Mahalo to Zakea and Pono at Kana'i's Rolloff for taking care of a full junk removal for me. From start to finish, everything was smooth and easy. They showed up on time, were friendly, respectful, and just great people to work with. They got the job done fast and efficiently, and I really appreciated the upfront pricing before they started--fair, honest, and no surprises. You can tell they take pride in their work and in serving the community. Highly recommend Zakea and Pono if you need junk removal done right. I'd definitely use them again without hesitation. read more

If you're looking for hassle-free hauling, look no further. Zakea, Xavier, and Erik from Kana'i's Rolloff helped us remove a heavy power rack and several weight sets that my family no longer used. I loved that I could just message them on Instagram to get everything set up. They showed up on time and were in and out in less than 30 minutes. I called a couple of places for a quote and Kana'i's had the friendliest intake call, so I decided to schedule with them. I called here too because they followed me on Instagram and they have great videos and seem to do their jobs well. The two hour window of time was nice so I was not having to wait all day or even 1/2 day. Over the phone they shared how pricing and space worked. That upon arrival they would quote for me and I would have the option to pass or agree and they could haul away immediately. (Based on my small job.) When they arrived, the quote took less than 5 minutes, was in alignment with other quotes from other companies and less than one I had from a mainland company over the phone. Removal was swift! The three person team was very friendly, engaging, and even made fun jokes. I would definitely recommend this company! read more

We have been working with Kanai for over a year or so now and I have been meaning to post this much sooner! Kanai's Junk Removal has been our go-to for job site bins and junk removal, and they've been great to work with. They're very responsive, we can request a day before or even the same day, and they do their best to accommodate. As roofers, our schedule is heavily affected by weather, and they've been extremely flexible with last-minute changes or rescheduling when things shift. That reliability makes a huge difference for us. They're reasonably priced and dependable, honest, and we never have to worry about chasing anything down or not having what we need, they take care of it. They also handle trash pickup at our office, which has been a big help. They've been great to both us and our customers, and they've become our go-to for junk removal. Highly recommend. read more

Can't thank KANA'I'S ROLLOFF enough for helping the community. So much mud, flood damage, and trash everywhere after the floods in Waialua on March 20th 2026. KANA'I'S ROLLOFF spent hours in traffic to come up to the North Shore to haul multiple full dumpsters loads of flood damaged items from peoples homes FREE of charge. Kana'i's Junk Removal - The awesome crew. - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Aiea, Hawaii

My free estimate was set for 12-2pm. It was confirmed multiple times over text. Day of I called multiple times to check where they are but only spoke to an ai. Around 1:45pm I get a text saying they're "on their way" but tracker said it'll take 30min. When I called them, they said they had me scheduled for 2-4pm. Wasted 2 hours waiting around, wish they could have answered their phones so I could at least reschedule but it was busy each time I called and only ai answered. And wasn't till almost 2 someone was able to answer but wanted me to wait some more. Don't think I'll look into their service again. read more

I was hesitant in hiring a junk removal company to clear out my 70 year old dad's apartment for a couple of reasons - one being that my dad / stepmom had accumulated quite a lot of stuff over 25+ years and two, the place was really messy BUT Kanai's Junk Removal were very professional from start to finish!! Berayden responded to my inquiry on Yelp and was not pushy at all! Great communication and kept things simple. The Crew was AMAZING!!! Brevin, Kaleo, and Joon (spelling?!? ) were professional from the moment they came out of the truck to removing all the items in the apartment with no judgement (just a few laughs ) to talk story here and there to ending the time with a smooth transaction and and a group photo of the crew!!! Awesome service from Brandon and Micah, they were able to get the job done fast and easy. Last second predatory pricing. Quoted a price of $167 with adjustments on site after seeing the items for removal. One bed and mechanical frame. After review of the bed, quote became $700. The removal was for parents home, and they arrived before I got there. Parent approved the new quote. We had a hospital bed about to be delivered. And I told them that, my mistake. The truck was empty, so they had room, it was the end of the day. They did not have another pick up. $480 charge suppose to include disposal and labor, etc. Yet there was another $180 labor charge. Charge twice for labor. Be careful using this company, be prepared to say No Thanks. read more

