It was good - the boba was chewy, though I'd prefer it to have a sweeter taste. The milk tea tasted pretty similar to Milklab's Brown Sugar Black Milk Tea, which is a good thing since I live for that drink. I stopped by 5 PM on a Saturday, and it wasn't very busy. The interior is well decorated and has indoor seating. Location-wise, it took me a second to realize that you had to drive around back to find a whole other line of shops, including MooMooCha.

I tried the Strawberry Matcha Latte, and it was pretty tasty-- not overly sweet but could've used a little more strawberry flavoring. While not the best strawberry matcha I've had in the area, this one adds a nice touch to your shopping excursion. I'd give it a solid 7/10. My daughter went for her usual favorite--Brown Sugar Boba--but unfortunately, they were out of regular tapioca pearls. She had to settle for Boba Magic in the brown sugar flavor, which didn't have the chewy, sticky texture that she has come to love about brown sugar boba. For her, that was a bit of a letdown but not enough for her not to visit again. The vibe is very no-frills--clean but minimal. Not much in the way of ambiance if you're looking to sit and sip, but it works for grab-and-go. There was no line, but a steady stream of folks picking up drinks. Our drinks came out quickly. All in all, it's a convenient, reliable spot with decent drinks, quick service, and a casual setup. I'd stop by again while shopping.

This bistro is located in the same shopping center as the Food Lion and Hwy 55. There aren't a lot of parking spots right in front of Boba Beans, but there's plenty right on the other side near Food Lion. This is a great place to grab and go or stay for a while. I've come a few times to work while waiting for my car inspection next door or when I just needed to get out of the house since I work from home. There are plenty of tables and chairs throughout and even some couches if you'd like something more comfortable. I don't like tea or coffee much, so I can't give a review on those, but they have a Citrus Refresher with boba that is absolutely delicious! I always get that when I go. They've recently changed their food menu a bit, so I'm not sure what is best, but I've also always enjoyed the food there as well. It's made fresh to order in-house. My favorite thing about Boba Beans is that they have staff of ALL abilities. I absolutely love seeing how the staff provides opportunities for people with a variety of disabilities. That's what made me fall in love with it! Not a lot of establishments will give people a chance, but it's great to see this happening here! Highly recommend it if you're in the area!
