I scheduled an appointment with Leith Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to view a specific truck. Upon arrival, I was told there was no record of my appointment and the truck I came to see was not on the lot. I was informed this was due to issues with the dealership's third-party scheduling system. If this is a known problem, it should be corrected rather than passed on to customers. According to the salesman, this has been a continuous issue for the dealership for quite a while. Despite the vehicle being unavailable, I stayed to discuss pricing so the process could move forward once the truck arrived. During that conversation, I was repeatedly asked how serious I was as a buyer, even though I had taken the time to come in person and was prepared to purchase. The dealership promotes a "no hassle, no haggle" pricing model, but the numbers were not presented clearly. An optional theft recovery add-on was initially included in the pricing and only removed after I questioned it. This was far from transparent and very clearly counter to their no haggle no hassle claim. My interaction with the sales team was far from professional throughout the entire interaction. The salesman failed to even provide his name and immediately jumped into trying to get me to agree to a sale even though the truck wasn't even present for me to assess. The interaction also reflected a lack of understanding of basic financing and payment options. When I explained that I would provide a certified check, the salesman did not appear to know what a certified check was, which was frankly surprising and did not inspire confidence in the professionalism of this dealership. I was then told the truck would be ready the following day between noon and 1 PM and that I would be contacted with an update. No one followed up. After the visit, I sent an email to dealership leadership outlining these concerns and giving them an opportunity to respond or address the experience directly. That communication was also ignored. This review is not based on price or negotiation outcome. It is based on avoidable issues with appointment management, transparency, communication, and follow-through. My current issue is their lack of integrity and repairs. I brought my truck in Dec 28th 2025 for repair due to a faulty fuel pump. I told them that the fuel pump was the issue, however, they "diagnosed" a faulty starter. The dealership ended up replacing the starter that was working just fine, leaving me with a faulty fuel pump still that worked intermittently. In their verbiage via service records I obtained clearly shows that they never even addressed the fuel pump, they just looked at the starter motor completely dismissing my concerns. March 8th 2026, the truck dies again, with the same issue, in the middle of a busy parking lot on a steep slope leaving me stranded and blocking traffic. I paid out of pocket, even though my warranty covers towing, to have to truck towed back to the dealership for the same issue. This time they finally admit the fuel pump was the original issue but refuse to assist by providing a loaner vehicle. Since they diagnosed the wrong part and completely dismissed my concerns, they should have provided a loaner since I am now without a vehicle again due to their incompetence. I have paid almost $2000 in rental car fees thus far due to their negligence and incompetence. Simply put, they refuse to help a long-time customer and a Dodge/Ram owner of the last 25 years simply because they don't want to cover rental fees - in their own words "We wont be reimbursed". This organization makes millions in revenue but still refuses to help long-standing loyal customers. Nothing but greed within their walls. Beware of all business you do with them, read the fine print, ask all the questions because they will find a way to rip you off. I know they will respond to this with their same song and dance asking to call management, however, speaking to them has done nothing. read more

- BE WARNED RUN the other way. This is, hands down, the most untrustworthy service center/ mechanic in the area. Our experience with them has been a perfect storm of negligence, incompetence, and unfortunately probably just simple dishonesty. Firstly I'll say, I'm not one to leave bad reviews unless I have a very serious experience at an establishment It all started nearly a year ago with a negative experience I hoped was a one-off. Fast forward to now -  not having much option but to go back as the next closest Jeep place is about 30 minutes away, we decided to give them another chance as we needed some minor bodywork on our vehicle. Chalked up the previous negative experience to possibly a bad worker at the time that might no longer be working there The current issue we have is the tailgate hinges, hinge covers, and what holds the trunk open and closed has become damaged. What should be a simple fix (as expressed by them) has become a months long process that has still yet to be resolved. When you call them it's impossible to get ahold of the manager, can't leave a voicemail for them to call you back because the voicemail box is full, so you have to keep calling and calling or showing up in hopes you can get ahold of someone. When you do finally get in touch with someone they don't have dates when your parts will be in, promise to call you back "tomorrow" with more information and never do the last time we left our jeep there - as one of the seat heaters weren't working they took hours to "inspect the problem" charged several hundred dollars just for the inspection and we ended up with the back mat of the trunk missing. They claimed it wasn't there when we brought it in and offered no resolution. As we didn't have any video evidence to prove it, what can you do? Final Thoughts -- I've never been treated with less importance from another place in recent memory. Whether it's deception or just incompetence, this service center fails at every level. If you value your vehicle, sanity, and wallet, do not give these people your business. They will waste your time and leave you more frustrated than when you started. Absolutely