They've closed in Epping. Go to their newly improved cinema near Derry. Huge screens, restaurant and bar. Seating is to die for.

Actually this theatre has been revamped! It looks good now all stadium seating, and the stamp card is only 6 not 10

This was a very nice theater. We ordered our tickets online and also was able to order our popcorn…read moreand drinks to be delivered to our seats. Walking into the theater room I noticed the aisles were nice and wide. I love this because if you have to get up during the movie your not knocking people out of their seats as you squeeze by. Nobody loses their popcorn and beverages as you scoot by and it's easier to stay low and move quickly. Another great thing is the heated and reclining seats! Yes, heated!! They are so comfortable! Each seat has its own tray, too. Complete with a cup holder!! Our food was delivered just as the screen started up. The large popcorn and large drink combo was 12 dollars online with a 2 dollar delivery fee. My daughter didn't like her popcorn, though, as it was very dry. They definitely needed more butter. The bathrooms were very clean and the employees very friendly. I definitely would go back again.

We were in Theater #11 today, and the seats were disgusting, with the headrests worn through to…read morefabric and debris all over every seat we looked at. It wasn't crowded, at all, so we thought of moving, but we couldn't find two seats together in good condition. To make matters worse, there was a long strand of some kind of cobweb or gunk from the ceiling toward the front left of the theater, which blew in the air circulating and caused a shadow on the screen while the movie played. It was so gross and distracting. Why would they let a theater be this gross when it's hard enough to get people into the theater to begin with? Very bad. Expensive and shameful.

I suppose it's about time I update my review of this place once again. What prompted me to do this,…read moreyou ask? Well, a few things have changed since the last time I talked about it. Like.. The ticket scanners: first thing to understand is their location. No longer are they situated in the entrance area, which is now nothing more than a vacant waste of space. As if this wasn't bad enough, it actually gets worse. So, the scanners, now located directly next to the concession registers, are STILL broken beyond belief and, ergo, almost completely useless. Not only is having these things located where they are totally pointless; it's equally vexing that the only way to print your tickets out this way is to manually, painstakingly, input your confirmation number. I've never understood the supposed functionality of these things and I probably never will. Ordering food: it's back to the old school way of waiting for the server to arrive, placing your initial order, then tapping the light on the table for any reorders. Because the days of scanning the QR code on your table are over, it seems. At least....at the time of writing this review. I suspect, in part, because their in-house Wi-Fi (much like their ticket scanning system) works intermittently, if at all. I can count on a single hand the number of times this network has successfully connected to my phone. I swear...it seems to depend greatly on which theater you sit in. I have the toughest time with this task particularly when sitting in theater 6. So, you'd better pray to the cinema gods or...whomever....that the servers will actually see your table light prior to the movie ending. Because sometimes they do....and sometimes they don't. That's been MY experience, at least. Okay. Now, you're probably wondering....why still the 3 star rating? Well for one thing, the popcorn still rocks! For another, the service is actually not half bad....provided the aforementioned table light situation is promptly satisfied, that is. And the theaters themselves have adequate video and audio output. I only wish I could show the same enthusiasm for their seating. Most of these seats barely recline, if at all. In fact, anytime I have to incline a chair, I usually can't. Instead, I just end up swapping chairs entirely. Path of least resistance and all that. Look, I wish this place were better. I really do. But ya know what the really sad part about all this is? There isn't really any solid competition; not close by, anyway. I know because I've looked. Closest option is a place called Smitty's in Tilton. They have one in Windham, but that one's apparently closed for renovations. So out of sheer defeat due to lack of better options, I continue to tolerate this place. It's mid, considering places like Alamo Drafthouse and Flix Brewhouse exist. Unfortunately, neither of those options are available in the north. Meanwhile, Chunky's shall remain at 3 broken scanners overstaying their welcome out of 5.

This was our first trip to Chunky's - the price was very reasonable so I must keep this in mind and…read morewhy it got 3 stars otherwise it would have been 2. The seats were interesting, luxury car seats...I guess I was spoiled with the recliner ones at other theaters, but I do prefer a table in front of me rather than to the side (it is also nice to put your legs up). We arrived early to allow ourselves time to review the menu and order. We chose the Adam Sampler (loved the names). I figured if it's good we will know what to order next time. Sadly on the food side the only good part was the mozzarella sticks (AKA Wizard of Ozzarella Sticks). The chicken tenders were horribly fatty and uneatable, the fried pickles -- you couldn't even taste the pickle, and the pretzel sticks (were the only thing my son even bothered with) were just ok-ish. So lesson learned, stick with the traditional popcorn and eat before or after the movie. The movie itself was SO LOUD, it was hard to manage, I half thought it was just me so sadly didn't say anything. Only until we were washing up in the restroom did a bunch of people start talking about how loud it was. I really wish I said something sooner because they may have been able to fix it. The server was great, friendly and accommodating. The front end staff was also empathetic when I mentioned the volume issue on the way out. They definitely made me realize if I had come out of the theater sooner, they may have made an adjustment (however I am surprised no one working in and out of the theater noticed)
