I've been going to O'Neill's Cinema since we moved to New Hampshire about 15-20 years ago, so this place truly feels like home to me. After it was sold years ago and not properly maintained, it honestly went downhill, which was so disappointing for longtime locals. I'm beyond happy to say the original family bought the theater back and wow, what a difference. The renovations are beautiful. I went last night and couldn't stop smiling. The energy is comfortable, welcoming, and cozy in the best way. There's now a small restaurant serving alcohol, appetizers, and food at very reasonable prices. Tuesday nights are an absolute steal - movies are only $7! The reclining seats are super comfortable, there's plenty of leg room, the theater seats are heated, and the staff is genuinely friendly. I honestly wouldn't change a thing. So grateful this family brought O'Neill's back to life. It's better than ever and I love supporting a place that clearly cares about its community. read more

Wow- I hadn't been to a cinema in over 10 years but decided to try this one. I was so impressed with the cleanliness, comfortable leather/ heated recliners and overall roominess. The pricing on Tuesdays can't be beat - all day $7!! There's even a restaurant in the lobby for lunch/dinner after a show. I've found a gem!!! read more

This is a small cinema located on Rt 102 in Londonderry. It has all the new releases. It kinda old and run down, but its not too bad so you don't stick you your seat. I like the membership card, each time you go they stamp your card and after 10 stamps, you get a free admission. Not bad! read more

My favorite thing about this place is the flying car animation that shows before each movie. It may be dated and the film may be worn, but it never gets old. If they ever stop showing that, I'll probably never come back to this place. That being said, the place is definitely decent. The prices are about average (maybe even a bit below), the projection is average, the film quality is average, and the sound quality is average. Some of the newer theaters are better than the older ones. Depending on when you go, sometimes you'll have to wait in a long line, and other times there won't be a line at all. The theaters are usually pretty clean, with some stray popcorn here and there. Sometimes the theater is less clean than other times, but it's never disgusting. It's not my favorite theater in the area, but if something I want to see is playing here and not at Flagship, I don't have a problem with going here. read more

I have to say I absolutely LOVED attending this theater. Every single face in the building was smiling and helpful. I learned that they employ many younger people- which I think is fantastic. They are instilling work ethic at a young age- and keeping it fun by providing unlimited movies and popcorn for the kids (employees). I asked two of the young men who were smiling if they loved their job- and BOTH were overjoyed to express just how much. There is a cool feature that allows you to select your seating (much like on an airplane). The seats are then comfy and new! Overall it was a great experience and I am happy that now we have a place close to home- and don't have to drive all the way to Newington. We will be back. read more

This movie theater has gone downhill drastically in the past few years. One would think the added competition of the new IMAX theater in Hooksett would compel O'neil Cinemas to improve the quality of their establishment and service, however this is not the case. The best theaters here are the larger ones, but with the advent of 3D the only thing that ever plays in these now are childrens' movies leaving other films to play on screens roughly the size of my television. Well no, they are bigger than that, but not by much and the seats kill my lower back every time. My main gripe is the terrible service. Service at a movie theater you ask? Yes, when there are technical problems they should a) fix them and b) offer some form of compensation for the lesser experience and inconvenience. From my experiences they do neither! Failing to fix the projector problems is inexcusable. Failing to offer any perks or free stuff for wasting your money seems to be major problem at a lot of businesses nowadays. One last annoyance is that they now require two weeks to elapse after a movie's release date before discounted passes can be used. This is supposedly because of "contractual agreements" with Sony yet the movie I attempted to see was associated with 20th Century Fox... read more

Was superbly disappointed when my family went to go see Malificent today. We went into the theatre and there were only 4 seats left (there were five of us) and the theatre said there were plenty of seats.... The only seats were singles spread throughout the theatre room. We got about dirty looks from 50 people as we asked people to move over and we had to resort to having my family sit on the stairs and my youngest In a seat next to us. They wouldn't refund our $ and I missed 1/2 the show making two trips back n forth to discuss seating options with the manager on duty. Great show and venue. Just a bad experience today. This is a cute little cinema. I've been here a few times with my girlfriend and we'll continue to stop by here. The prices are unbeatable when it comes tickets, and if you're looking for a comfortable movie theater with a small crowd, this is the right place for you. They have their fair-share of hiccups, like not turning down the lights until someone had to remind them too, but overall it's a great place for movie-goers if they're in the Londonderry area, and is cheaper than their Epping brother. read more

