Not much in terms of service and the prices are pretty high for the quality. They had a good selection of items in stock, but many need to be ordered to the store or your home. We didn't find what we were looking for and since they were not helpful, I don't think we will be back. read more

Horrible customer service!! We tried to order stairs from them and was told it would take 2-3 weeks. No problem. Tried calling them at the 2-week mark to check on the status but no one ever picked up. Called them back to check on the status at the 3-week mark only to find out it will actually be 4-6 weeks. Either give us a better estimate up front or call us when the estimate changes, but they didn't do any of that. I suspect they gave us a quicker estimate earlier to get our business. Having an incredibly inappropriate experience at LL today. After closing our order without consent and losing ALL of our previous info and receipts, we were told by the front desk employee that it was our fault that we didn't have the info that they lost and they basically guaranteed that they wouldn't offer the deal made months ago when we initially put our deposit down. The employee then proceeded to be condescending and refused to contact a higher up, putting us through to "customer care" which we still haven't gotten through to after being on hold for 1 hour and 37 minutes. What a terrible company. Contracted them to get wood floors, wood stairs, and wood stair railing installed. Well, the floors and the stairs got done. But the contractor they sent to us to do the railing was completely and utterly incompetent. They destroyed easily $1,500 worth of railing material, and of course neither LL Flooring, nor Arthur's Remodeling (who is the subcontractor they sent out, you can find my review at the bottom of this review) will claim any responsibility for it. LL will just tell you that you have to claim it with Arthur's. Then Arthur's will just ignore you when you contact them about it. Save your money, buy your material from somewhere else, and find a better contractor to install it for you. Literally anywhere and anyone will be better than this lying company and the lying contractor they use. EDIT: Figured I should add this too. Looks like Arthur's Remodeling filed a complaint with Yelp regarding potential violations of review guidelines. Nothing in any of my reviews violates any of Yelp's guidelines. But no worries. I've kept copies and screenshots of these reviews just in case anything happens to them. You all deserve to know how exactly these companies operate. On that note, I'd like to add a little something else to this review. Almost every attempt to speak with LL Flooring's customer service was met with no response until I was forced to escalate the situation more than once. Emails went weeks without a response. Phone calls with no answer. Voice mails with no response. This company is absolutely not worth your time. Things will go wrong with the work and/or product, and when you attempt to contact this company to get it rectified, you will be ignored. BE AWARE American Flooring Experts and Jora Sinaei are scam artists who are contracted by LL. Jora is one of the 2 installers for LL who operate in the San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita Valley. I needed flooring installed by professionals. Instead what I got was a bunch of non english speaking unskilled cheap hires who, arrived late, cut corners, damaged my painted base board, and destroyed my housemates chair, left oil stains in my driveway, left gobs of glue on my doorway, and placed several repeat plank patterns right next to each other. My poor house was used as a training ground by these folks who received no supervision from Jora. Jora said all the right things at the beginning and originally comes off a likeable guy....so he's dangerous. His exact words when I called him and his team out was "Its not my job to supervise them". He tried to pressure me into signing a satisfaction completion paperwork. Protect yourself keep you and your family away from Jora Sinaei and his group of unskilled laborers. Lastly, because LL filed for Chapter 11, They told me that his work and the warranties we originally agreed to were no longer going to be held on their side. Run for your life! read more

BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISING! I recently purchased a total of $8,023.23 for flooring for both the downstairs and upstairs portions of our home. I loved the sales and service teams at LL Flooring in North Hills: Calvina, Gabriel and store manager Anthony on the Sales Floor; Marco & Pedro for Delivery; and Sergio for Installation. They all work hard and go the extra mile for their clients. They each, and together as a group, provided me with great all-around service. As a customer, dealing with them made me feel like I was the center of their universe. Also, Sergio, the installer, did a fantastic job. Jackie-the-Critic awards 5 STARS each to: Calvina, Gabriel, Anthony, Marco, Pedro and Sergio of the North Hills Store. Why the one Star? The 1 STAR is for LL Flooring's CORPORATE Division/Office. Since I do not know where LL Flooring's Corporate is located, I am sharing the information here. It is my strong opinion that LL FLOORING CORPORATE indulges in FALSE and/or MISLEADING ADVERTISING! Here is my case: On July 12, 2023. I made my first purchase for both materials & installation for our downstairs living room. When I made this first purchase, I had with me a coupon printed from the Internet providing for a 10% discount PLUS $100 off every $1,000 spent (excluding taxes). I was within the time frame for this discount. I know this because I confirmed it with the sales staff on that same day. I spent a total of $3,788.99. Did I get the 10% discount? NO. The reason? The flooring I purchased did not qualify. Did I get the $100 off every 1,000 spent? NO. (I applied online and was denied because I was "outside the time period." I was not outside the time period.) While making my first in-store purchase for downstairs flooring, the store manager suggested I put money down "now" to purchase the additional upstairs flooring I needed, thereby allowing me to take advantage of the current promo. I happily agreed. I put the $200 down to hold the promo for the second purchase. I returned to the North Hills store to complete my second purchase for our upstairs flooring. Having been denied the promos for the first purchase, I brought an updated ad providing a 20% discount + $100 off every $1,000 spent for the current time period. At the store, I explained to Anthony that I did not receive the $100 off every $1,000 spent for my first purchase. I asked him to use the new coupon instead. He told me that I could not use the new coupon because I had already put the $200 down earlier to take advantage of the 1st offer. My second purchase now had two dates listed on the invoice: a Document Date of July 12 (to hold the promo) and an Invoice Date of August 5th., when the purchase was actually made. For the upstairs, I spent a total of $4,234.24. Did I get the 20% discount? NO because I had purchased the same type of wood. Did I receive $100 for every $1,000 spent? NO! I was denied online because I had two dates. "FOOL ME ONCE, SHAME ON YOU! FOOL ME TWICE, SHAME ON ME." Never again LL Flooring! My opinion? LL Flooring conned us (and most likely other customers) by e-mailing advertising promotions without any intention of standing behind them. I believe LL Flooring's Promotional Ads are written and designed in such a way as to mislead the consumer by drawing the eye towards the promotion and away from any possible exclusions that could nullify any part of the promotion. In my opinion, LL FLOORING practices FALSE and MISLEADING ADVERTISING by failing to strongly state exclusions up-front. None of the big box stores have LVP, engineered and solid hardwood all on display, nevermind actually installed on their showroom floors. But LL Flooring has just that - They give their customers the opportunity to see, firsthand, the products they sell and how they would hold up over time. The staff at this North Hills location is very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. While we did not end up with flooring from LL Flooring, I would highly recommend the North Hills location because of the entire staff! read more

I had been to the Camarillo location at the very beginning of my search and it was not remarkable and the flooring that stood out above all others had been discontinued. Well, same situation here but Anthony listened to what I was looking for and helped with suggestions when I turned down a suggestion of his it seemed he understood why and kept working to really find an alternative to the sample I had fallen in love with. I had been ordering samples online and went to this location to help narrow down my top selections. That unfortunately didn't happen currently waiting on more samples but very impressed with the customer service I received. Visited this location last Monday. The selection and prices were quite good, so I arranged for a measurement to be taken so I can commit to an installation. Here it is, Saturday. After the better part of a week, do I have a quote? No. In fact, even after several calls to LL flooring, with promises to follow up, I have never received a call to arrange for an appointment for getting an installation quote. While the installers are partner companies and not LL Flooring, you can imagine the impression they leave to potential customers. I have no confidence in the installers at this point and will have to take my business elsewhere. Update: Two weeks now without any call. I noticed the company reached out via a reply to this review, so I sent the information they requested. Got no response from them either. Avoid, avoid, avoid. We got our floors done by these guys and let me tell you We were left pretty dissatisfied with the work they did on our floors. They said they were going to do our floors in 2 days. They left the floors without finishing the borders for our doors, they didn't cut the door straight, left some damage on our doors as well, and the floors were left with gaps. When we told them about it, they didn't put in the product to cover the gaps. Instead, they left that to us. I didn't realize that was my job and something I should pay myself for. There were also comments that they made about the product we bought; saying that it was a difficult product to work with. If that is so, then why sell it in the first place? When they left, the work wasn't finished, they left their trash on our driveway, and they did not tell us when they would be coming back. They came about five days after. Don't do business with this company. We went in looking for new flooring for our kitchen/laundry room and found flooring we were happy with. Cesar, the assistant store manager, helped and explained different floorings to us (this is why they get 2 stars). He gave us some estimates for the flooring but couldn't give us any sort of range for the install. So we scheduled the install estimate for the next day. The guy shows up and tells us there is a 250 sq ft minimum. CESAR WAS QUOTING US FLOORING FOR 160 sq ft AND NEVER THOUGHT TO MENTION THIS?! We were very upfront about being price conscious he knew but conveniently thought to forget to tell us this information. THEN the estimate was for $1000 for 160 sq ft. That's crazy expensive and total bullshit. $1.99/sq ft for install is a scam. This is a dishonest company. Stay away. read more

