This is the second location that has turned me down when I get to my scheduled appointment. I scheduled an appointment got there 20 minutes before like I was told. When I get there a person named Sam Contreras tells me I can't be seen and that the call center should not be making appointments! So who is supposed to be making appointments? I was also told on another visit to have a test done and that it was covered by my insurance. Well I later get a bill for $198 and an apology for the office for giving me an accurate information thank you but that didn't help me pay my bill!!! read more

I came back from mexico with a suspected parasite (my son too). they tested if I was pregnant, not even bothering to test if I had anything remotely viral or bacterial. I spent the whole day there and I am still sick. this stupid doctor NAJJIR cannot do her job properly. I have to say this is the best Clinic I have ever been to. I'm not joking literally the best ever. And I'm 62 years old. Jenny was the original doctor and she was incredible that I saw and she transferred out and now I see Dr Cheyenne casas. Absolutely amazing personality and very thorough and possibly the most knowledgeable family doctor I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. To say she cares about her patience is an understatement three times she has called me on her personal time from her house to let me know about certain tests that have been done. Fortunately all we're good news but just the fact that she called me on her time was amazing. Also got to give a thumbs up to everybody else that works there the nurses the front receptionists are all very knowledgeable and helpful. I'm new to the area but have been with Baylor for 6 years, since my first child was born. I was pleased to see that Baylor offered clinics in this area so I could have continuity of care for my kids and myself. I've called what I thought was the office a few times for help and have learned that it's more of a calling center. On one occasion, my husband broke his finger. I called to see if this is something that they could care for at their office and was told yes. When he visited, they didn't know why he was there and couldn't do much to help other than a referral. Perhaps a referral was what we ultimately needed to get him the right care, but the fact that the conversation as to why he was even there didn't get saved someplace was concerning for me. Another time, one of my children was ill and I made an appointment for her thought the app. The day of my child's appointment, her sibling had fallen ill. I called the office to see if they could be seen together and was told no, id need a separate appointment that wasn't available for a few days. I made the appointment for my other child then shortly thereafter received a call from the office asking if I'd like to combine their appointments with the original appointment. Ummmm...yes I would. I don't expect the office to change their policies for me or my family but when it seems like I'm talking to two different unrelated people/groups, it's a bit frustrating. Their website says that they take walk ins but when my son got hurt falling in our home, they wouldn't see him and said walk ins aren't allowed. I wish they'd update the website/app to reflect that so I could have taken him someplace else sooner. The staff here is nice but I'm not sure that we will stay with this clinic. read more

i have always found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean and the wait is never long. The Doctor, especially Dr. Casas is patient and listens to what ails me. she has helped me through some stressful situations.i highly recommend her and Baylor Scott and White facilities. read more

This review was not for the doctor or the clinic itself. A nice young lady I spoke to regarding canceling appointments. I let her know in the nicest way possible why I was not coming back for the next three appointments that were scheduled. The doctor rushed through my appointment and then prescribed me medication that was contraindicated for somebody with the health issues that I have. i'm also a CNA by the way. For 27 years. I recently became disabled so I can no longer work with my wonderful patients. But back to the whole reason, I'm writing this. A young lady that I spoke to, her name was Jamesha. She was so patient, understanding, and a great listener. She also knows her job in and out. When she first picked up the phone, she had the sweetest way of just welcoming me to chat with her. I talked to her for probably a good 20 minutes. I was letting her know all the reasons why I was not coming back and that please forward, my reasons, but in the nicest way possible. She was the sweetest thing ever. I hope Baylor Scott & White Clinic in Kyle knows what an asset she is to them. Most people that are on the phone at doctors offices are moving so fast because they have to get to the next person that they don't really care. They're listening to the problem. Because they're always understaffed. I can say this because I know it's a fact since I've been working in the medical field for 27 years. anyway I wanna make sure this young lady is noticed her great work kindness, and great listening skills. Very disappointed in my experience at this clinic last week. First, when I called to make the appointment the scheduler has a hard time verifying my benefits. She put me on hold 3 times and had to call their benefits office. She finally told me that while it should be in-network I may have to pay $160 for the visit...what??!! Against my better judgment I accepted the appointment, called BCBS to confirm they were in-network and went to the clinic. First, the parking lot was empty. I mean there was no one there except staff. I thought this was very odd. The facility is new and very beautiful! I waited what I thought was a long time to be seen considering there was not even one other person there. They do all their paperwork electronically so once I was escorted to the treatment room the nurses aide began to ask about my history. It was so strange though, she asked about previous surgeries but didn't ask dates or details of those events. No family history was asked and she was confused on one of the meds that I take. She was nice though. Once again I waited for another 10 minutes for the doctor to come in. The doctor read what the assistant had put in the system but still didn't ask details that I feel would be helpful for a new patient there to establish a new primary care physician. I had a complaint about allergies and post nasal drip. Dr. Gordon's only response was that everyone is suffering from allergies. Really?! She made no adjustments or recommendations on the at-home remedies and OTC meds I was taking. When I left I paid my copay and walked out to the empty parking lot (still not a single other person there on a Friday afternoon). As I was getting in the car I realized that I had left my prescription at the front desk when checking out. When I walked back in she said oh you forgot your paper and grabbed it out of a bin she had placed it in. She had made no attempt to see if I was in the parking lot or call me or anything. I mean it was literally the time I walked to my car and back in and she had simply placed it to the side. I mean, I've had baggers at H-E-B run out to the parking lot to give me something I'd left in a bag before but this lady couldn't walk 10 feet to the door to see if I was in the parking lot?? Anyway, if you want someone who will listen to you and address your medical concerns, I'm afraid Dr. Gordon is not that kind of physician. That might be why the parking lot is empty at 1:30p on a Friday afternoon. read more

