While the first technician was repairing the charging port, he asked whether I also wanted to replace the battery because he said it was not in good condition. He explained that since the phone was already open, he could replace the battery for less than the normal price. I agreed. After he finished, I checked the battery settings and the battery performance was still showing 65%, the same as before the replacement. I asked him about this, and he told me that it would improve to 100% within 24 hours. He also told me that if it did not improve, I should bring the phone back within two days and they would replace it again. Unfortunately, the battery continued to perform the same way after the repair. I wasn't able to return immediately because of personal circumstances, so I went back about a week later. There was a different technician working that day. I explained what had happened and told him what the first technician had told me about returning if the battery did not improve. The second technician told me that he was not as experienced or trained as the first technician and did not want to open the phone to work on the battery. I left without the battery issue being resolved. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this store for phone repair. I paid to have the battery replaced, but the battery performance remained at 65%, and when I returned to have the issue addressed, it was not resolved. I am also pursuing the matter through the appropriate channels regarding the charge.

The Computer Dept said that they would, for $160 plus tax (I double-checked the price with 'P'), wipe the computer clean, save my documents, and that "it would be like a new computer." Upon delivery they charged me $256, adding on travel time and answerIng questions no one had previously mentioned. What they apparently didn't know is that the Apple Apps that I had used to access my documents are no longer available, even though it was the EXACT same operating system and computer I had. So it is basically useless to me. Why didn't they know that? While they offered to try to get those apps, they found only one of three and it has issues. The fonts are messed up, so when it prints, it's all distorted. I have no access to my accounting and spreadsheets data, nor my art. I do appreciate that at least one person was trying, maybe more to get the apps, but they couldn't. Yet one would think they would have either known that or tested it before delivery. I think there's even possibly a way they could've added those apps from another computer at their store. Not sure. Instead, they actually blamed it on my system. I am not happy to say the least, but they became contentious telling me that my computer was already useless when hacked and that I needed to buy a new one!! I thought I was getting one as good as new. If they believe that, they should never have taken my money. When I spoke up they said they were "ending their professional relationship with me." I certainly didn't see it professional to not take responsibility if a service renders a computer's files inaccessible. What I HAVE is a (hopefully) clean computer with Internet (which my iPad has), ability to open, access but not print documents, no access to important accounting or slideshows. What I DO NOT HAVE is money to buy a new computer. Professionals with ethics would say, "We didn't know this was going to be a problem. We take full responsibility and will refund your money since we did not deliver a usable computer as promised." Instead, they're not responding. I don't know if their Macintosh knowledge is not very good, but in any regard, they should have found a way to either deliver a workable "good as new" computer as promised or refund my money. Maybe you were lucky and got what you needed from this company. But if you have problems, apparently you can forget them taking responsibility, responsive customer service, or compensation for their errors. And absolutely without doubt this was their error.

I have been shopping at Auto Zones since I started driving. They had always been my goto place to…read morego and get whatever part my car may have needed. This was especially easy 'back in the day' before cars were run by computers. I knew how to change my own oil, change my brakes, give my car a tune up (my father made sure I'd never be at someone's mercy) and could always be assured that Auto Zone would give me the best of parts needed for whatever job. I once purchased a set of brake pads at Auto Zone that lasted FOREVER (until I sold the car at least). Since moving to the Burlington area, I've been trying out all sorts of places on a needed basis. I recently found myself desperate for windshield wipers as I left it too long. I used to rely on going to Auto Zone, buying blades & having a chat with the service person who followed me out to install them for me. Sadly, at this location, I bought a pair of blades (driver and passenger) spending a small fortune. The lady at the desk was very helpful as I didn't bring my reading glasses with me & couldn't make out the fine print in the catalog, but sadly, less than helpful in helping me (or finding someone who would help me) in putting them on. Yes, I realize that wiper blades are pretty easy to put on...once you figure out how to get off your old blades (each car is different), the thing is its messy. I was in my work clothes and didn't really feel like getting yellow pine pollen residue and dirt and grime on my work clothes. It was also the main reason I never minded paying a little extra at Auto Zone. If they are going to be like every other auto part store, without this added customer service aspect, what is the point in paying the higher prices? None.
