We both had the Chop and Chew platter and I went for the Sake Chicken sausage plus the bratwurst. The sake chicken sausage was much more flavourful than the bratwurst so I preferred that more. There was a generous helping of coleslaw but it was a bit bland for me. The mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy. It was an alright visit but nothing extraordinary. Maybe I just didn't order the right thing?

A group of us dropped in after a corporate event, because we had heard there was good poutine here. The 5 of us had a great time sharing appetizers and a tower of beer. The poutine was good. The ribs were even better. SO GREAT! The charcuterie plate was good The Mac and cheese was excellent The mushroom wings were okay. One of my colleagues had the burger, and inhaled it...so it must have been great. The beer from Black Kettle was delicious. Talking with the waiter and cook made the experience even better. Our waiter even went the extra mile to write down a list of other places that we might want to try while visiting Vancouver. In a city filled with wonderful people, the guys at Chop & Chew are at the top. Thanks guys for a great experience at your great restaurant!

This was my first time having a Korean corn dog and I enjoyed it. It was a little bit of a wait since they prepare each corn dog fresh after ordering. Potato mozz stick with beef & chicken hot dog: it was bigger than I expected and the batter was so thick and crunchy! I liked ripping the potatoes off the corn dog and dipping it in sauce. I also liked the mozzarella cheese, but couldn't get a good cheese pull. They have so many sauce options at no extra charge. I added spicy mayo, sweet chili and ketchup. Potato tornado: would not recommend. For $5.99 it's very small and not like the ones you see at the night market.

Our order: - The Beast ($17) - Crack on Sandwich ($15) We were surprised at how both sandwiches were both incredibly good, and also completely different. The Beast has egg, a beef patty, pickled onions and sauces, the Crack on Sandwich has egg, the choice of sausage or bacon and candied jalapeños. If I had to pick, the Crack on Sandwich was my favorite because it had delicious thick cut bacon that sweet jalapeños, but both were fantastic. We were so full after these massive breakfast sandwiches that we just had a late dinner. Staff was super nice, it took about 8 minutes for them to make the sandwiches for us.

I stumbled upon the truck on my way to lunch and figured this must be fate. I ordered the Kickin' Chicken and was pleasantly surprised at the size. Waiting for the post spicy sammie tummy troubles however, this is completely my fault! :/ Service was great and I didn't have to wait long for my sandwich, both a plus. I will give them another shot and get their staple Crack On next time.

The lighting isn't the best, as the staff mostly rely on the large entrance window for natural light. Service Quality The staff was kind and friendly. They are more than happy to help you choose a sandwich if it's your first time. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Menu Variety Their sandwich selection is excellent, and the bread is particularly noteworthy. They also offer a couple of iced tea options, which is a nice alternative to water. Food Presentation If you're dining in, your sandwich will be served in a plastic basket lined with wax paper. For takeout, it's wrapped in the same wax paper. Food Taste and Quality I ordered the Spicy Italian, which had just the right amount of heat. It was generously loaded with greens, and the multigrain bread was fresh, likely baked that morning. Portion Sizes The portions are substantial. I was only able to finish half of my sandwich for lunch. Price and Value The sandwich cost about $15, which is on the pricier side. It would have been nice to see it priced around $12. Overall Experience and Recommendation If you're in the area or heading to Horseshoe Bay to catch a ferry, definitely stop by S'wich for a sandwich. I will definitely be returning to try other options on the menu.