Started off by putting in a request a quote on Yelp and Kana'i's Junk Removal was the first to reply- very fast and prompt communication. In the request quote form I included the items that I wanted to get rid of and then they gave me a window of when they would come by- they also texted me when they were about 5 minutes out. We're turning one of our guest rooms into a proper office so we mainly needed to get rid of a bed, bed frame, and box spring. We did note these items in the quote, but it wasn't until they got here that we learned that it would be an additional $50 per item since they would need to dismantle those items before taking them to the dump. The price of how much space it would take up in the truck plus the extra $100 fee for the dismantling was a bit step, totaling almost $500. We ended up just getting rid of the bed headboards and a few other miscellaneous things we needed to get rid of in our garage for the 1/8th truck price of $168. I wish they were more transparent with their pricing, since I did have so many other junk removal companies reach out. I think providing customers with the pricing based on how much of the truck it fills out would be fair and of course let us know of any upcharges based on specific items. I do also have to mention that while the virtual communication was friendly and prompt, the onsite communication was very low energy and a bit awkward. I totally get that it was towards the end of their work day but I did expect a bit more since our online / text communication was so friendly. read more

They responded quickly to my original inquiry, set up a pick-up quickly, and the price was reasonable. Basically all I'm looking for in this kind of situation is: Speed - they were fast. Don't damage my home - their two workmen were respectful of my home, and removed some huge items without damaging my walls or floors. Keep appointment - their workers did a good job not only setting the pick-up time - they communicated with me before their arrival, and after evaluating the job in person, they provided a time estimate that they met. Reasonable Price - I got estimates from several vendors and they were competitive. They checked all my boxes - I can't speak for their other work teams, but the two gentlemen that helped me did great. read more

You call, they haul! Having to move offices is never fun and having to figure out what goes, what stays, what can be donated vs. what needs to be hauled away, is never easy. After determining items that fell into the "junk" category, I needed to find resources to help remove it all. On my way into work, I saw a sign for Kana'i's Junk Removal - it must have been the universe sending me a message. I called and spoke with Berayden, who did an excellent job explaining the services they provide, scheduling timeline, and cost. He even came out to our office to do a walkthrough with me to understand our needs. I didn't need to look any further - first impressions are everything and I got good vibes off the bat. I scheduled a pick up date and time, then prepared as much as I could for their Team to have full access and space to haul our old office equipment. On the day of my appointment, three young men arrived on time and ready to tackle the day. If all my future interactions will be like this, guarantee I'll be using Kana'i's Junk Removal. The young men were very kind, considerate, professional and friendly. Not a major deal-breaker in anyway, but I do appreciate Kana'i's for having professionalism in their uniforms. Berayden and the three young men that came by were all dressed nicely - a good representation of their company. I had to take a few calls while they were working and honestly, you couldn't even tell they were hard at work lifting and hauling - they worked swiftly and efficiently. Customer Service - Excellent Professionalism - Great Communication - Very Efficient More now than ever, support local! They are quick to respond and in our case we definitely needed to have some stuff hauled away ASAP. With our tight schedule they were able to come out and take all the stuff we needed removed. As others have noted they charge based on 'space' taken up in the hauler, and while the estimate felt fudged (quoted 1/3rd of the space when it was more like 1/4), I was willing to pay whatever it took to remove the items because of our deadline. The guys who came out were young and friendly. Minus 1/2 star for a guess-timate system that could be more accurate and minus 1/2 star on professionalism. But all that aside, I'd use them again without a doubt. read more

Let me start by saying, Kanais Junk Removal was recommended by my realtor. I believe the price of the service was reasonable and fair. I was really impressed at the quality and level of service that they provided. They arrived way before the appointment time and were ready to go. Once I opened the door and pointed to specifically what needed to be taken, the boys (Joshua, Kalama, Alika, June, Dreyden and David) went to work. I also met the owners and they were wonderful to work with (very nice and understanding). So, when you are in need to Junk removal services, please do hesitate to contact Brook and Kanai (the owners). read more
