I hired Statewide Remodeling through Home Depot, thinking the association would mean quality…read moreservice and professionalism. I was quoted over $12,000 for a very basic shower remodel, and while this was steep, I went forward assuming I'd be taken care of due to the Home Depot connection. The remodel was completed in July 2024, but within two months, the top hinge on the shower door failed, causing it to come off and rest dangerously on the floor. It took ten days of calling and messaging multiple contacts with no central point of communication before a technician finally arrived. The technician was shocked it took so long, calling it a major safety hazard. The real nightmare began in October when, less than a month after the first repair, the door started loosening again. After sending messages on Thursday and Friday with no response, the door shattered Saturday night while I was in the bathroom, leaving me with cuts on my legs. I sent photos to Statewide Remodeling with no immediate reply, and despite the injury and scattered glass, there was still no urgent response. By Monday, the same contact who had been unresponsive offered to replace the door "at no cost." Given that I had just had this remodel done, this response was insulting and inadequate. To make matters worse, glass was spread all over my bathroom in fine, hazardous shards. My daughter, who I asked to bring me shoes to leave the bathroom safely, was also cut. Who is responsible for the clean up of dangerous powder-like glass, there was no assistance offered, leaving us to manage this on our own. I went and met with a store manager manager at the Home Depot where I first met Statewide Remodeling, she asked me to send a detailed email with pictures etc, which I promptly sent, 4 days later no response from her or Home Depot. Despite my repeated calls, texts, and even multiple emails to the CEO, I've had no response. I do not trust the same people to come and put a new shower door up. This is a safety issue. This experience has been beyond frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly advise anyone to reconsider hiring Statewide Remodeling; my experience has shown they're unresponsive, unprofessional, and unsafe.

There are not water pipes in the area but the wall is up against where the shower is Statewide Remolding replaced. I contact Statewide, because it appears that whatever water barrier they put in failed. However first they tried to say there was an existing leak. When i asked if there was existing leak why didn't you tell me so I can fix it before you put the new wall up. Then they backpedalled from the excuse and stopped responding. Be careful if you are going to use this company!

Leslie came to my home for a consultation and truly helped bring my vision to life. Their modern showroom is beautiful and inspiring. The project manager was very responsive and always quick to communicate. The workers were clean, respectful, and took great care to protect all surrounding areas of my home during the work. I felt their pricing was very fair, and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations--beautiful, precise, and completed efficiently. I truly felt like I was their only customer throughout the entire process. I will absolutely be using Modern Design and Remodeling for future projects in my home. If you're on the fence about starting a project, you can't go wrong contacting Leslie to help turn your vision into a reality. Thank you for my beautiful new fireplace!

We ended up doing more than the planned remodel. We knocked out walls, remodeled the fireplace front, new floor throughout, upgraded the Jack and Jill bathroom and extended the patio cover. The Project Manager Johnathan was fantastic. Every crew showed up when scheduled and was very respectful of our home, cleaning daily before they left. Not one time did we have an issue. The end results are fantastic. We would definitely recommend Modern Design and Remodeling.

When I told them I had checked the box to see the slab first and even had the sales person make a notation in the computer, they more or less said too bad. I then asked them to send pictures of the cut slab. When they did, It had a large gray vain running through it and it looked nothing like the picture of the slab that I ordered from. The picture I ordered from was cream colored with light soft gold veining. I had multiple conversations with Sherry Pennier and she was not the nicest person to deal with. She told me that I would have to buy another slab and have it redone. When I asked her for the number of her supervisor she refused to give it to me. After arguing she finally said she would have the next person up give me a call. Sean Demory was no better. When I asked him for the next person up he said he was it. He refused to give me an email or number of anyone else I could talk to. When I asked him what happened to customers were always right he said no they were not. So now we are taking a road trip to the Corporate Office Lawrenceburg Tennessee since I can't get any help here in Texas....If you would like to see pictures you can check it out on my Facebook page Susan Manchester Bell. Or message me on Facebook. I will be updating my journey on fighting Cabinet's to Go to make it right! When you offer for the customer to see it first and they check yes then by God honor their request! Other wise why have it on the forms.

The sales and design process was smooth, and delivery went fine. Unfortunately, I damaged a handful of the little cam-lock fasteners . When I contacted customer service for replacements, I was quoted $2.50 each for the cam locks and a flat $35 shipping charge regardless of quantity. For perspective: These are tiny zinc cam locks that weigh one ounce for 30 of them. Identical or extremely close generic versions sell on Amazon for $0.35-$0.50 each with free or $6-$8 shipping. USPS Priority Mail for that weight is $7-$9 anywhere in the continental U.S. Paying $35 to ship something that fits in a padded envelope feels predatory, especially when the parts themselves are already marked up 5-7× retail. I asked if they could use standard parcel shipping; I never received a response to my request. I contacted the one of the retail stores and they were going to give me the cam locks out of the inventory they had on hand, they just didn't have the quantity I needed, so they referred me to the customer service department. I ended up buying generic cam locks elsewhere for under $20 shipped and they work perfectly, but it's disappointing that a company that does so many things right makes it this expensive and difficult to get the exact OEM parts. Cabinets To Go - please reconsider your small-parts shipping policy. A $35 minimum on lightweight hardware is driving customers away.

Even a few days later, when I thought of more things to ask, he was quick to respond and made sure I got the info I needed. I asked a lot of off the wall things, but he was patient and made sure I understood the explanation of different types of patios and materials. Before starting the project, he walked me through the plan and introduced me to my project manager, Luis. Luis was great, he kept me updated the whole way, even during the first week when I was out of town. I had no worries and I was able to enjoy my vacation while full on construction was going on at my home. Every crew that came out, roofing, painting, cement, told me what they were there to do and asked if I had any questions before getting started. I also have to mention Blanca in the office, every time I called, she was so friendly and easy to talk to, it was like I'd known her for years. The end result? My patio is beautiful! I was torn between putting money down on a larger home and moving, or building a patio to add square footage for gatherings. I am so happy I went with a new patio instead of the debt of a new home. I had to personally put getting any remodeling and home additions on hold while I cared for my dad for over a year. We talked about my patio dream before he passed in March. He kept telling me -"get that patio done". I'll think of him every time I'm enjoying my new space.