Unprofessional Experience - Deeply Disappointed My partner and I located a 2022 Ram 3500 Big Horn that perfectly fit our towing requirements for our 2021 Grand Design Momentum 351M M-Class. We contacted the dealership immediately when they opened at 8:30 AM to confirm availability and offered to place a deposit or hold payment to ensure the vehicle would not be sold before we arrived, as we were traveling over nine hours from out of state. The receptionist transferred me to the sales manager, and I left a detailed voicemail explaining our situation. No one returned the call. At 9:00 AM, we submitted a "schedule a test drive" request through their website. Within one minute, a salesperson called and confirmed the truck was available. We clearly communicated our travel plans and intent to purchase, and the salesperson assured us the information would be immediately passed to management and that the vehicle would be ready upon our arrival. We then booked an Airbnb nearby and began our trip, bringing along our working K9. During the six-hour drive, no one from the dealership contacted us. We even texted the salesperson mid-drive to confirm the truck was still available -- he verified that it was and reiterated he had notified his sales manager that morning. When we were just 50 minutes away, the sales manager finally called to say that "someone is coming in to buy the truck at 4:30." There was no apology, no effort to make things right, and no accountability. The situation was handled poorly from start to finish, especially considering the extensive communication and effort we made to ensure clarity. After taking every responsible step -- calling early, leaving messages, confirming multiple times, and offering to place a deposit -- we were treated as if our time and money had no value. This experience reflects extremely poor business ethics and unprofessional conduct. Out-of-state buyers should be cautious. So, to be clear, this is for their Service Department. Had my 2024 Ram Rebel in Friday for an oil change / tire rotation, and replace a fog light (shouldn't be going out with only 8k miles on the truck) but they got the part overnight from ATL. Stopped in Saturday morning and was told 45-60 minutes. Well, 1.5 hours later (on my Saturday), I was informed that they are not able to complete the light replacement due to a screw not coming out and that I will have to bring it back Monday...like, seriously, WTH. I could've gotten that far in less time watching a YouTube video. The only saving grace (coming back another day is not a win for a light bulb change) but Charlotte is going to have a rental (covered under warranty anyway). This is in regard to the Service Department. I would give it zero stars if possible. On 4/7/2025, I had to take my RAM 1500 into to have the codes cleared because my battery died. I called the Service Department and was told to go ahead and bring the truck to them and they would clear the codes. I had to work, and my wife happened to be off, so she took my truck to the dealership. Once there, they told her my truck had 69 codes and that a technician would need to look at it before clearing them. They then said it may take a little while before a technician was available to look at it. I decided to pick up my wife on a break from work and told her to let them know to just go ahead and perform an oil change and tire rotation while they had it since it would be there for a little while. The service employee, Kayla, told her that they offered an oil change package deal which included 3 oil changes for $240. On top of that they were currently offering a $50 discount so the price would be $190 for 3 oil changes. That seemed pretty reasonable, so we decided to purchase the oil change package. That evening when picking up the vehicle we were told our total bill was $342.67. The bill breakdown shows a labor charge of $319.99, a miscellaneous charge of $46.99, less $50 discount and sales tax of $25.69. We questioned the total with the same service rep my wife spoke to in the morning. She told her the oil package cost $290 minus $50 discount (making it $240), a charge of $29.99 for rotating the tires, a miscellaneous charge of $46.99 for disposal of materials and sales tax of $25.69. This is about $100 more than we were told it was going to be. First of all, the oil package went up from the quote of $190 after discount to $240 after discount and then they also added a charge of $46.99 to dispose of materials which they explain is for materials disposed of. This seems unethical and dirty. Why would you not include the disposal fee in the package price and if it is not included, that should be made known before hand. The service rep asked another service rep to help explain the charges to us, but he just reiterated the same thing stating that is just what they do. It was almost closing time and we had another appointment to make prior to 6pm, so we could no longer argue the issue with them. My wife called the service manager, Jim Cassel, the next day and had to leave him a voice message. He called the next day during her working hours and left a message as she was unable to answer the call while working with patients. She returned the call after work and again had to leave him a voice message. She stated her working hours and asked for him to call her after 2pm. Then over a week later, with no additional return calls from Mr. Cassel, she called him again. After multiple times, she was finally able to contact him. She tried to explain the situation and ask for an explanation for the difference in the oil package quote and the final bill total. He pretty much just stated the same as the service reps, but then also noted, that all people make mistakes. That was it! That is what he considers customer service, and he offered nothing else... We understand people make mistakes, but the difference is we were raised to own our mistake, take responsibility for them, and to make them right. Unfortunately, Leith Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Aberdeen, NC doesn't have customer satisfaction as a priority. Secondly, Mr. Cassel then tried to say that their business is "transparent" by not including the disposal/shop charge included in the oil change package like other businesses do. What? It is more transparent to include the charge sir rather than tack it on to the end without disclosing to the customer that is how you conduct business. That was $46.99 that we were not told up front that we would be charged. Due to this, we only plan to have our vehicle serviced for the next two oil changes that they owe us. Please learn from our experience and have your service performed elsewhere. read more

