Anyways I asked the organic produce farmer if he would recommend a place to get healthy food because I didn't want to start my morning with something sweet. He pointed at this lady who owns San Juan and said we all go to her because she serves the most delicious food in the market and super wholesome. I was excited to learn that and walked towards her food truck and even happier to learn that she uses organic meat which I wasn't too surprised given that she also was buying organic produce earlier. I ordered the chicken platter lots of meat, very tender and it was a coconut sauce over rice and some vegetables. It was delightful. I was too hungry and forgot to take a photo but it was also very well presented and the portion was very generous. Look forward to ordering some more of her food the next time I see her at the farmer's market.

The Jamaican style rice was soggy. The boneless, skinless chicken was so dry but it was drenched in sauce and was so salty. It ate a few bites and threw it away. That was a waste of $15.68.

We decided to check it out... staff at the counter were very friendly. We decided on the Beef Patty... it was piping hot! The pastry is definitely homemade, slightly doughy & crunchy, the beef filling has a kick to it. I went back to let them know how much we enjoyed the patty. They told me the patty is made with their recipe, I can called his uncle & order them frozen & pick it up from their store... $5 a patty. Can't get any better than that. They told us they have another location in Guildford that serves oxtail stew ( that's my favourite). Will definitely check out the Surrey location too. I checked their goggle reviews 4.5/5

If I had to pick, the Crack on Sandwich was my favorite because it had delicious thick cut bacon that sweet jalapeños, but both were fantastic. we are so lucky to have an arancini food cart in vancouver! they are the perfect size street food…read more brought to you from the streets of sicily. I once tried some suppli on the streets of rome, and arancini are like a sicilian cousin. I discovered mr. arancino on my street food app one day. I read his engaging background story on his stylish new website http://mrarancino.com. intrigued by his arancini, I walked downtown to find his cart. it just happened to be the wettest, windiest and coldest day this winter and I was the only person walking around outside, freezing. but I found his cart by the stadium skytrain station and was warmly greeted by the nicest person that I've ever met. I'm sure he was shivering inside that cart, but he never once showed it. he had the most genuine smile and looked happy to see me. mr. arancino introduced me to all the different flavours and even gave me free samples of the freshly squeezed juices to try. huddled in the station, I tried the salmon, beef ragu and bacon pesto flavours. the arancini were beautifully presented, nestled on a bed of spinach leaves and served with a marinara dipping sauce. both were perfect complements for the risotto balls, which were crispy outside, warm and delicious inside. I liked them all, but the bacon pesto flavour was my favourite. I'm a total flavour addict and would welcome even more meat and even more flavour! I'm also trying to cut carbs, so will try the quinoa versions next time. mr. arancino is an authentic and delicious addition to the food cart scene and a small local business worth supporting. I highly recommend that you give his arancini a try!

The next stop on the tour was Granville Market for lunch, but as we were all taking pictures of the area, I could not get over how amazing these hot dogs smelled. We were about to move on, but I was overcome with the desire to get one of these bad boys and couldn't resist. I walked up and asked how long it would take to cook one for me, and he said it would be in my hand as soon as I handed him the money. And he took USD, so that made it really easy. The hot dog was quite large, and the bike tour leader was laughing at me for ordering it as soon as we were all about to leave, but I ate it as fast as Joey Chestnut. And it was everything I hoped it would be. The only regret is that I added some of the Garlic sauce to it, and wished I would have been a little lighter with it, because it was pretty overwhelming.
