He had a pleasant personality and chats with you while he's setting up. He remembers my profession and relates stories about his nephew, who is also in my field. He isn't pushy, trying to make me get procedures that really aren't necessary. The previous dentist I went to (only once) told me I had seven cavities (out of nowhere!) that needed to be filled immediately. When I went to Dr. Cajiao, he saw only one small spot on a back tooth; he said it didn't seem to be problematic, so I could either get the filling at that time or wait to see if it changes or not. It hasn't changed, so he said I don't have to worry and rush to get it filled. The waiting room may be a little bland, and the equipment is not the newest, but it functions just fine. No free toothbrush and floss like I got at other dentists, but not a big deal. I can get that myself for a couple bucks at the drugstore. One time I goofed on how far apart my appointments were - my insurance will pay for only one visit every six months - but Dr. Cajiao's office held the bill until the insurance would cover it. They went out of their way to save me probably $100!

I don't know about you, but most of my experiences at the dental office have been unpleasant. More often than not, I have felt like just another person that fills a chair with no real personal care or plan. Once I saw the great reviews for here- I booked an appointment. That was almost 4 years ago, and I haven't gone anywhere since! My very first appointment here was probably the best one I've ever had at a dentist. I had just came from a dental office where I went with a problem of bleeding gums and all I was told was that there was a mouthwash I would have to use to correct the problem.... Pretty much forever lol and then sent right out the door. It went the complete opposite here though. I first met Dr Diana Barzano and she got me right together......she was so sweet that she gave me her cell phone number in case I had any questions or issues with my mouth after she got done working on me; I had a lot of issues going on. Despite what I had going on she made me feel super safe and actually cared for. Everyone in the office is an absolute sweetheart and extremely professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Val is another one of my favorites. I started taking my young son there and he loves her too. Although he is only nine, she and everyone else is very hands-on with dealing with him, especially since he can be pretty nervous in the office. I am so glad that I found them and don't plan on going anywhere else.

Both Dr. Leake and her hygienist were extremely friendly and made me feel very relaxed. They had an emergency patient come in right before me, so I'm sure that put them a bit behind schedule, and despite that I did not feel like I was being rushed at all. They both took the time to thoroughly explain things to me and answer all of my questions. The staff is absolutely amazing--everyone at the front desk and the assistants are so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They go out of their way to make sure you feel cared for and never judged. I was SO nervous to have a tooth bonded. Dr. Kouris is an ARTIST. She took her time and explained everything thoroughly. I felt so comfortable. I knew I was in good hands. She was excited to create a work of art. I'm afraid to say too much good in this review because it'll be hard to get an appt. But, seriously - she is soooo incredible. A unicorn in the industry. My tooth looks better than it has in 20 years. She didn't just say - 'ok you're done.' She asked numerous times....'how does it feel? Do you like it? Is anything bothering you?' And when I was walking out she said - 'if anything feels odd just come back in and I'll touch it up for free. I stand by my work.' I'm so impressed with this office and Dr. Kouris. I just moved into the area and having to switch to new doctors always made me felt nervous, especially when I am due with my baby at any moment and having to go through a whole new dental procedure. First of all, her dental office was extremely clean and all the equipments were new and updated. She and her staff spent about an hour examining my teeth and that made me felt like they really care about their patients. I also wasn't aware that the first visit usually only consists of "check-ups" and patients needed to schedule a follow-up appointment for routine cleaning - but after communicating my situation with Dr. Luna (with a baby due any moment), she squeezed me into her busy schedule today so I can have my teeth examined and cleaned before my due date. On top of that, she was more thoughtful and careful that I was that she recommended putting all the other procedures (such as X-rays and etc.) postpartum and double made-sure that my teeth would have no problem in the next six months before I come back to see her again. I am really glad that I picked Dr. Luma as my new dentist. I felt very comfortable and taken cared of as a patient here. Thank you, doctor!
