Disappointed in a Free Smoothie I Was Really Looking Forward To Leahi Health is usually one of my go-to smoothie spots. I always order the Brazilian with a little agave, and it's typically fresh, flavorful, and blended with granola, which adds a nice texture and rounds out the drink. Today, I finally had enough points to redeem a free smoothie, and unfortunately, it was a letdown. The smoothie was watery, thin, and just tasted off. I later realized they had forgotten the granola, which completely changed the texture and balance of the smoothie. I couldn't finish it. That said, the staff is always super friendly, and I truly don't think it was intentional--possibly just a new team member or simple mistake. The location is tucked away in the corner of the plaza's central area. There's outdoor seating, which is convenient if you want to stay and enjoy your drink, though it's not the most inviting setup. I've had great experiences here before, so I'm hoping this was just an off day. Still, it was frustrating to use up a reward on something that didn't deliver.

I was craving an acai bowl. I found this place and went to order. When I go the acai bowl it was like hard as rock like they premade it and kept it in the freezer. I even told the server that I was going to eat it outside. The interior is pretty small but it is like grab-and-go kind of place.

Welcomed with Aloha --- the teams always gracious kind even when slammed fresh green I always love surf tacos - you can sit outside in covered area - very friendly vibe - local tip don't feed birds

The quality of salads and smoothies here are consistent. Ample parking in the lot fronting the store. Service is quick and prompt. They're mostly students so I think they would appreciate some tips even though it's takeout.

I've come here countless times for their $15 tacos + smoothie deal! The tacos were a lot smaller than usual this time, so I'm not sure if they decided to shrink their portions or if it was just a one off case.

I occasionally get out this way - Aina Haina. I wanted to get some of the specials specific to Leahi Health's Aina Haina location as well as take a look at Crumbl's newest store on Oahu...they are closed every Sunday. Got Da Aina Smoothie and Spicy Tofu Poke for takeaway. Wait time was fine. The latter was good with tofu and avocado over brown rice, topped with a mild spicy sauce. The former, don't recall all of the ingredients...it was also good. Lot of parking in the Aina Haina Shopping Center. Leahi Health is located in the middle of the mall recessed within the small food court.

Loved my Buddha bowls and it was packed with so much food that lasted me a good two days lol I mean great spot and convenient for when I don't wanna cook but wanna healthy

    Baja bowl is delicious

Definitely recommend! I haven't come in over a year but decided to try them out recently. I came in on a Friday and got a free green health shot of some kind which I thought was really cool. I ordered the Baja bowl. Which was absolutely delicious. Before the kale was cut thickly and was kind of hard to chew. But they have since started to thinly slice the kale and cabbage slaw which made me so much happier. They have also changed their packaging containers to ones with actual lids instead of paper bowls with tin foil. Friendly staff and you can eat right outside of the store. Public bathrooms are also right outside you just need the code. Tucked behind pieology. Lots of smoothie and green juice options. Everything is vegetarian so there is no meat of any kind. Will be back and bringing friends!

Solid and fresh healthy food. Subway is pretty lame in comparison: I only tried the mock tuna tacos but and they were really good. For $11 portion is decent. Not huge but not tiny. They were delivered to us outside. No forks, no napkins (rather messy so both were needed). Would be nice to have a pitcher of water and small cups. I would definitely go back. If you're looking for a no guilt place to get a meal in Aina Haina, this is it.

First time at Leah's health, for sure we will be back!! Nice to know that they are open till 5:00 on a Sunday. My husband had the Thai crunch salad which was very tasty it was filling and he would probably order it again. I had the Bacon mustard bowl and the combination was amazing, so flavorful!! I never enjoyed Kale that much, the coconut bacon was delicious it just added the punch a salad needs!! We are super curious about the beet poke bowl and want to try that next along with the tacos!! The Sweet Tweet smoothie was yummy, not too sweet and refreshing I was pretty full after my meal and smoothie and sooo happy I found this place on Yelp!! As all my other food discoveries and dining experiences have been amaze balls!!

A visit to Leahi Health Bar is always an essential part of my trip back home for me. Despite being the townie I am, the drive to the Aina Haina location is always worth it especially because it's less packed compared to the bustling Kaimuki location. The weekly highlight: Taco Tuesday with my go-to combination...the Kale Avocado Tacos paired with the Ulu Watu smoothie. The Surfer Bowl is another favorite that never disappoints. I still remember the days when the bowls were only $5-6!

