I don't know how she does it, but she manages to get these unposed, couldn't-have-planned-them-better moments. I first met Rose a couple of years ago at the Jeni's Yelp event, and she took my favorite photo ever. Emma Parker did not follow our agreed upon back-lit lighting so both the portrait shoot and the…read morere-shoot failed. I was standing in direct sunlight for almost all of the shots. She was also too apathetic to tell me that my tie was messed up. (I asked her to alert me to grooming issues). This ruined multiple shots. Her hourly rate ($350.00 an hour) is a gross overcharge for the mistakes that she made. She has been totally disagreeable about resolving the issue in mediation, discussion or any other method. She refuses to appear on Judge Judy, Judge Jerry or The People's Court for refusing to keep her business promise of a third shoot based on nonfactual and comical reasons. The matter remains unresolved not that she can admit fault, tell a customer "I'm sorry" or make amends which would go a long way.
