Lester surveyed Monday afternoon, and scheduled removal of 11 trees (8 of which were more than 100 feet tall) for the next day. Lester was a pleasure to work with. He's very seasoned, explain the process, and provided a quote on the spot. I booked the service for the very next day. The crew of ~six arrived on time, with multiple vehicles and equipment, and the job took about 8 hours. When they left, you couldn't tell (except for the missing trees), that anything had been done. I think my yard and street were cleaner than when they arrived. When moving debris in my side yard, they also cleared trees that had previously fallen. As promised, they came back the next day and ground the stumps in my front yard. They have the expertise, the personnel and the equipment to do any job. Alan and Mike were very pleasant, answered my frequent questions, and it was a pleasure watching the process and meeting them. Their pricing was very reasonable. The people on site to do the job argued with my wife about what was to be done and left without finishing the job. We made a polite call to the office to let them know what had happened and were told that they were very busy and it was hectic at the office, but they would get back to me when they could. I got an email saying that they had lived up to their side of the contract, and regardless of what we had asked for, it was not represented in the contract and if we wanted the job completed it would cost more money. I paid my bill but will not use this company again. They care more about catching you up in the small print and tricking you than running a customer service driven business.

We have previously worked with Leaf & Limb which should have past documentation about how we are conservative in cutting our dogwood. But now, our dogwood has been irreparably changed in shape. You cannot glue cut tree limbs. I cannot express how heartbroken I am that our beloved tree has been trimmed in a way that did not at all reflect our desires. They sold me their proprietary soil enrichment to be delivered quarterly, after assurances that the tree had a 70-80% chance of being saved. After the first treatment I noticed downed limbs, more issues and damage to my lawn. I contacted the arborist helping me, but he never responded. Then, they came out to do the second treatment unscheduled. I contacted them again to request further assistance because of the issues I was having but they continuous failed to respond. Then a storm came through the area and several branches came down, damaging mine and my neighbor's houses. I contacted their agent and he told me the tree was dead and that he was canceling the rest of the contract--no apology or accountability at all. He didn't even speak with me directly or return my follow up calls. I was forced to have the tree removed on an emergency basis and resod my lawn, costing me thousands of dollars. I spoke with at least six other tree companies to get quotes for the tree removal (leaf and limb of course failing to help) and they all told me the tree was long dead and it was fortunate that it hadn't fallen completely on my home or hurt someone. In their opinion it was negligent and potentially fraudulent to sell me on a chance it could be saved. Leaf and limb then sent me a bill for the two prior services and about a third. I told them that I wouldn't pay for the services that had put me in this position and reminded them they had canceled the contract without speaking with me. All of a sudden they were responsive, and they sued me for ~$200 for the two services. I offered to pay half as a goodwill gesture but they refused. In court, they leaned on the fine print disclaimer that they can't guarantee outcomes. I suppose even though those terms aren't negotiable that it was shame on me, and I should have known better. so now I'm leaving this long detailed review so others can learn from my mistake--they can do a terrible job that a majority of other companies think is negligent and will cost you tons, but then hide behind that disclaimer!! Buyer beware--in my opinion these guys are totally shady.
