Lester surveyed Monday afternoon, and scheduled removal of 11 trees (8 of which were more than 100 feet tall) for the next day. Lester was a pleasure to work with. He's very seasoned, explain the process, and provided a quote on the spot. I booked the service for the very next day. The crew of ~six arrived on time, with multiple vehicles and equipment, and the job took about 8 hours. When they left, you couldn't tell (except for the missing trees), that anything had been done. I think my yard and street were cleaner than when they arrived. When moving debris in my side yard, they also cleared trees that had previously fallen. As promised, they came back the next day and ground the stumps in my front yard. They have the expertise, the personnel and the equipment to do any job. For 2 years now L&L has been helping me turn my property into a welcome mat for Mother Nature. They have rebalanced my trees to make them weather resistant, advised on how to get rid of invasive non-native plants like stiltgrass and dog fennel, planted dogwood and redbud, and are completing the first year of installing a native prairie in place of the lawn. Big plus, I don't need to pay a gardner or be one of those schlubs out there mowing my grass in the heat every week. When you go native, nature maintains itself with only tweaks from you. I'm not a plant or nature geek and being from out of state I don't know much about NC plants but the L&L folks explain to me at every visit how doing this or that supports these and those. We have previously worked with Leaf & Limb which should have past documentation about how we are conservative in cutting our dogwood. But now, our dogwood has been irreparably changed in shape. You cannot glue cut tree limbs. I cannot express how heartbroken I am that our beloved tree has been trimmed in a way that did not at all reflect our desires. I would not recommend working with Leaf & Limb.