While looking for flooring we gave them a shot. I measured my floors and they we just under 350 sq ft. The lady in the store was friendly and helpful. She told us $1.99 per sq ft for install. We did some quick math with the material we liked and thought it sounded like a decent deal. The only way to get a quote is to pay them $25 for a guy to come out. Not as bad as a lot of companies but still, why should I pay you so that you can get my business? Against my better judgement we paid and had the guy come out. Initially he wasn't very personable or even interested in being there. He measured in 2 minutes with a laser device and told me he was done. I forced him to answer some questions but it just didn't feel right. This is where it gets weird. The day before my water heater crapped out. I was installing a new one when he arrived. We were having trouble getting the pilot to light and he actually fixed it for us. Apparently he is also a plumber. If he was representing a plumbing business I would behave given the process 5 stars. But he wasn't and he told me the estimate would be emailed. A day or two later we got the estimate and it was staggering. Way over what they had indicated in the store. They had added charges for absolutely everything involved with the install. Apparently the installation price is literally the price of them putting the floor down. It does not include reducers, moldings, underlayment, or even delivery of the material! $200 to bring it with them the two miles to the house. Plus the estimate was 100 sq ft more than the actual space. I know you may need a little extra but jeez. I was also annoyed to see that the quote included demolition despite me telling him not to include it. Needless to say they didn't get our business. Beware the low estimates they give in store. I only gave them two stars because he was kind enough to help with the water heater. read more

If I could put zero star I would do it. They delivery process to my home yesterday. The service was absolutely terrible. I was told by R L carriers the window for delivery was between 10-2pm. Since we have not live in that house yet, basically I have to wait and stand by from 10-2pm. In fact, they didn't call or come until 3:30 pm. In addition, the driver came by himself and refused to unload the hardwood if we didn't give him a hand, otherwise he said he would have to leave and reschedule. This kind of attitude was unacceptable and very unprofessional considering we paid almost additional $300 for shipping. In the end , my husband and one of my helper unload all the hardwood themselves and put inside the house. We can't accept this kind of service. Also, they charged us the sales tax on top of the freight cost instead of the product cost only. The store gave us some excuses they could use to cover all the problems. We had used lumber Liquidators many years ago, long before the company had evolved into, basically a super store with a location now right in our neighborhood. I wanted to take the time to write a review because we had a surprisingly, beyond helpful interaction with a young lady named Calvina. She was super respectful of our space when needed yet had an answer ready for any question we had. We are in an odd predicament and have limited experience with construction, Calvina was full of knowledge that surpassed what we could have even hoped for in service. Really bad. I asked for a sample and the guy there would only give it to me if I gave him my phone number and email. The sample was for work, so gave it to him. You know what happened from there. Junk emails everyday and he kept calling and bugging me everyday. When I told him to stop, another employee started calling. Horrible horrible place. It reminds me of the Gyms in the 90s. Just a hard sell on crappy flooring. The prices there aren't bad, but it's never worth it to support a company like that. I've dealt with 3 different locations in the last year and they're all the same. Also like used car dealerships of the 80s except these sales guys are just making money to buy their new "Beats" headphones or the new iPhone. I'm a purchaser for a studio. That's the only reason I ever go there. It's because somebody is requiring me to get quotes from them. If you ever go there, just listen to what kind of bulls#1t they're telling to other customers. "You'd have to buy it now, for that price." "This flooring goes fast. I can't guarantee it'll be available later." You know the lines.
