I don't know how she does it, but she manages to get these unposed, couldn't-have-planned-them-better moments. I first met Rose a couple of years ago at the Jeni's Yelp event, and she took my favorite photo ever. She captured the exact moment when I met Jeni -- and you can see every bit of excitement and nervousness as this fanboy met his crush. Since then, I've hired Rose several times for work and personal, and everyone is completely thrilled with the results. She also donates her precious time once a quarter to help photograph our Columbus SOUP events -- where she truly captures the joy and the spirit of the events. Ashley was even a big help at the ceremony, directing traffic and sometimes not so cooperative family members without being impolite, exactly what we needed. The pictures from both our engagement session and wedding turned out wonderful, as the business continues to grow I expect the prices to go up a little more, so if you can and you're looking for a photographer I would book soon, as they still are more reasonable than many, many others in the area. I gave Rebekah a call (actually, I sent her bf a Facebook message), and she was happy to help me! Before the event, Rebekah asked for my expectations and the types of shots I wanted. We talked through the two events she was photographing, and we both felt good about them. She showed up early for the event and quietly got to work capturing some amazing shots of the event. Then, she left the first event in Dublin and traveled to the second one in Grandview. She beat me there and got right to work. I just opened my photos from the events, and they are spectacular. I know Rebekah's Facebook and website don't boast a lot about her event photography, but I think that's where she shines. She really captured the spirit and the joy in both events, and the photos will be fantastic marketing tools for me and the businesses featured. I'm really impressed with Rebekah's photography, and I had such a great experience working with her. What pushed me to write this review is based on how Chris managed his interaction with the headshot photo shoot. The lack of integrity in how he manages his business left me feeling super jaded and defeated after our session. It's important that other clients/customers are aware of his practices prior to trying out a shoot with Chris. What really got me is when he refused to redo them or offer a refund for the shots. You will think that if a client/customer hates their headshot that much, you will naturally want to work with them, give that the images/portraits/photos are a reflection of your work!! He didn't use a reflector and wasn't willing to work with me on the angles to make the pictures look professional. From the beginning, I was super specific about what I was looking for. I needed professional headshots for my webpage, hired Chris to do them, he sent the pictures back within an hour, and I was really disappointed in the images. My whole team agreed that the portrait headshots turned out terrible. The only pro: He's communicative, and responds right away. I will give him that. Attached the images to reflect the quality of the work. Finding someone else who can redo the Headshots that I need. Please be mindful and caution when working with him.
