Needed a bunch of junk removed from underneath a house including literally a kitchen sink. Called O'ahu Junk Removal and they were there the next morning. A few hours later everything was removed. John was great to deal with. Super friendly and down to earth. Love it when a vendor do what they say they're going to do with no surprises or drama. Pro Tip: If you have cans of paint, you have to open them and let them dry before they're allowed to be taken to the dump site. Will definitely call them again! read more

Staff was personable, efficient and respectful. Quote given was adjusted as some items were cleared out before they arrived. Ann Freitas is awesome. She was straightforward, timely and super nice to work with. Oahu Junk is definitely a company to call when you need junk removal. Thank you Ann and your team!!! read more

I was there practically the whole time pointing and making requests of "priority" items. Patient and strong couple of men working today. They even grabbed items with one hand, so strong. I sent the company pictures of what I wanted thrown away and they got back to me with the price. I got notifications and a phone call when they were in the way. They did not take too many metal items in this run. Most items were to be burnt for H power. Best to clarify if you have a variety of materials to be disposed of. Friendly workers. read more

Great junk removal company at a reasonable price. Came on time, very friendly. Will use them again.

Great junk removal company at a reasonable price! I have used them several times now, and each time they have done an awesome job of taking away the junk that I had requested. Best to call and text their number with the images of what needed to be disposed of and then the owner Ann will give you a quote. One of the times I couldn't be there on-site when the crew came, but when they did come they did a wonderful job of cleaning what I had requested. Will use them again in any future instances where I need bulky junk removed! read more

Second time I've used them and they are great, on time, friendly, great all around service.

#ThankYouThursday2021 In search of junk removal services, I holler out for estimates through the Yelp site and here are the results: 1) Hawaii Junk Removal- Messages me through the Yelp site about 1 week after my initial request 2) Johnny the Mover- Messages me through Yelp denying any affiliation with the original owner 3) Oahu Junk Removal- GOT THE JOB The communication was done via yelp message between myself and Ann, the office manager. She sent James to give me an estimate. I got the estimate within 24 hours of James' visit. The job was scheduled and the work was done expediently, accurately and with a smile. The payment is done through credit card. An invoice is emailed to you and you pay them electronically with credit card or electronic check. (note- this review was supposed to be written last week because it was Thank You Thursday and that was the day the job was done; I'm late! Sorry but the intention was there!) read more

I highly recommend Oahu Junk Removal! Great customer service with Ann! John Cruz and his son had done an AMAZING JOB in an estate clean out in less a than a day. Oahu Junk Removal - Empty storage shed - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me

We had a weird situation where we didn't know the people that were living in our rental and they got kicked out however they had a lot of junk. Our property manager suggested to rent a dumpster, but who would move all the junk to it? That is where Oahu Junk Removal comes in. They have great communication and a hard working team! We filled up 2 truckloads of junk from the previous tenant and the items were pretty heavy! Overall the experience was great and I would use them again. read more

First time using this company, and I must say, it was the best! Very responsive and reasonable prices. I just had a Cal King bed set/frame removed from a condo, and they did an excellent job! Even though they were busy, they still arrived on time. I would highly recommend them for your needs as they are very professional and they get the job done. Give them a call, you won't regret it! read more

Their service & communication was top notch from the start. Easy to contact, they responded to questions and did a great job with clean up! I will definitely call them again! Mahalo! read more

Oahu Junk Removal (OJR) is definitely the best local junk service you can find. When they say "point at the junk and we'll do the rest" they really mean it! Some companies are picky with the kinds of materials they are able to take but not OJR. You got old furniture? Cool. Trash? Easy. Construction debris, yard waste, and scrap metal? Consider it gone. Ann is amazing; she called immediately afterwards to ensure I was satisfied with the service, and I most definitely was. ERIC and ERIN did a phenomenal job today clearing out my garage and back yard. They were experts at balancing efficiency of work with exceptional customer service. Thanks for the hard work and genuine conversation guys! We could use more guys like you in the military for sure. 100% will recommend Oahu Junk Removal to my family and friends. read more

Can I Just say WOW!!! James, Crosse & Ann were amazing!!! If your looking for a company to haul your junk. Look no further! OAHU JUNK REMOVAL IS THE ONE! :) We originally had another company scheduled for our junk removal & they canceled. So I was on the hunt to find another company since we needed our home emptied for our renovations. At first I was bummed bc I had requested a quote & called 2x, no response. I guess 3rd time was the charm lol. Ann apologized & had an understanding explanation as to why they didn't respond. On top of that she was able to schedule my junk removal the very next day like I was hoping! & to top it off her quote was almost $400 less than what another company quoted me! Ann was quick to respond to all my questions & was friendly to work with. James & Crosse came later than the time frame given, but that wasn't a problem. James had called to let me know they were gonna be running late & he also called as they were on their way. When the truck pulled up I was thinking they wouldn't be able to fit all our items we wanted removed, boy was I wrong! They did such an amazing job in making mostly everything fit. They really bussed their butts & got the job done in a timely manner! James & Crosse was also friendly & nice to talk to. I can't thank Oahu junk removal enough for their help & lifting this weight off our shoulders. You've left an awesome impression & I will recommend everyone needing your type of service your way!! Thanks again so much!!! read more

