I enjoyed time on Lake Kezar (a lake tour on a pontoon, riding a water bike, and swimming), had some excellent meals including a lobster dinner, worked the NYT crossword every morning, and saw a week of enjoyable concerts and shows. The place is filled with huge, multi-generational families, which gives it such a cool vibe. I was among a handful of first-timers, and I think all of us lefting wanting to go back. I so totally understand why my mom has been hyping this experience up since she first went 15 or 20 years ago.

Evening performances that you can't believe you are watching in the Maine woods; your waiter is also a fantastic musical theater actor, a beach staffer might be a concert level pianist. several Quisis staff have gone one to Broadway, Lincoln Center, etc. And ownership/management is very aware of the unique community they have created. they love the place and it shows. They do everything they can to make sure your family has a great vacation, all while keeping the traditions that make Quisisana so magical.

We were traveling in our van and we made use of the shower facilities and the laundry facilities. There are two separate shower facilities - some on the exterior and two on the inside. The exterior showers were good - very typical for campgrounds. The showers on the inside were amazing! They were spacious and clean, hot water with great shower pressure, privacy and did I mention clean? The laundry room was attached and was very nice as well. If you have children (we did not), there seemed to be tons of things for them to do. Pickleball, volleyball, a paved surface and plenty of riding toys for littles and a playground. There was a nice firepit at each site and really nice touches through the park. The attendant in the office was so friendly and amazing! She, just like us, loves London (inside joke)! Anyway, I cannot recommend this place enough.

The machines were large and new. Price to run a load was $5.50. Bathrooms were super nice as well. My husband took a shower and was very happy with the shower size and how clean the bathroom was. It's very close to Portland, Freeport and Yarmouth. Only complaint was when it rains the site is mostly dirt so it would get tracked into the RV. Needs more gravel. Would definitely stay here again

They will definitely mesmerize you with their beauty and haunting call! There are two bars within walking distance. A mini mart and the Villlage Tie Up. As drizzly rain began, hubs settled down at the puzzle table for the evening! Fresh baked cookies are available in the evenings as well, served with cold milk. The rooms are well appointed with updated bathrooms. The Inn is close to anything you might need to get to in Freeport. Breakfast was delicious as well! This inn provides all the cozy things ~ coffee available in the morning, a selection of other coffees and teas available via Keurig at other times. My only complaint is that the bedside lighting in our room isn't sufficient for reading. Mood lighting ~ check. Reading ~ you'll need to use your phone or a flashlight. Or, perhaps the intent of a B&B, read in the common room with your fellow guests.

We loved being able to walk from the inn to restaurants and shops in Freeport. Most appreciated was their thoughtfulness of providing delicious homemade gluten free food to accommodate my allergy. At night we played games in the parlor while enjoying the delicious warm homemade gluten free cookies. In the morning the three course breakfast was really delicious, especially the gluten free banana scones with maple. I highly recommend staying at the Kendall Inn.

We love the Burnhams and the kids love their weekly ice cream social. Get away from it all and enjoy warm water in Maine (as opposed to the shore)! I'll be back again, 2 weeks from today!

Our…read morehosts Gretchen and Keith were warm and friendly and we felt at ease with them in their gorgeous historic home. We stayed in the "Vintage" room which was spacious and yet cozy. The bed was very comfortable. We were able to open the large bedroom window and feel the lovely cool Maine air. The adjacent shared bathroom was large and so luxurious with its double sinks. The home is beautifully decorated with a variety of antiques and special touches.The library and sitting room common areas seemed both stately and comfortable at the same time. The entire home was clean and inviting. A scrumptious homemade breakfast was the icing on the cake! Wonderful. The wraparound porch is large and the garden area and is calming and serene. The flowers around the home are magnificent. There is also a raised screened in porch area off the kitchen to relax in. The home is close to Sebago lake and the New Hampshire border and you can easily walk to the center of town to do some antique shopping or eat at Krista's restaurant. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Perkins House and plan to return. 4.75 stars.

It's quite a drive from Danbury, but I'd go back in a heartbeat. I highly recommend it.
