They are located across the street from the local beach on beautiful Sebago Lake. This is the kind of place you will NOT need a cottage key to lock up. They were surprised when we requested for one. Note: If you're driving up and plan to stay, please read their website carefully so that you can pack accordingly. My family and I flew in for a weeks vacation and did not realize they do not offer: Toilet Paper or Shower Towels. Luckily the little general store next door has most household items. They also require you to do most of the cottage cleaning prior to check out- which was at an early 9:30am! We had lots of privacy, use of the camp fire, free admission to the beach. To sum it up, we had a great time and saved some cashing staying here!

The location is ideal if you want a relaxing, quiet, beautiful, pristine, and tranquil setting for your Maine trip. Its location is ideal for day trips for shopping in Freeport, sightseeing, and trips to the coast. You can go boating, fishing, and swimming right from your front door. The cottages are clean, well stocked, safe, and beautifully decorated. Each cottage has a grill, well stocked kitchen with utensils and pots and pans ready for every need from burgers to lobsters! They also provide recreational equipment for fishing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and just chilling out on the lawn, in the houseboat, on the dock, or in a hammock under the trees. More time for relaxing in a hammock! We hiked around the grounds, found the well-stocked self-service game shed, horseshoes, badminton nets. Also self-service canoe/kayaks/lifejackets. Plenty of chairs by the shore for looking at the view. We took a canoe over to one of the bigger islands for a picnic lunch. The next day we kayaked over to another island where an eagle nest had been reported. We enjoyed swimming at the beach. Be sure to bring water shoes as there are some freshwater clams living here. I truly felt like I was finally on vacation when we were all sitting by the shore of the lake at sunset, listening to the loons sing, with fellow campers playing guitar. Kids were playing by the swings waiting for the campfire to be ready for marshmallows. I wish I could have stayed longer. This place is well taken care of, very friendly hosts. They allow well-behaved pets too, which was nice for our new pup.

This is a group of 5 cottages (3 2BR cottages and 2 1BR Cottages) on a lake in Conway Center NH. We rented 4 of the 5 cottages. There is a private beach (lovely) fire pit (we used it every night) and PLENTY of comfy outdoor furniture. You can even bring a boat. :) Saw LOTS of dogs in the lake. :) The cabins were all clean, bathrooms (aside from 3) were so far above using a port-a-potty in the woods that it was like being in the Ritz Carlton. All of the cabins have fully functioning kitchens with utensils, dishes, pans, pot holdres, dishwashing liquid etc..... I would suggest you bring your own can opener, bottle opener and flashlight. The cottages provide these items but none that we found were actually in good working order. (Actually, the flashlight in cabin 3 did work but the remainder had dead batteries) The provide clean linens, pleanty of towels except beach towels, clotheslines and pins to dry your swimsuits, towels etc.... Cabin 5 is a 2BR and their Flagship cabin. Eat-In kitchen. New bathroom, pull out couch. Very cozy. Cabin 4 is a 2BR. Spacious living room with dining table. Tiny narrow kitchen but still functional. Brand new bathroom . Cabin 2 is a 2BR but we did not see that one. Cabin 1 is a 1BR. Small kitchen, bathroom could use a re-do. Cabin 3 is a 1BR. Living room is adorable BUT the bathroom is STRAIGHT out of the 1950's right down to the weird substance appearing to grow on the wall... The bathroom is set up for very very tiny people. My uncle who is about 5'10 and 160 lbs had trouble in the shower stall. If you can avoid renting this cottage, please do so at ALL costs! The bathroom is an atrocity. We did notice a very musty odor in Cabin 4. Perhaps it just needed airing out? WalMart and Hannaford located nearby for shopping (we needed LOTS of air freshner!) I was told the owner lives right on the property but the occupants in cabin 4 did have some trouble getting timely responses to the WiFi Issue and a few other things that came up. (There is WiFi but the signal is so weak, they probably shouldn't advertise they have it, it's very frustrating.) All in all it was a successful vacation. Most everyone had a good time aside from some minor hiccups. We would definitely come back again.

It's only steps to one of the most beautiful beaches in the northeast, and the oceanview from the screened-in porch is simply stunning. The house is light and bright and yet still very cozy. It's tastefully decorated with a beach theme and the kitchen is newly redone. It has a huge wrap around porch that is the perfect place to relax and unwind and listen to the sound of the waves. We lived there for ten months and literally walked our dog on the beach every single day...even in the snow! Aside from the house and location being exceptional, the landlords are wonderful and make sure everything is taken care of during your stay. Once we found Bayview Cabins, we were hooked! Our family continues to grow, so we each get a cabin. We ALL look forward to our vacation here every year. The owners Steve & Sherri make us all feel so comfortable, genuinely sweet people who work hard at keeping the place up. This summer my mother & I decided to take my 90yr old grandmother, who is wheelchair bound, away for a mini- vacation. From the moment we arrived, I was blown away at how handicap accessible Steve & Sherri had made our cabin (12 A&B). Steve came right outside, got wheelchair chair ramps for us, had already put up handicap handles in the shower and on the toilet. Each cabin I've been in, is always so clean. So neat. They have cute signs up that make them feel "homey". And my Gram especially liked the hanging plant in front of our cabin. Me & my entire family HIGHLY recommend this getaway!!!

This place was SOO convenient to everything around, several restaurants, shops and bars are in walking distance. The dock area is really nice and everyone seemed laid back, although there were kids running around, they didn't bother us. They provided a paddle boat, a row boat, a canoe and several tubes for us, which was really nice. The main building has an ice machine and free coffee. Only briefly interacted with the owner Steve, but everything went smoothly. The house itself was perfect for the two of us, the bed was comfy and the AC was strong enough.
