    Unlimited toppings
    Lori I.

Card only. Cash not accepted. This is like a build your own acai bowl place, with unlimited toppings, BUT they have several preset combos like "THE CRUNCHY" which is really good and includes chia pudding, granola. The regular acai bowl comes with peanut butter. Create your own you can add crunchy quinoa, toasted coconut, and for upcharge you can add protein powder almond butter and more! I wish they had told me about their rewards program because I've already purchased 7 acai bowls over the last week and didn't get points for any of them, I just read the other review and discovered that! The 16oz acai will cost you about $15 dollars, this is definitely gonna steal my wallet. But it's really good. Ugh. So good. I will be back. Location: previously Uncle Clays, next to BBQ Town.

Original, add strawberry and blueberry. Crunchy in background, add banana

I am obsessed with this new joint! Been getting my fix since they opened a few weeks ago. Their acai has amazing flavor (not too sweet) and I love their philosophy of unlimited add-ons (a couple items like almond butter have a supplemental charge). Oakberry Acai have two other locations on Oahu- Kapolei and Waikiki. They recently popped up in the Aina Haina Shopping Center by BBQ Town and Jack's Restaurant. How it Works: Start with any one of their signature acai bowls, then LOAD 'EM UP with as many toppings as you want! I like the Original which comes with acai, peanut butter, granola and bananas. Then I add strawberries, blueberries, and honey. They have a loyalty program that automatically adds points to your account if you add a credit card to their app. Points can be redeemed for free acai bowls and snacks. My whole family loves it and it's a great refresher for this unusually hot Hawaii summer. Ample parking available, service is friendly. Açaí your heart out, Yelpers!!

Oakberry Açaí at Kahala's ʻĀina Haina Shopping Center (in the former Uncle Clay's location) is a welcome addition for açaí lovers on the east side. My family and I tried the "Create Your Own" açaí bowl, and the standout feature is definitely the unlimited toppings. The bowls aren't cheap--a 12-ounce bowl for around $12 is still $12, and you could easily get a plate lunch for that price. However, compared to many other açaí spots on Oʻahu, I think the value is there. The unlimited toppings make a difference, especially if you're someone who likes variety. I definitely took advantage of it and loaded mine up with most of my favorite toppings. The açaí itself is good and very approachable. It has a smoother, less sorbet-like texture than some other places and tastes quite similar to Sambazon açaí. I also appreciated that they layer the bowls, so you get toppings throughout instead of just on top. Since they're still fairly new and seemed to be in a soft-opening phase, it was busy when we visited. Even so, the service was efficient and surprisingly fast. Despite the crowd, our bowls were ready in about five minutes. Parking is shared with the shopping center, so availability will vary. You might end up with a short walk, or you might get lucky like we did and find a spot right in front. Overall, this may not be the absolute best-tasting açaí bowl I've had on Oʻahu, but it's one I would happily come back for. While the price isn't inexpensive, the unlimited toppings and customization make it feel like a fair value compared to many other açaí options on the island.

Beautiful new Acai berry place in Aina Hina in the former Uncle Clay's location, right next door to BBQ town. Extremely kind owners and a ton of fresh healthy ingredients! Come, come, come!!!

OAKBERRY ACAI - new to Aina Haina Shopping Center but with multiple locations elsewhere. Build your own bowl/smoothie or select from their pre-fixed menu. They have 3 sizes of acai "bowls" that come in cups - 12oz Classic, 16oz Works, 24oz The Oak, and the sizing is the same for their smoothies. You can add a lot of different toppings for free and just a few "premium" ones for an upcharge. They also offer boosters for an added charge. Be aware that the toppings aren't huge, maybe 1 teaspoon scoop of the seeds and a small spoonful or singles of berries. First, the girl working the counter wasn't overly friendly but had a good customer focus and was pleasant. I actually prefer that type of service mindset. The inside of the store is brightly lit with a lot of white - walls, tables, chairs, etc. There were 3 tables to sit at, so don't come with a large party and be prepared to take your order to-go. No loud, blaring music, so it's pretty chill. I was able to grab the corner table and got to read a couple of chapters of my book while enjoying my bowl. I ordered the 24oz bowl, toppings - granola, hunny, blueberry, goji berries, and chia seeds. The acai itself was good... not too sweet and kept it was a little thicker in texture. The granola was crunchy and stood up well to the acai, even after I had mixed it in, not particularly sweet either. The goji berries were pretty plump and had a nice chew. Overall rating 4/10 because even tho they have unlimited toppings, the servings aren't huge and could use some expansion. But would I come here again? Sure if I was nearby and needed an acai fix. Be prepared to use card or tap to pay! - Limited menu offerings

Looks delicious - granola is stale and açaí tastes like banana flavoring. Yuck.

I am SO disappointed. We live in the neighborhood and were super excited that this new açaí place opened in Aina Haina because we LOVE açaí and have had countless versions. Very sadly, this place wins worst place. For starters, the granola was stale - like inedible, consider spitting out, taint the whole bowl stale. If you decide to give this shop a try anyway - maybe try one of the versions without the granola? The chia was good - unsweetened (which was a nice contrast, and very rich coconut). Unfortunately though, I don't think we'd have liked it even if the granola had been fresh, because we didn't like the açaí itself. It was very sweet (first four ingredients are açaí, water, sugar, and agave syrup). But it also tasted like banana flavoring - like that penicillin flavoring? They don't use bananas and state they aim for more natural products, but I couldn't get over the fake banana flavor. Three of us (two kids) shared one and we still threw half out. I don't think my kids have ever asked if they could throw açaí away before. Maybe I will give them a second try? But not for at least a year. I need to get the taste out of my mind first.

Yes and it was delicious. I went to see Bonny Amemiya but she wasn't there. None of the workers knew who she was, doesn't she own this shop?

My only gripe is that it costs a bit much for what you're getting. Flavor is nice and healthy, you don't taste the chunks of dates which I appreciate. But it's still a little more on the bland side but it's good for you! The smoothie doesn't get watery fast at all, so you can enjoy it slowly. If you need a little AC since you've been beaching all day, that's the spot :)