Very pleased with Oahu Junk Removal. Needed a bunch of trash piled up GONE (junk and trash that had just accumulated in the yard over the years, including a lot of cardboard). The blue/green/black trash cans would have never allowed us to get rid of this amount of junk, and no one in the family owns a pickup truck to take all of it to the refuse center. They gave a quote for $150 from the pictures I sent. We scheduled an appointment time, and someone came to pick up all of the junk. It ended up filling up a lot more of the truck than I thought. I would definitely use their services again, and I found the price to be very reasonable considering how much trash/junk we had to get rid of. read more

It's feedback for Nov 2022 service. I was looking for the junk removal service near to my house & found Oahu Junk Removal on Yelp. I didn't use Yelp for the quote because I didn't want any other company to contact me. So I went to their website for the quote. Ann immediately replied me after provided the info what I wanted to remove. It was reasonable price. She gave me couple days ahead to schedule, which was really faster than I expected. On the day, John & Jonna made courtesy call in advance that they would be a little late. As soon as they came, I explained what to remove & they got the job right away. They worked really hard & all the junk include wood materials were gone. I'm glad it's gone before new year. I'm so happy with their service. Highly recommended. read more

Great service.. called when they were running behind ... great crew from the start to finish.. I will definitely use them again . Thanks read more

Oahu junk removal is awesome! I've used them about 4 times so far. Usually always get next day service. They are fast and easy to communicate with. Ann is such a big help with scheduling appointments. The workers are nice and friendly when they pick up your items as well. They always come in cheaper than the competition. Nothing bad to say about this company. read more

My ex passed away very unexpectedly, and I was left with the huge task of taking care of his affairs. The biggest thing was clearing out his place by the end of the month, so I wouldn't have to pay an additional month of rent. He was a collector, and managed to collect a house full of STUFF. After taking out the smaller items, which was a task in itself, we were left with a bunch of huge items that we had to get rid of. I went on Yelp to look up junk removal. A few places popped that caught my eye and I decided to use the Yelp service of getting quotes from these businesses. Enter information and click send. How easy is that? Very quick responses with all the businesses. I read up on some reviews for all the ones that answered and felt like Oahu Junk Removal would be my best fit. The soonest they were able to come would be about 4 days away. Ann, the Manager said that their window would be between 11-1:00 and would call me 15 minutes before they arrive. Thinking about all the times when I've waited for companies with a "window"... Spectrum cable, appliance delivery, internet service - how many hours I was at their mercy waiting! Tuesday came. 11:00 I get a phone call. Hello! It's James from Oahu Junk Removal! Letting me know he would be there at 11:30. They pulled up right on time. James and Cross were my team, and they were both so polite, and put me at ease. I was a hot mess, did not give them the right amount of items to remove, washer and dryer were not disconnected, items much bigger than what they expected. They loaded up what they could fit in the truck, and helped me with disconnecting the washer and dryer ( because of liability, he showed me how to unscrew with a wrench he said he always carries in the truck). They had to go and empty the truck and said they would be back later in the afternoon. Same thing, called me 30 min away and met me back on time again. James and Cross took everything I needed taken, and even helped with the 2 extra garbage bags that I left for rubbish day. They worked with me on the price and was more than fair. In this stressful time, these past 3 weeks have been so difficult. Oahu Junk Removal have taken a huge weight off of me and I can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. James and Cross were awesome. Will definitely use them again if I need to, although I hope in different circumstances. read more

Oahu Junk Removal was awesome!!! They broke things down and loaded the truck so efficiently. From what I thought would have been two truck load, they fit everything on one load. They even swept the area clean when they were done. I will definitely call Oahu Junk Removal again. read more

Today was my second time using this company. Kaleo was my mover (both times). He was professional and efficient. Both times, he wasn't late, in fact, a little early which was perfect for me. He even removed his shoes when I told him not needed. He was a super duper nice guy. I highly recommend Oahu Junk Removal. Price is right and professional. This company deserves 5 stars and beyond. read more

Inquired through online chat for an estimate on my couch I wanted to get rid of and they responded instantly with an affordable rate and were able to come pick up the next day. 2 guys arrived as scheduled with a large pickup and removed my sofa bed couch within 10 minutes. Originally, I had brought it into my house disassembled since the couch was too large and we were having difficulties trying to fit it through the front door (literally playing tetris) but they were able to bring it out in one piece! Barely touched the doorway! Awesome job, no hassle, fast, efficient, affordable! Support local! I definitely recommend hiring them for your next move or if you want to get rid of any unwanted junk or furniture. read more

