Particularly since I don't particularly like having my photograph taken. I know Megan from six months or so ago when my firm got the bright idea of redoing all our professional photography. "Candid photos", as if a photographer stalking you from six feet away with a huge telephoto lens while you attempt to get work done results in a more "natural" photograph of you. That being said, Megan is the kind of photographer you want if you have to put up with that sort of thing. She's friendly, down-to-earth, cheery and affable, and has a way of putting you at ease and getting you to relax. I'm sure she would be great with those of you who actually want your photograph taken, as well. Oh yeah, she was also the lead photographer for the recent bicentennial book on Columbus, "Revealed: Columbus". This past weekend our daughter got married and Jessica was the photographer. We just saw a sneak…read morepeak, and all I can say is, "Wow!". Every photo is just gorgeous and I can't wait to see the rest of the photos. From start to finish, Jessica has been amazing. My daughter and son-in-law loved her from first contact. The engagement shoot she did for them was amazing. She captured their relationship and personalities perfectly. Upon meeting her I completely understood their feelings. Not only is she a terrific photographer, but she's an incredible person. Funny, friendly and professional, she seemed to be everywhere at once. Jessica kicks ass…read more If you are in the market for a wedding photographer, be careful. They are literally all over, everywhere, on your wedding day. Don't risk hiring a crappy photog who may crap all over this extremely expensive day. Jessica was great, and she did a great job. She is a pleasure to be around, and the pictures are top-notch. I get compliments all the time on the pictures. Basically, if Jessica has time in her schedule for your event (whatever it is), you need to take advantage of the privilege of having Jessica shoot your event.

Rose is the best photographer in Columbus!…read more I think every photographer has their own specialty, and Rose's gift is capturing magical moments. I don't know how she does it, but she manages to get these unposed, couldn't-have-planned-them-better moments. I first met Rose a couple of years ago at the Jeni's Yelp event, and she took my favorite photo ever. She captured the exact moment when I met Jeni -- and you can see every bit of excitement and nervousness as this fanboy met his crush. Since then, I've hired Rose several times for work and personal, and everyone is completely thrilled with the results. She also donates her precious time once a quarter to help photograph our Columbus SOUP events -- where she truly captures the joy and the spirit of the events. I love Rose, and I adore her photography. One of these days when I get around to planning my own wedding (wasn't there a movie about a 7-year engagement?), you know who I'll be calling.

She has personally done event photography for an organization I work with as well as my friend's one year old's portraits. Flix Photography took the pictures for my sons graduation and let me say I could not be more…read morepleased. The photo shoot was very professional with both indoor and outdoor pictures. My son had 4 outfits for his shoot and it took approximately 2 hours. And it was a 2 hours well spent. When we went back to see the proofs, the DVD presentation was nothing but amazing. He made my son look like a model. I couldn't believe how he truly captured who my son was through a picture. It actually brought tears to my eyes. Actually more than just brought tears to my eyes, it was a water works session that night. The DVD had all of the pictures my son had taken ( I would say anywhere from 50 - 75 pictures). It was put to the music that my son loves. And it was just perfect. From there I was able to pick the pictures I wanted for print. Which was so hard to do because they were all GREAT! The packages offered at Flix Photography are comparable to any other photography studio so no complaints there. I am so happy we decided to go with Flix Photography. I cannot recommend him enough!
