I purchased a battery at this location and on discovering that it was defective I returned it. Oh…read morethe staff was friendly enough when selling the battery but when faced with proof of a defective product they became quite unfriendly and uncooperative, even to the point of being threatening. In the end all that they would do was "pro-rate" a battery that was less than a month old and replaced it with a battery that I deemed suspect. I have decided that I will have no further dealings with this local business and I suggest that you do not deal with them either. It's just not worth the hassle and intimidating behavior of the staff. I recommend that you seek out a reputable large regionally established businesses that has policies against rude intimidating employees and back up their products when defective. Their battery was tested with the negative clamp detached isolating it from the vehicle and periodically measuring the standing voltage with a multi-meter. These are the results of the test. As you can see this demonstrates an average voltage loss of over 1% a day, TWICE the industry standard. A flooded car battery discharge rate is about 1% per day at room temperature, 0.25% per day at 10 °C (50 °F) and 1.5% per day at 30 °C (86 °F). This self discharge percentage is the percentage of the remaining capacity, so a flooded lead acid battery will still have 50% of its capacity remaining after 6 months. Low-maintenance and sealed batteries have lower discharge rates of less that 0.5% per day and calcium-lead batteries can have a self discharge of less than 2% per month. Once a wet acid battery falls below 12.3 volts, it can deteriorate quickly and start to sulfate rapidly.

The gentleman was knowledgeable and accommodating, and went out of his way to Install the battery. Prices were good and I was given the online discount. I live 26 miles away from this business. Calling them because they carry unusual batteries. I tld…read morethe guy I wanted to see if they had the battery I need. No numbers on the battery. Told him the color and what the dimensions were as for the positive side was indented. It was closer to the size of a C battery than an AA. He checked and said he had three different battery that fit my description. I started my 26 mile treck to the business. When I get there and show him , he shows me a battery that is a little longer than the one I want to replace. I asked him what did the other ones look like, you said you have three. He said he thought it was a different battery? As I described it in every way. Now they only have one that might work ????? I did buy it and it did not work. I brought it back for a refund. As I was leaving he said try the smoke shop down the road , they may carry the battery I need. I stopped in the smoke shop across from Knights Street lay gold course. As I walked in and was greeted by a guy. I said I was sent down from Battery shop, he said the number ID of the battery I needed. I did not say a word and he knew what I was looking for. He said the Battery place sends a lot of people down. They were out of stock on that battery at the time. Knowing what the guy at the Vape/ Smoke shop told me , why did the guy at the Battery place sell me a battery he knew did not work. That was a 54 mile trip to and from this business. Instead of doing the right thing for customers, they will sell you what knowingly will not work. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with this business. They wasted my time, miles on my car and gas. All for nothing. Beware of the guy with colored hair.
