Told them I needed windshield wipers and a cabinet filter. She looked it up, took me to the aisle showed me the different prices and she picked the right sizes. I ordered a part online for pickup at this store. Received an email confirmation with a barcode and all the order details. Went to the store after work to pick up my part, they stated I wasn't in the system, asked to speak to a manager because according to my email The parts were ready to pick up at this store. Manager Tony Smith came over said the same thing told me I could call a 1-800 number, then when I asked for the number he decided to call it and the lady stated that the order was picked up earlier that morning, I said I was at work until 5:30 I didn't pick it up, he then told me, loud enough for all the other customers in the store to hear, well you're the only one who knew about the part, I said I didn't pick it up and he said well I'll have to call LP and have them run the cameras back, I said ok fine because I didn't pick up the part, he then came back out went over to where they keep the parts for online orders and found my order and said oh an employee earlier clicked on the wrong name and proceeded to give me my part and pay for the antifreeze I put on the counter. He never once apologized for accusing me of trying to pick up the same part twice, he could use a refesher in customer service, especially since I didn't do anything other than come to pick up the part I paid for. read more

Tony really helped us out when we needed him! We had to take a drive to Va over 200 miles and our cars battery was giving us problem and they helped us put in a new one in with an even higher voltage than our previous one that came with the car.. at an affordable price no less! read more

I'm gonna attempt to keep this short and sweet, you just don't get any better than Auto Zone in Cameron, NC! What other store has great shopping for everything car/truck, plus helps you dispose of old used motor oil? Who else helps people with batteries and the biggie for me, the Auto Zone Saints that go out and put on peoples wiper blades that need them changed in the pouring rain. What more is there to say? I was just at this store the other day and the store manager Tony was doing wiper blades in almost a mini hurricane, he was soaking wet and he walked back inside that store with a smile on his face, ready to help his employees out or the next customer. That Auto Zone has a pretty great crew! I just can't recommend it enough! read more

From the time I walked in the door until I walked out nothing but attitude. The lady was rude and short one answer responses to my question. No helpful at all, acted If she was being bothered, find another job of you hate yourself that much she should not be in the customer service field. The other associate was on a phone call on speakerphone and it wasn't work related. Professionalism goes a long way if you want repeat customers. They supposedly didn't have what i needed and I really didn't want to give them my money anyways. I won't return to many other options out there. read more

I came in in search of a spark plug for my lawnmower. All the other parts stores and or places that should carry it did not have any in stock. Needless to say finding a replacement wasn't as easy as searching for a car part. Rhonda spent 20 minutes doing google researches before finding a suitable replacement. She was extremely helpful. . Really difficult to go into this store and deal with the rude Melissa. If you go in and can avoid dealing with her your experience will be great. I have two stars because every time I have dealt with her makes it a terrible time. Never had problems with any other workers there. read more

Absolute incompetence. I spent over 15 min on the phone trying to find a spark plug boot. I told the associate that I needed a 135 degree boot and asked if he had any in stock. He put me on hold for about 3-5 min then came back on the line to ask me my vehicle information. While he was putting the information in the computer I heard him talking to another associate and tell him that "the costumer is looking for a spark plug boot that's a specific temperature". I corrected him and said, "it's not the temperature of the boot it's the angle". He then placed me on hold again. About another 3-5 min later he comes back and asks what my engine number was... After I told him I don't know he places me on hold again one last time. He comes back to tell me that they don't carry just the boot... Autozone, it would probably help if you taught your associates about the products they're trying to sell read more

I have to give an amazing shoutout to all the employees that worked in preparation for hurricane Florence. My husband and I had called almost every place imaginable, in a 20 mile radius, looking for generators and gas tanks. Even though this location was sold out, their customer service went above and beyond all the places we've reach out to. They were the only company that would put us on a waiting list or allow us to keep calling as they were trying their best to find and bring in more generators and gas cans that people were needing. In the meantime, employees stayed in contact with other businesses to recommended where we could find what we needed. I've probably spoken to several different employees, during that week, and all of them were willing to spend time helping me, all with a smile and no judgment for waiting till the last minute. We very much appreciate this customer service and I highly recommend this location above any in the area! read more
