Needless to say, my daughter was devastated and I was extremely upset. We went elsewhere to then get the braces out on again and now had to receive oral surgery under anesthesia to fix the problem. The second daughter has braces for 2 years and when removed, there was an obvious spade between 2 top teeth. We were told the retainer would close the space. CLEARLY, that didn't happen so my second daughter was also now back in braces. When a refund was requested for the $5200, it was flatly DENIED. Do NOT go to this dental office for anything.

We originally booked our second cleaning appointments for February 2025 at 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. Closer to the date, we were informed the office had changed its hours and could no longer honor our evening times -- their latest appointment is now 5:00 p.m. This was already frustrating, as most working professionals need providers who offer after-hours care. I considered switching providers then but decided to give them another chance. We rescheduled and took time off work for appointments on 4/23/25 at 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. Taking time off of work means that we both had to request time from our bosses, and then take back those times and ask for different days -- something no boss appreciates, especially on short notice. Days before, my partner received a cancellation text saying the office would be closed entirely that day. I never received a cancellation notice for my 4:00 p.m. slot. I called on 4/14/25 and spoke with Geneva, who explained the dentist had a personal matter and the backup dentist was unavailable. I requested a call back, and Christina (the manager) returned my call -- she's always been kind and professional, and I know this situation wasn't her fault. Christina promptly emailed over our records at my request (she originally sent us our records back in February when I considered taking our business elsewhere but then wanted to give them another chance). Still, as new clients, this is our second cancellation -- and it's unacceptable. At this point, I have no confidence they'll keep any future appointments. We'll be going to another dentist in Kyle that offers more reliable and flexible hours. The Dentist at Plum Creek is a service business, and as such, client service matters. Communication, reliability, and accommodation are essential. Repeated cancellations and a lack of backup plans hurt patient trust and reflect poorly on business operations. My feedback to management: Consider reinstating evening hours to accommodate working professionals. Other providers in Kyle offer appointments as late as 7:00 p.m. If your main and backup dentists are both unavailable, a third option should be in place so patients don't get dropped last minute. For anyone experiencing similar issues, Christina manages the Kyle location and Ankita is a supervisor (email: manager@dentistatplumcreek.com). Before trusting the high reviews here, filter by lowest rating to see the full picture. If this has happened to us twice, I doubt we're alone, but most people don't leave reviews sadly. Dr. French removed a tooth of mine that could have easily been saved had she been more diligent in her treatment. I had some concerns with her plans for an implant on the tooth pulled. I reached out to a few specialists who advised me against the plan Dr. French had. I called her to try and address the difference in the plan for treatment. She told me that I am not a good fit for her practice and that I should find a new dentist. Having a tooth pulled is not the most pleasant experience and it left me feeling defeated and just kind of sad, honestly. I hope Dr. French shows more compassion in the future for those who are feeling unsure and maybe even insecure about what they are going through. Teeth are a big deal. Dentists should know this and be empathetic towards how their patients are feeling. Again I want to thank Dr. French for dismissing me as her patient.

Dr. Ross is genuinely so kind and caring, the hygienist, and all the techs are just so wonderful. Dr. Ross does a DAMN good job. When I went for my 1st appt about a month ago I had something wrong with almost every tooth. I just had my third appointment today, and I am actually smiling again because I have gained my confidence back. We still have work to be done, but instead of dreading it I am looking forward to it! Their pricing is super fair, I have been ripped off in the past. The receptionist is so sweet, their entire office staff are top notch! I will now be bringing my 13 year old here and recommending them to anyone who will listen! They also got me in RIGHT away, never a wait time. Dr. Ross is quick yet very efficient, got some extra work done because he had time, he is so so caring, his work is impeccable, and I still have temporary crowns! Appointments are really easy to get and they're flexible if you need to cancel. I like that they put Netflix on for you while you wait or are being worked on. It eases some anxiety over someone working in your mouth. I think they work with relatively new hygienists and assistants and I enjoyed the pleasant conversation between my assistant and the doctor yesterday while my teeth were being cleaned. It showed a real camaraderie between them and the excitement of the assistant with all she's learning. The doctor was a little behind but again, having something to watch kept me entertained. They're a great service and I'm glad it's not too far from home.

The rooms are clean, well lit, and situated with modern equipment. They let you choose what Netflix movie to watch (careful to choose a laughter filled comedy with your mouthful). It was first appointment with this office, so it was extended, but the digital, full mouth scan was useful for ordering a night guard. No gooey mouth-mold for me! The hygienist, dental assistants, and even billing folks were all outgoing and friendly. The dentist was gregarious and thorough, and I feel that they really care.
