I gave Rebekah a call (actually, I sent her bf a Facebook message), and she was happy to help me! Before the event, Rebekah asked for my expectations and the types of shots I wanted. We talked through the two events she was photographing, and we both felt good about them. She showed up early for the event and quietly got to work capturing some amazing shots of the event. Then, she left the first event in Dublin and traveled to the second one in Grandview. She beat me there and got right to work. I just opened my photos from the events, and they are spectacular. I know Rebekah's Facebook and website don't boast a lot about her event photography, but I think that's where she shines. She really captured the spirit and the joy in both events, and the photos will be fantastic marketing tools for me and the businesses featured. I'm really impressed with Rebekah's photography, and I had such a great experience working with her. Here are a few specifics of what I loved: -She asked for expectations upfront. -She arrived on time and didn't need much direction. -She walked the fine line of being part of the event but also blending into the background; sometimes photographers are so noticeable that people won't let their hair down and act natural. I did a lot of research on newborn photographers before we booked anything prior to the birth of our baby. We decided to go with Lynn Leitch Photography because of the multiple recommendations we received from other mom's on Facebook, the quality of her work, and her reasonable prices. We knew we wanted to purchase the digital photos from the session so that we could print our own photos and this was something Lynn offered that not all photographers do! She kept in constant contact with us leading up to our due date and was quick to answer any and all questions I had. She sent out an online questionnaire ahead of time to learn more about the style of photos we were looking for (including color schemes and any specific poses we wanted to include) in order to prep for our session. She also sent a reminder email the day before (#mombrain is SO real) and a prep guide which gave instructions on how to get the baby ready before the session and what to expect during and after the session as well! The studio is located in her home which is located conveniently in Hilliard. She has dedicated space in her home where the family was able to get ready which included snacks and toys to keep big brother occupied! After the sibling and family photos were taken at the beginning of the session, my husband was able to take my son to a park which was only a few minutes away while Lynn finished shooting our newborn photos as well. Lynn was extremely patient, kind and caring on the day of our session. Our 2 year old son was less than cooperative during the shoot and you never would have known based on how amazing the sibling photos turned out. Even though our baby stayed awake nearly the entire session, we never felt rushed. Lynn took her time to get beautiful shots, and was patient while we took multiple breaks so that I could feed the baby. She was also very understanding and let this very tired momma relax on the couch and get some rest while she focused on the baby! All in all, I am so happy that we went with Lynn and I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a newborn photographer in the Columbus area!

Don't risk hiring a crappy photog who may crap all over this extremely expensive day. Jessica was great, and she did a great job. She is a pleasure to be around, and the pictures are top-notch. Basically, if Jessica has time in her schedule for your event (whatever it is), you need to take advantage of the privilege of having Jessica shoot your event.

Again...buyer beware.
