He answered all of my questions, and I had A LOT of questions. He was never phased and was always genuinely helpful and willing to educate me so that I knew I made the right decision. He showed me tons of pictures and even did comparisons with other quotes we got. In the end we went with Globus not just because their gate was superior in quality with their double-sided hinges, HD frame, and clean mitered edges, or because they had the best price (which didn't hurt), but because we genuinely liked working with Chris. We are already discussing our next project with him. Literally just had another professional come by for a different project and he liked their work and the quality of their gates so much, he's contacting them. He himself installs fences and gates. That speaks volumes and made us feel even more confident in the work we got done. Also, Sergei is a beast. He got the gate installed all by himself in one day. They forgot to put one set of holes for the bolts and it was absolutely no problem for them to come by the same week and get it done. I've recommended them to everyone. Even people I don't know at Costco who liked the faux wood metal finish. I know it's dumb but this gate makes me ridiculously happy and knowing the Santa Ana winds won't blow them away gives me immense peace of mind.

The gate on the other side was functional, but in serious need of a cosmetic upgrade that complemented our new garage door and gate columns. Many of the contractors we reached out to were unwilling to accommodate our design requirements. We really wanted wood-looking vinyl gates with an arched top to complement the rest of the house. Pro-Vinyl Fencing was the only contractor in the Thousand Oaks area willing to bring our vision to life. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable and actually beat out several other estimates we received. David was our primary point of contact throughout the design process. He was extremely patient and went out of his way to accommodate all of our specific choices. The main reason we are taking off a star comes down to installation day. The installer (who was separate from David) installed the drop rod on the wrong side of the gate, requiring a second visit to correct it. We also suspect the installer contributed to a few scratches on the gates during the job. Beyond those hiccups on the installation side, we were thrilled with David's customer service, the affordability, and Pro-Vinyl's willingness to execute the exact material and arched design we wanted.