I'm not a cold brew person, but the macnut flavored cold brew along with the coconut flavored cold foam had no traces of bitterness n' gave a nice sweetness. I had planned to hang out here and get some work done for like an hour but decided there is probably somewhere quieter to hang out. I ordered the breakfast skillet which I saw on the written menu outside, I think it's a new or temporary dish and I really really enjoyed it, I just wish the girl that delivered it to my table warned me the skillet was literally burning hot, since I actually burned my hand on it... When I was heading out I made the mistake of asking the girl with the short blonde hair where the bathroom was and she's like oh to the left of the blue umbrellas... and I'm like ok... I go outside and don't see blue umbrellas, and then I finally find the bathroom which is literally right across from island brew, (that's all she had to say) and there are 2 people outside, so I ask them if they are waiting and one is... an island brew worker passes me and she has a key in her hand, so I'm like oh is that a key for the bathroom? And she's like, it's a ? key as she walks away from me, but I couldn't really hear whatever she said so I follow her down the hall to ask her what she said and she just goes in the bathroom and slams the door, which is when I realize it was probably an employee bathroom and there is a code for the other "public" door and the first girl didn't even tell it to me, the other worker didn't either... oh yeah and it's a one person bathroom FYI -- I've been here before and love love love this totally unassuming spot, there is a Safeway and longs drugs, just a big open lot then this Island Brew which is like an oasis, but never used the bathroom before... I guess now I know. I don't think I'll be back any time soon though...

I tried several bowls including the Da Cove, Mana, Lava, Hapa, and Hawaiian. The fruit in every bowl tasted incredibly fresh and everything was really enjoyable. My fav was definitely the Hawaiian because it includes paʻiʻai, which I later learned is hand-pounded steamed taro. It had a slightly chewy, paste like texture that was really good and added something special to the bowl. I would easily recommend this spot to anyone visiting. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Hawaii. We didn't get a chance to try any of their other food or drinks though, so that's something I'd want to check out next time. There are quite a lot of seats inside, which makes it fairly easy to find a place to sit. They do have parking right in front of the shop, but the spaces are a little tight. The bathroom was a bit questionable though it was very dimly lit and seemed to double as a storage area.

Despite the fact that it's a considerably trek for city-dwellers, factoring either traffic or bus schedules into the equation, or both if you're particularly unlucky, it's a journey always worth taking. Hit Hanauma Bay along the way and make it a day trip; the only way to top those dazzling sights is to follow them with a stellar meal. Boasting a menu composed of locally-sourced produce and entirely vegan options, you'll want to take a number of friends for the best experience. Heck, get out there and make some new friends! Join one of the long communal picnic tables out back and introduce yourself; there are no friendlier folks on earth than those living in paradise, as far as I've seen. That said, if there was only one dish to order, it would have to be the Oh WOW Laulau. Wow, indeed! No where else on earth have I found vegan laulau, let alone such a stellar rendition. Traditionally consisting of fatty pork and/or fish steamed in taro leaves, this version eschews the meat in favor of hearty root vegetables, adding creamy coconut into the mix for richness. Not to be overlooked is the Tofu Poke provided on the side, claiming to be spicy but really bearing just enough warmth to taste perfectly balanced. This was easily my personal favorite from the small sampling of dishes provided, but it's a close call when all the options are so good. Another front runner is the BBQ Portobello Sandwich. Mushrooms marinated in a bright, smoky barbecue sauce practically sing between two whole wheat buns. Coconut slaw tops off the assemblage with just the right amount of subtle sweetness to contrast the deeply savory flavors within. Simpler but no less spectacular dishes include the Roasted Veg Platter and Roasted Veg Avocado Sandwich. The way that the vegetables are treated with respect, from the moment they're harvested from nearby farms to the care taken when they reach the kitchen is evident with every bite. Cooked with care and proffered generously with each serving, even the basics make the trek out here worthwhile. I'm still trying to recreate that impossibly umami gravy offered on the side. It's one of those things that are so astoundingly, inconceivably delicious, it's impossible to deconstruct. Each entree promises an ideal amount of food; satisfying diners without over-stuffing them. That said, you'll still want to make room for dessert, especially when you see the towering bowls full of Outta This Swirled Soft Serve. Cool, naturally sweet spirals of banana-based soft serve are dressed to the nines with cacao sauce that hardens much like magic shell, granola and coconut flakes tumbling down the mountainous terrain, and fresh fruits that vary based on local availability- Expect papaya always to be in ample supply, based on the thriving papaya trees on premise. Each order is abundant enough to be a considered a full meal in and of itself.
