Other floorers lumped both areas together. It proved impossible to find a match for my old laminate, so Daniel suggested for front entry marble-patterned tiles, I found and bought tiles, laminate a close match to old laminate's color, but not its size, and transition strips. Daniel and his crew used leftover/salvaged old laminate boards to seamlessly merge old and new laminates on landing of stairs to garage, then new laminate in the laundry room, A third, poorly-glued transition strip came loose between living room and dining nook. Daniel made a special trip to install a replacement strip and spent hours getting it just right at no extra charge.

But the contractor they sent to us to do the railing was completely and utterly incompetent. They destroyed easily $1,500 worth of railing material, and of course neither LL Flooring, nor Arthur's Remodeling (who is the subcontractor they sent out, you can find my review at the bottom of this review) will claim any responsibility for it. LL will just tell you that you have to claim it with Arthur's. Then Arthur's will just ignore you when you contact them about it. Save your money, buy your material from somewhere else, and find a better contractor to install it for you. Literally anywhere and anyone will be better than this lying company and the lying contractor they use. EDIT: Figured I should add this too. Looks like Arthur's Remodeling filed a complaint with Yelp regarding potential violations of review guidelines. Nothing in any of my reviews violates any of Yelp's guidelines. But no worries. I've kept copies and screenshots of these reviews just in case anything happens to them. You all deserve to know how exactly these companies operate. On that note, I'd like to add a little something else to this review. Almost every attempt to speak with LL Flooring's customer service was met with no response until I was forced to escalate the situation more than once. Emails went weeks without a response. Phone calls with no answer. Voice mails with no response. This company is absolutely not worth your time. Things will go wrong with the work and/or product, and when you attempt to contact this company to get it rectified, you will be ignored. Like I stated above, save your time and money, and go elsewhere. Back story, we went to vacation for 3 weeks to return to our kitchen floors warped. They were warped like a small wave... not a big deal we thought!! Wrong ...as days progressed the floors began to lift and open up... it was incredible how alive the wood became. The floor rises up nearly 3 inches. We found out that the fridge tubbing had a micro leak behind which caused the wall to get ruined and the floors as you can see. We panicked and called and got some ridiculous assessments over the phone with consistent people telling us that they needed to refinish the whole house. But why? The problem is in the kitchen not in my bedrooms, living room etc! I mean... having to empty your house is a horrifying thought and overwhelming, especially if you have pets, children and a husband haha FYI...My husband is awesome but I knew the brunt of emptying the house would fall on me- a full time worker! So Alberto came in like a night in shining armor! I was nervous to start this project but he made it happen. They came in the next day, removed the floors in the kitchen, let it air dry for a few days, brought in the new oak wood planks to get adjusted to the house environment, then he placed them, sanded and stained.