This used to be my favorite theater. Then again, we used to go to a lot more movies; can't say there's a lot these days that I would be willing to pay to see. The good first: Parking is good, and they have the BEST popcorn! Loved the seats in Theater #10 - comfy, squishy, slightly rocking. LOVED that the arm rest between the seats goes up - lets me reach the popcorn when hubby is holding it! Matinee prices are good - slightly less than other more-or-less local theaters. The bad: Concession prices, like everywhere. The biggest BAD, though, was the commercials. We were there about 15 minutes early, and sat through 20 minutes or more of CONSTANT commercials - no silly trivia, and only one preview. The rest were commercials. I've loved this cinema for an extremely long time now mainly because it's (in my vision) one of the best movie experiences. For some reason this theater is always empty (when i go-which is great) so my sister and i always get a perfect seat in the middle. I have to admit that the D-Box seats are cool and fun, and also have one of the best views of the screen (all the seats have an amazing view of the screen). Their service is always very good, and their staff is always smiling. Plus the snack variety is great too. Also you can get a free refill if you get one of the larger sizes. I like to get a large bag and share it with my sister, then get a refill as we leave so that we have their yummy popcorn for the ride home. The only thing i don't like about their drinks is that they seem to put a lot of ice in your cup, although all you have to do is ask for no ice. The best part about the whole theater are the seats. Every row of seats is elevated just a little bit so that even when a tall person sits in front of me it's OK because i can still see the screen (as long as they aren't that tall) Plus the seats are rather comfy and the floor is always clean. Also their surround sound is very nice even though at the very beginning it seems to be loud. Lastly is the 3-D movies which are amazingly good. Their 3-D showing are amazing, especially sense the surround sound is so realistic. Plus the 3-D glasses are just the right size to be able to fit over your regular glasses (if you have glasses like me) so i can still watch a movie and be comfortable with the 3-D glasses on. If I was to give them a tip, it would be to play more screenings of "The Giver"! (which is a movie I am just DYING to see) Amazing cinema, I loved it! read more

I went to see "The Great Gatsby" with my boyfriend here. It's a very small and quiet theater. We are use seeing theaters being busy. the prices for the tickets were great! We live in Massachusetts so paying $6.00 a ticket was amazing. The only thing I didn't like was they started the movie when the room was still bright, and they didn't dim the lights until 20 minutes into the movie. But over all the theater was great and we will be back. read more

I've been going to this cinema since the 80's and It has gone through a lot of changes.... Biggest change has been the stadium seating about a decade ago. Real nice comfortable seating with an intimate feel. They put on an addition about a decade ago and it is great- very clean! I almost wish they would take away one of the theaters by the bathrooms and redo the bathrooms to make them more modern and larger than the existing set up from when I was a kid in the early 80s.... They could also use the additional space for a game room! That would be really great for the kids! read more

Third visit in a row with problems. First time they sat us in wrong dbox seats and we missed first 20 minutes of the movie. Second time we sat in theater for an hour while technical problems kept the movie from starting. Third time lights didn't go out for 10 minutes and then ushers came in 15 minutes before movie ended and were talking loudly on their walkie talkies were set to loud and kept going off. Pissed! A bunch of idiots there, this theater will probably shut down. read more

I hate to diss a local business, but O'Neil could be cleaner and smell fresher. The projection was out of focus for Descendants Saturday night and I could hear booming noises from an adjacent movie. The sound level on the advertisements was deafening. These are patterns, not a one-time experience. Its only advantage is convenience since nearly all theaters show the same movies at around the same price. read more

Ticket prices were only $6 for matinees! We are visiting from Jersey where we pay $13-15 a ticket. The theatre was very clean and everyone was pleasant. Sound and picture quality was good. If you pay more you can watch a movie with motion activated seats. We will be going again before our trip is over. read more