3/29/2021 - I am revising my review for Leith Chrysler. - After owning the 2020 Pacifica for about 4 months and having less than 5000 miles the van started to leak in the back / collecting rain water in the 3rd row well for the seats. The repairs started 2/15/21 and finally resolved 3/25/21 after 3 attempts by the dealer. I get it sometimes things happen and Chrysler stood behind the van 100% and the leak is fixed. However my big complaint is the quality of workmanship of the service department. My van was returned to me the final time filthy. I went through the expense of putting in floor liners. Since the techs had to work inside the van they tracked mud and dirt into the van. That is understandable. What I don't understand is why they will not clean up after themselves. Today 3/29/21 I was cleaning the top of the van and discovered the techs got body seam sealer all over the panoramic sun roof glass. This is the final straw for me. I will be contacting the general manager of Leith and contacting Chrysler. Either they will clean the sealer off of the glass to my satisfaction or replace the glass. Either way I am completely done with this dealership. It is obvious to me that they do not care about the quality of their work or property that belongs to a customer. 1/19/21 - I had some warranty work completed on my 2020 Pacifica Hybrid. I was very please with the experience from diagnosing the problem to ordering the parts and having them installed. Service Advisor Tiffany is a rock star. She is very helpful and communicates flawlessly during the process. Initial Review - I am happy to say that my warranty issue with the Pacifica was resolved 100% The sales experience was very pleasant. I have a 2021 Ram 1500 and took it to Leith Ram to have it serviced, they sold me 3 oil changes at a reduced rate that was good for one year. I have been back twice and each time they told me it would be 1 and 1/2 hours before they even started on my truck. They will not allow customers to schedule a routine service visit yet expect customers to wait in excess of 2 hours. I went right around the corner to "The Oil Changer" and was in and out in 30 minutes. I have now figured out why Leith Ram sold me a multiple oil change package, they know that most customers will not use all 3 service because who can wait 2+ hours for an oil change. read more

Brought in my wrangler for a EGR valve replacement, according to everything I researched, replacement is 1 1/2 hours and the Mopar EGR valve is $140.00. We pull up to the dealership (financing already secured through navy federal!) and he asked if he could test drive it. I think I got the better end of the deal, particularly because my wife probably won't let me take her car in for an oil change now! The good: I had a great buying experience. Bill did a great job, no pressure, just great conversation. He was willing to talk about the car, or wherever the conversation took us, while I thought about the purchase. Truly no hassle. Sloan in the 'hated' paperwork room was a true gentleman. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and funny, he walked me through all the paperwork and even got me a great interest rate. Where they can improve: Service department. I had a 9 am appointment for an oil change that ended up taking 5 hours...but I'll give them an hour back for the rainstorm that knocked out there computers. Although I have a Toyota Camry, I decided to go to this particular dealership because my car Pinkberry is a princess and I was scared to take her to the Toyota dealership due to its AWFUL reviews. I needed to get my vehicle serviced and although I had an appointment for a Friday, I had some open time in the morning on Wednesday and they just saw me right then and there. Although it falls under express services, I was very pleased with how accommodating they were. Although it took a minute, they were able to pull up my needed services based on mileage for my Toyota and performed it in about 1hr 15min. In total, I was in the shop for 1hr 45min. I was happy with the package I got- 4 tire rotations and 4 oil changes with synthetic as opposed to conventional (which is cheaper by about 50%) for a little over 200$ (?). The only thing I was a little put off by was the customer service of one of the receptionists at the service desk. He wasn't overly helpful in helping me figure out what services Pinkberry needed because she is a Toyota. He almost seemed annoyed pretty much telling me, "well, it's not a Toyota so I don't know what to tell you". Overall, I am pleased with my experience and I will be back- That and I have no choice, I purchased the package! read more

If you are going to need a car repaired there and not have a warranty run the other way. I took my car in to be repaired after calling just about every week and getting the run around for about a month. My husband had to go into Leith to find out what is wrong FINALLY we were told that the engine had to get new heads. This job went from $700 at the beginning to about $2800. We had to wait to get the car back till we had gotten our tax check. Within 1500 miles the car started leaking oil. My husband took the car back and was told to leave the car and it would cost another $500 and they would get to the car sometime in the next 2 weeks. I told my husband we will go to a real mechanic. I now have my car in the shop with another mechanic. Leith worked on my engine and did NOT put seals on the Crankshaft or the heads. They also refuse to pay for the mess up they did. I will never go to this dealership again. I will go up to Sanford. read more
