Before my husband and I left on vacation I went to Verizon Store to ask about the best way to use…read moreour phones internationally. We were told to buy an international plan at $100/month for each of us. (minus $12 for each due to a special rate) We were told this would cover all international use while on our cruise/land vacation. So we did. My bill came the other day with both $100 charges, plus an additional $197.00 charge. When I called I was told this charge was for calls made while on the cruise ship, which was in international waters. No mention by Verizon was ever made regarding very expensive charges while on the cruise ship. If I had known I would have waited to get on land internationally. Since we are old people, and not familiar with all these rules (international land but not international water) we are now stuck with these charges. Prior to our trip I thought I was being very vigilant and covering all my bases, but this "switch and bait" really tricked me up. Been Verizon customer for 30 yrs. Suggest Verizon makes it very clear that the international plan does NOT cover charges made on a cruise ship!!

This was one of the best experiences I have had at a mobile phone store! I came to this store…read morebecause my phone was not working properly. Maurice assisted my wife and I. He was very pleasant and easy to work with. They fixed my phone and even offered to contact another store just in case I would like additional assistance after they helped, but it was not necessary. They took the time to inspect and fix my phone. It appears they have a great selection of phones and have great employees! I highly recommend this store if you need anything Verizon.
