We went for a discounted mystery movie and it was "Tuner". Very good movie BTW! We just got our typical popcorn and soda. Nothing special. The seats in the theater were great! Reclined all the way back and soo comfy! I can't really comment on the staff because I had to use the restroom while the boys were getting the snacks. This is my go-to movie theater in the Merrimack Valley. It is generally clean and has very comfortable seats. Food and pop corn are similar as from other movie theaters. Every time I've used their restrooms, they have been clean and organized. Staff members are welcoming and helpful. read more

I went with my daughter to see Wicked at this theatre recently. We attended the matinee showing in one of the smaller theatres. The entire place is very clean. The staff are courteous. We were easily admitted and found our seats quickly. My daughter went back out to the lobby to buy popcorn. However, there was none made! The show was going to start soon so she skipped the popcorn rather than miss the previews and beginning of the show. We thought it was strange there was no popcorn made. read more

I can certainly accept a few commercials when I watch free content, but when I'm paying good money for tickets I resent huge, high volume ads that I can't skip through or mute still running 15-20 minutes after the movie was supposed to start!! Not cool! Otherwise the place seems nice. Modern and reasonably clean. Some wear on the seat but it was comfortable. Didn't visit the concession stand so I can't comment on that. The one staff who directed us to our theater was pleasant and professional. Would've given more stars but was offended by the commercials we were captive for. read more

Cinemark officially opened at the north end of the parking lot at the Mall at Rockingham Park, just in time for opening weekend of the latest Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker movie. This cinema offers 12 screens including one XD 3D theater and stadium style auditorium seating in each theater. The seating is reserved for most popular films and you can choose your seats online or at the theater on the self serve kiosks or at the ticket counter. The concession stand at the time of this review offered the basics including popcorn, candy, snacks, nachos, self serve Coke Freestyle fountain drinks and Icees. In 2020, they will offer hot prepared foods such as burgers, personal pizzas, chicken tenders, and hot wings. I stopped in after work at the new Cinemark to see the new Star Wars movie. I made it here before 4pm and got the $15 Matinee price for the XD 3D screening of Star Wars and provided 3D glasses upon entering the theater. The seating in the extreme digital theater was very nice with a huge curved screen (from ceiling to floor) and stadium style soft plush reclining seating complete with individual tray & drink holder, foot rest and heated temperature control of the seat. I was very comfortable reclined back, so comfortable that I almost fell asleep and had to recline my seat more upright. The movie wearing my 3D glasses and loud sound effects from their surround sound system felt very realistic. After the movie, upon exiting, the staff collected the 3D glasses and directed patrons to the short exit hallway with restrooms conveniently located to the right near the exit doors. Overall, Cinemark is now a great option for seeing the latest 3D digital movies in Salem, probably competing with AMC in Methuen, O'Neil Cinemas in Epping and Cinemagic Imax in Hooksett. read more

I went to the movies with my pregnant sister and her family which includes my one year old nephew. During the movie I noticed that my nephew had a dirty diaper. We went to the restroom to change it and there were no changing tables at all like seriously. I don't understand do parents not bring their children to the movies anymore that companies like cinemark feel as if changing tables aren't necessary. My sister and I had to be creative and sit on the toilet while the other changed the diaper. Please do better moms have a lot of stress on them and this is something that can be fixed. read more

Nice screens, comfy recliners, tray tables, matinee tickets that are cheaper than most all of the local theaters ($7.50!), and even the snacks are a bit cheaper than most. Not too shabby. We have slept on tickets for movies often and even the seats 2 and 3 rows back from the screen were comfortable and not miserable as far as your neck being cranked back to see properly. Nice experience and not bad for a popcorn and reserved seats at a movie for five people coming out to around 60$. read more

I bought tickets for my family to see SpiderMan and was disturbed when two of my daughters came home early because instead of being able to watch the movie I paid for, they were terrorized by kids running around in the movie theater, screaming "run" like there was an active shooter situation. I have to ask, where was the security? Why were they allowing minors free rein of the theater premises after 9pm? This isn't just an annoyance, it's a safety hazard. We've enjoyed seeing movies at Cinemark--nice theater, comfy seats, but after this experience, our family is going to consider seeing movies elsewhere. read more

This place is amazing and I will never be going any where else. All though it can be a bit pricy, they have a great selection of food, drinks and candy. The seats are so comfortable with being able to recline and heat up. The screen is amazing and the speaker volumes are never too loud or quiet. Everyone that works there is so friendly and they always make sure it is clean. The bathrooms are always so clean as is the rest of the theatre. i look forward to going there again. read more
