We were there on Sunday, October 3rd around 3pm. We asked who the owners were because we were really impressed with the place and thought they might be the same owners as another location we had visited. There was absolutely no bad intention behind the question. The male bartender told us that no one name drops anymore. I understood what he was saying and was more than willing to move on. But then I asked him if the bar offered whiskey sours and he responded, "You really don't know what you're doing here and what you want." I was honestly so taken back by that comment. I don't normally stay quiet when someone speaks to me disrespectfully, but I was so caught off guard that I didn't even know what to say. Before that, he had also yelled out to the host that she didn't need to worry because we didn't know the owners and that she could relax. The whole interaction was completely unnecessary and made us feel very uncomfortable. We came in wanting to enjoy the atmosphere and have a good time. Instead, we left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. There is a way to speak to customers, even if you feel they are asking questions you don't like. We did nothing to deserve that kind of attitude. The Blind Rabbit may be a great place, but unfortunately, the way we were treated by this bartender completely ruined the experience for us. Customer service matters, and unfortunately, ours was extremely disappointing.

We walked in around 3-4pm on a Tuesday- place was empty... There wasn't a soul inside. There was a bar tender cleaning glasses and he looks up and says "you guys looking for a place to sit?" I instantly responded "No, we're looking for lunch is this place open?" He seemed so bothered by us which was the second red flag after his lil "looking to sit down" comment. He proceeded to sit us down at the farthest corner from the door. We ordered our drinks. And when the waiter brought my friends coke, it looked so flat it almost looked like ice tea from 10 feet away. It was so obvious that it had no carbonation. I made a joke about it and we laughed. There wasn't a single bubble of carbonation in the entire glass, it was so bad. We joked and laughed about it when the waiter came back my friend said to him " I think this is the flattest coke I've ever been served" in a joking manner (it literally looked like ice tea) the waiters reaction was sooooo rude, he rolled his eyes, said something to my friend in a snarky tone which I didn't really hear but the way he grabbed the drink and walked away was really unnecessary and overly aggressive He was so bothered by him serving us a flat Coke? I didnt understand why he took that snarky attitude but my friend works as a waiter so his solution was to throw money at the waiter in hopes that he would stop treating us like we were 2 homeless dudes in a soup kitchen. When he brought the drink (as an olive brand and so he wouldn't spit in our food )my friend handed him a 20$... every time he came to our table my friend would hand him 20$ in cash and apologize. He came at least 3-4 times to check on us but I was already no feeling his vibe. My friend tipped him significantly more than what our bill even was. I was upset by that but my friend said it's a server/waiter thing. So if someone treats you poorly you throw money at them? I don't get the logic But regardless... There's a reason why nobody was here at this business during lunch. Food was mid. Nothing special. Service was bad, confrontational and just over the top sassy for no reason. I don't recommend I wouldn't come here even if it was free!

I've been to O'Hara's many times before and have spent money here, so tonight's experience was especially frustrating. They lock the door shut over an hour earlier than posted, the bartenders and guard is overly eager to get home early once they made their tips, which screws Christine out of money. First, the posted hours need to be updated. The doors are being closed significantly earlier than the hours listed online, and there's no clear indication that last call or entry ends earlier. People make plans, drive over, pay for parking or transportation, and choose a bar based on the hours advertised. Showing up only to find the doors already closed wastes people's time and money money that could have been spent somewhere else. Tonight, the attitude from the bartenders was also extremely off-putting. I have no problem with checking IDs or following the rules, but the bartenders sometimes act more like correctional officers than people working at a bar. There's a difference between enforcing a policy and treating customers like they're being processed through security. Honestly, I can't imagine Christine would want her bar turning away customers who are ready to spend money on high quality products, especially when that's quick business that could easily go somewhere else. I've enjoyed coming to O'Hara's in the past, but management really needs to take a look at the posted hours, last-call policy, and overall customer service. Otherwise, people are simply going to take their business elsewhere like Paul's and the district which is two steps away. Also cleanlieness will go a long way. This place is dirty. Go to Paul's or the district. read more

Do NOT give them your business. So my friends and I went down there and one of my friends (who is of Mexican descent) was standing at the bar. While my friends and i were sitting at a booth behind him, a bouncer walked up to him and made him leave. We were confused but left anyways. Later, we walked back in to ask as to why our friend was removed from the bar, and the bouncer in a kilt told us that he wasn't coherent (not having his eyes fully open) and made him leave. I know my friend and can understand the circumstances for him being kicked out, but the reasons he gave were completely unwarranted. My friend was simply standing at the bar waiting for someone to help him. However, the man in a kilt decided that he didn't belong there. I would be the first to call out my friend if he was acting erratic in a bar but nothing he was doing was of cause for him being kicked out. This bar isn't necessarily racist, but the people that work for it certainly are. I will NEVER return to this excuse for a pub and I encourage others to do the same. I hope the staff will improve some day but I see no reason for me or anyone I know for returning. Based on my experience alone, I will tell everyone I know NOT to attend this pub. This review may not make a difference for the pub but i hope it does for their conscience. This is not a friendly place if you do not fit their criteria. Go to Paul's or the District or literally anywhere else if you want a drink. read more

Trashy bars in the Orange Circle... the bane of my existence. O'Hara's is one step up from Pauls, so if you've ever been there you know it's not saying much. Sometimes its difficult to locate places in the Circle because they are so tiny and hidden away. If ever you are lost heading to O'Hara's, close your eyes, and wait til the smell of vomit wafts in the air. Head that direction. If you cross paths with trashy skinheads/bikers/skanks/bro's, you are very close to your destination. I made the mistake of coming here once, and saw a gentleman wearing a wife beater with the words "White Power" tattooed across his collarbone. True class. It's nice to know that the tattoo industry doesn't discriminate against those folks with 1/8 of a brain. don't recall what the bathrooms were like, but judging by the number of people who vomit out in front of the establishment, I'm guessing not amazing. Sadly, this one will be crossed off the list of places to visit. "O's" is kind of like Cheers, where everyone knows your name. Well, they would if booze hadn't eroded their memory functions, AND if they weren't busy vomiting outside. read more

Decent bar (6/10) only disappointing thing was their drunk off his ass bouncer who spit in my girlfriends mouth when he was talking. I recently turned 21 and this dumbass just decided to question me that i want 21 until he realized i was 21 and felt like an idiot when he saw i was indeed of age to be in the bar. He was very rude. I handed this illiterate bouncer my id and because of how intoxicated he was, he questioned my age even though he should have been able to see the age on my id. I thinks cops should check out this bar because this guy doesn't know how to id a customer properly and relies solely on however old the customer says they are. My 10 year old cousin can id a person better than this obese dumbass. Hope the bar has new ownership soon. workers are always intoxicated and give alcohol to whoever asks for it. read more

Friday nights at O'Hara's is hopping! The bartenders are efficient and friendly, the drinks are DELICIOUS, and the music is awesome. You as a patron have the ability to control the music through an app, which I thought was incredibly clever. It has a sports dive feel that was fun and created a relaxed atmosphere.