OJR checks all the boxes: We inquired with several junk removal companies to haul out a queen-sized mattress, box spring, and a metal frame. Fast. Easy. Fair. Done. I had a broken queen size metal bed frame that I needed to get rid of. I dreaded the thought of having to move it down from my condo myself and take it to Kapaa Quarry. I was hesitant to use a junk removal service just for that because a specific national competitor that I've used before has fairly high minimums, and for just the bed frame it simply didn't make money-sense. I requested a quote through Yelp and Ann got back to me right away. She offered an estimate and a same-day pickup, the price was so fair that I committed and scheduled instantly. The two gentlemen that arrived (on time) were very friendly and professional. Job well done. Thank you, will use again! read more

They are very nice and helped me with my move out. I had a specific budget I couldn't go over it so I was picking and choosing what would be picked up or not. They worked with me and made it so that everything was picked up. Ann handled everything via message so I wasn't worried that my final quote would end up being more then what we agreed upon. Unlike the other companies who kept telling me it was just the "minimum" charge and it depended on the pick up. I highly recommend them! read more

I contacted them via Yelp and Ann was very helpful. My friend originally wanted the bed frame and king mattress but at the last minute he changed his mind so I had to again find someone to pick up my mattress. Ann was great and it was Ben better that they had a Saturday opening. They called me before arriving and was early so that made everything better. The guys that came to pick up my stuff was very friendly and polite. I would recommend this business to everyone that wants to get rid of their bulky stuff. read more

I don't have the time, resources, or energy to go and take items to the dump as I work a 9to5 M thru F job. I decided to give Oahu Junk Removal a try. I received a quote for the items I listed and manager was responsive. A long heavy couch, 3 twin size mattresses, a coffee table, 2 broken lamps, coffee table, wooden gates for 160. On the day of pick up, I received a call that they were on the way. There were 2 guys who came and were respectful/considerate. They came, picked up my items, and did the job. I didn't have to move anything. Quick and easy. I was able to pay with credit card and received an email receipt. I was satisfied with the whole process. I do intend to use them again read more

This review is in response to Ann's comment back to Kenny H. You said he became "irate, aggressive and threatening" to your workers and that "the safety of your team is of utmost importance." However, Kenny was not even there! Your workers came and didn't think their truck could fit down my driveway, so after a few minutes of debating whether they should try or not we decided they would come back another day with a smaller truck. Kenny just said your company needs "better communication between their workers and their office." For you to say he became "irate, aggressive and threatening" is a blatant lie. I don't understand why you need to slander someone in this way. You should consider deleting your comment. read more

These guys were awesome, fast and reliable. Removed everything in one load. Great customer service too

We needed immediate next day mattress and box spring removal and Ann was so quick to get back to me and schedule a time the very next day. The price was affordable too. Definitely recommend them and will be using this company again if needed. Mahalo for your help. read more

Services: Junk removal. Construction debris, old appliances, old mattress and worn out couch removal, heavy metal items, or concrete blocks...they will take almost any item as long as it is not a toxic chemical or liquid paint. Size is not an issue as long as it will go into their large truck. If you think you have an item that is too weird, dirty, heavy, large or unconventional...they will probably take it. Pricing: It goes by how much of the truck is filled. $120 minimum and $680 max. The truck is 14 x7 x7 ft. It is huge and holds a lot of stuff. To get an estimate over the phone, you can list the items and they will calculate the space taken and give you an accurate estimate. You could also send a photo too. The quotes for each of my 3 experiences were $225 max. I felt the charges were a good value because you only see half of the process. They still have to dispose of your large heavy items after they pick it up. Service: The lady on the phone calls back quickly and is helpful with information, quotes and scheduling. The guys on the truck are pleasant, confident, helpful, and VERY hardworking!! 5 Star Service for sure. Payment is by credit card over the phone after the work is done. Other payment options may be possible. I have no hesitation in recommending Oahu Junk Removal. Three junk removal trips to my house and I think I'm done, but, I know who to call if I find something else. read more

5 Stars all the way! Extremely easy to work with! I highly recommend this company. I needed my old mattress taken away from my walk-up unit. The earliest bulky item pickup was over a month out. Decided to go with a junk removal service, made an inquiry and got a straightforward quote, and scheduled the pick-up for the next day. The team that came by was polite and worked fast. Very professional! Paying with my credit card over the phone was easy and I made sure to add gratuity for the team that came by. Anne, James, Chris and the entire crew did a wonderful job clearing out my mom's property. It was definitely not an easy job and they got the job done same day and under the estimated price. They ran into some problems with another truck on another job site so they had to leave to help with that job. Anne knew the importance of getting our job done so the crew came back and finished it later that day. I appreciate all of the hard work and professionalism. Also, I will say Anne is very professional and responsive. She even responded to my email at 10 pm the night before. Great work everyone! Much appreciated. James read more
