She kept them entertained and smiling the entire time. She brought "back up" such as bubbles and chalk for if the kids needed a minute. The patience and understanding of children she has is tremendous. Her ideas for where to take the photos and her props were original and creative. I HIGHLY recommend this photographer. We will definitely be using her again.

I was referred to Courtney for boudoir photography by a coworker and after seeing her photos I knew…read morethat it would be a perfect gift for my husband. Courtney and I had a consultation a week prior to the shoot, and it was then she calmed my fears about being next-to-nude in front of the camera and helped me decide on my outfits without breaking the bank. (Turns out I had a lot in my closet already!) Courtney's home studio is the perfect set up for a boudoir shoot, I felt very comfortable. It had only been a year since the birth of our first child - and I had fluctuated greatly in my weight but now that I have the photos back, I see now what my husband sees when he looks at me. I love the photos and so does my husband! He even keeps one of the albums on his night stand! I loved working with Courtney, so professional and kind! This will definitely not be the last time I work with her.

We went all over Chicago taking pictures for hours and I was shocked when I saw how they turned out. Her ability to capture a candid moment is unreal, and she focuses on the raw beauty of a photo instead of refinishing it to the point where you don't recognize yourself. Check out her website, she is just getting started, so I would go to her while you can still afford her, because she is AMAZING, and will probably hit mainstream before we know it!

(Full disclosure: I knew Rebekah as a friend before hiring her as a photographer.)…read more I found myself in a pinch needing a photographer for multiple Yelp events in one night, and it dawned on me that Liz M had mentioned our friend, Rebekah, was doing photography for her cookbook. I gave Rebekah a call (actually, I sent her bf a Facebook message), and she was happy to help me! Before the event, Rebekah asked for my expectations and the types of shots I wanted. We talked through the two events she was photographing, and we both felt good about them. She showed up early for the event and quietly got to work capturing some amazing shots of the event. Then, she left the first event in Dublin and traveled to the second one in Grandview. She beat me there and got right to work. I just opened my photos from the events, and they are spectacular. I know Rebekah's Facebook and website don't boast a lot about her event photography, but I think that's where she shines. She really captured the spirit and the joy in both events, and the photos will be fantastic marketing tools for me and the businesses featured. I'm really impressed with Rebekah's photography, and I had such a great experience working with her. Here are a few specifics of what I loved: -She asked for expectations upfront. -She arrived on time and didn't need much direction. -She walked the fine line of being part of the event but also blending into the background; sometimes photographers are so noticeable that people won't let their hair down and act natural. Rebekah was perfect! -Her photos really tell the story of the events--nothing posed and cheesy. -The turnaround for getting the photos back was really fast--the next day! This was my first time working with Rebekah, but it most certainly won't be my last. She is an absolute joy, and her work is stellar.
