious but have just always opted for the drinks. I tried the Cauliflower + Chickpea bowl and holy moly was it ever filling. I only finished about half of the bowl for lunch as I was stuffed! The combo of the quinoa, chickpeas and delicious dressing, drool! I loved the spirulina hummus, pickled onions and cashew garlic dressing, it was the perfect touch, I would def order again! Looking for something else to nibble on? They have a few other bowls like the Warm & Hearty, Glorious Slaw, a few different toast dishes like my fav avocado toast, tons of salad options including my favorite the Slaw salad with turmeric ginger vinaigrette, and they even have healthy yummy soups! The soups come in the same beverage container so perfect to bring back to the office and heat up. They also have a few different cleanses to choose from! My fav part is all the different juices. I love going in the store and seeing the rainbow of colour and options to choose from. This review is based off their creamy nutty acai bowl & avocado toast only. I really liked the generous chunks of granola in the acai bowl. They didn't skimp on that and it balanced out the tartness of the blended berries. Avocado toast was flavorful and delicious, but it's more like a cracker than toast. It's pretty basic though, and almost something that could easily be made at home. I'd come back when I'm craving something healthy.. but not if I'm actually hungry. Not sure when they actually opened, but walked by the other day and had to go in and take a peek. Never been to the other 2 locations before but this Glory Juice's decor is nice! Kinda similar in style to all the other juice bars that have been popping up all around the city. We tried two acai bowls. The 'regular' one and the green one. Liked the green one more as it had slightly more flavour to it. They are pretty filling, packing them with lots of granola, goji berries, nuts. Not quite like the acai bowls you can get from Hawaii with tonnes of fresh fruit on top, but they do give you sliced banana. Overall really good but at a steep price at $12 per bowl. One thing is that their website needs to be updated. It still says 'opening soon' for this new location and it would be nice if they listed their in store menu items so that people know about the acai bowls and the smoothie options. I can't totally fault them as this seems to be the case with a few other juice bars as well! read more

Glory Juice itself is AMAZING. This location however is extremely disappointing. I have visited several times and they are always out of stuff, don't offer upgrades (like hummus) and don't share promo deals (free granola or nut butter with gift card purchase). Good thing my first experience with Glory Juice was the West 4th location...they are awesome!!! I'll write them a separate review after. Had East 2nd been my first visit I may not be back. The staff don't seem as experienced or maybe they just don't care. I have been there multiple times and it actually keeps getting worse. It's too bad because it's the closest one to me. I will have to go out of my way to go to 4th or Davie. Besides being out of things all the time and not sharing promos my last Warm and Hearty was bland AF. I've never wanted to put salt in anything from Glory but the bowl I had on the weekend tasted like water. Great company. Crappy location. read more

This is a tough place to review. Pros: Juicing game is strong. I've tried most of the green juices. #1 is straight-up veggies so when you drink it, expect that, not some fruity paradise. The other green juices have some fruits so are a bit sweeter. The tumeric & ginger shot is delicious and a great pick me up. I'm not sure what the E3 shot does (something about mental clarity) but I felt pretty good after. Their smoothies are also very tasty. I've had the chocolate nutter. So good (and kindasorta good for you!). Really great quality. Cons: Prices. Two juices and 2 shots and I was out $40. Also, the avocado toast is more avocado crispy flatbread. It didn't create the best experience and was a little tasteless. But overall, my main con is the prices. I'll land this review on 4 stars. While the prices really hurt, you do have to pay for quality, and it's hard to find good cold pressed juices in the city. read more

Came here on a Thursday morning/afternoon for acai bowls with a girlfriend. It's both our first time trying the acai bowl at Glory Juice so we had high expectations as a friend recommended us to try this place. I ordered the sweet tropical acai bowl while my friend ordered the creamy nutty acai bowl. The mango flavour was definitely present in my bowl but we failed to taste the glory nut butter in the creamy nutty. Very expansive. I bought #7 juices with beets/carrot/celery/ginger/burdock/lime. I had stomach upset the next morning, apparently was from the beets. I told the worker there I have gastrointestinal issues, want something to help it. She recommended me #7 drink. The granola they put in the acai bowl is really yummy I wish they added more granola than there was (even though there was a lot). Although it is pricey, you get what you pay for. Most of the things they use are high end VERY natural products which is awesome! When I was in the shop, I saw most people ordering the drinks. The only glory I experienced was the glorified wait. There were two staff behind the counter. One was busy making someone's order and the other was checking inventory or something. I don't mind waiting but I stood there for a long time without being acknowledged. A simple " Ill be right with you or thank you for your patience " would have prevented me from walking out the door. Glory Juice Co Vancouver opened their newest location near Olympic Village on Quebec and West 2nd Avenue. It is just around the corner from Earnest Ice Cream. I am so glad to have Glory Juice Olympic Village opened since it is on the way from from spin classes. The original 4027 MacDonald Street shop was simply too far! I love the space inside. It has high ceilings with a bright airy space. The wooden benches are so comfortable with an angled back. There are a lot of fresh organic cold press juices and organic nut milk beverages available. I like that they have samples for tasting and also smaller baby bottles. Glory Juice has a lot wide range of flavors from the green's green, bright citrus tasting ones to sweeter fruity juices. #17 Beet Apple Burdock 10.95: a bright and sweet cold press juice. It is a great starter juice if you've never tried cold press juices or juice cleanses before. Although it is a little expensive. It is worth every penny. read more

I'm a huge fan of glory juice's acai bowls and smoothies, but I just had to stop coming to this location due to the inconsistencies in my orders. Every time I order the nutty acai bowl, it doesn't taste the same as the last one. Also, the smoothie consistencies vary almost every time I stop in. When I first came here 2 years ago and ordered these things, they tasted amazing! I came in the morning and ordered two Acai bowls to go. While waiting I noticed a worker in the back prepping the juices in a tank top with his arm pits completely exposed. He was also coming to the front and socializing. The first thing I thought of was this is a health and safety thing, you should not be prepping in the back with your armpits out. Anyway.. I came home to open one of my Acai bowls and saw a small black hair tangled in the banana. I immediately called and asked to speak to the manager but she wasn't in so I spoke with the team leader, Mackaela instead. She assured me the manager would take this seriously and call me back.