Our first time here, just moved to Kyle from Round Rock Scott&white area and clinics. We saw Dr Gordon for my 15year olds sports physical and yearly well check visit. She was friendly and fantastic! We keep her as our new primary physician. read more

My wife visited this new clinic and hated the experience. The female doctor barely looked her in the eye, just reading questions from her laptop. My wife said she felt a lot of her concerns were ignored. No personable interaction at all. She was the only one in the clinic, so the doctor could have had time for her. Then, to top it off. My wife was told to take a urine test. In another room, the nurse asked why the doctor had asked for the urine test to test my wife if she was pregnant, my wife had her tubes tied 10 years ago! We both work in the health and wellness industry, we recommend to our clients; businesses that take the time to look after patients. Baylor Scott and White is not one of them. read more

I would avoid this clinic at all costs. In particular Dr. Casas. She grew up dreaming of becoming the town doctor. I think that was so she could kill off who she wanted in her town!! She needs her license stripped after someone I love went in for high blood pressure. The patient also has been diagnosed as suffering from PTSD as well as severe anxiety and panic disorder for years (due to Covid patient wasnt able To take someone for support/comfort like usual) Upon arrival patients blood pressure was so high they were moved to a dark room to lay down. Patient begins to have a panic attack. Doctor walks in and sees patient covered in sweat and shaking. As they talk she believes nothing he is telling her. She has decided he's in alcohol withdrawal. The patient has not had any alcohol In over a year. She tells the patient she will not prescribe high bp medication because he drinks alcohol (doesn't) and smokes marijuana. If this is the case then none or very few of her patients would be on them. She was told about a prior very serious medical condition ....DVT. Patient's leg had been hurting, was swollen and had redness. She said he never had that in the past (WHAT??). That same patient now is in the care of a real doctor and these potentially life threatening problems that Dr. Casas decided to play God with are now being greatly looked into with labs, ultrasounds, etc. AVOID this doc. We have had a bad experience with this clinic. My wife went in for physical therapy. The co pay was 15 dollars. She handed the card to them and instead of charging 15 dollars they charged 150 dollars. They issued a refund at this encounter and said it will take a few days to be returned on our debit card. Multiple calls and 15 business days later the money still has not been returned. As of today the 8th of May I received a call from them. They are in the process of mailing a check to me. I will update here as to the date I receive the check. Check has been received in the 12th. The original charge occurred on the 10th of April. It took a little over a month to receive the refund. It should not take this long for a charge that occurred by using my debit card. I have upgraded the rating to average. Services are fine - accounting is not. July 5th 2018 - updating to 4 stars. I moved to Kyle recently and went in to this clinic a day ago to get an annual exam. Simple, easy, covered by all insurances, exam. I was worried about incurring any extra costs, so I called my insurance to make sure of what they would cover, called the clinic to make sure I would not be getting any extra tests that wouldn't be covered. In particular, I was worried about getting blood work done, and called, repeatedly, the billing and estimation department to do my due diligence so that I didn't get taken advantage of. Shortly after walking in the office to check in, I was slapped with a $100 bill. Strange, thought I, I thought it was a federal mandate that simple wellness checks were covered by even the most basic insurance. I was treated with a surprised attitude when I wanted that bill forwarded to the insurance I have on file. In the doctors office, I asked whatever questions I had, was told I should have a blood test run and repeatedly asked what the cost would be. No one would tell me. No one would call the billing department or make any effort to find out. I was treated with a dismissive attitude and told I could just have those tests run elsewhere, which I knew would either be another office visit or an extra cost. Like a calf to slaughter, I just went along with it. The constant litany of 'Your insurance should cover it' chanted by the doctor, nurses, and receptionists. Since then I found out that every question I asked in the office was slapped with an extra charge, and that bloodwork I did not request and didn't need was ordered. I've been on the phone with the clinic, the main billing department, customer service and my insurance company for two days, with the end result being that I'm getting charged $800 for a simple wellness exam. And that not a single soul of the 14 individuals I spoke to over the phone and in person would tell me a cost, estimated or otherwise, prior to any of the tests run, with or without my consent. This is morally wrong and legally ambiguous. I will never return here, and would recommend anyone to avoid this clinic read more

I went here yesterday and saw a new doctor. Dr.Gordon is fantastic! The Family Physician we had in Kyle was terrible, so we have been looking for a while to find a better one. Dr. Gordon is super she is so kind, caring, and she spent a great deal of time going through my whole medical background. I really feel I can trust her with my medical care. Keep looking if you think service will get better the more you go. It doesn't. Some of today's medical staff seem to forget that they are in the business of CUSTOMER SERVICE. That especially shows in the doctors at this location. The nurses are great- especially Crystal and the blonde phlebotomy lab nurse. If they could be totally responsible for my care, I'd feel reassured in continuing to come here. As for the doctors though- flat out rude, uncaring, unconcerned, and love running tests that you don't need/want and they won't even tell you about unless maybe if you ask. I don't get it since there's hardly ever anybody here- why would the dr feel the need to rush you out of the exam room like they have other patients to see when they clearly don't??!! Because like I said, they're just RUDE. But maybe your experience will be better than mine and others who have posted similar reviews here. Experiences at other Baylor Scott and White facilities have been very similar to this one with the rude, uncaring doctors and most other rude staff. 2 stars because of the two sweet, caring, friendly, and concerned nurses I mentioned at this location. read more
