STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS POSSIBLE!!! I purchased a 2023 vehicle from this dealership for $17,500. The car seemed fine, and I thought I was getting a decent deal. That turned out to be a huge mistake. Less than a month later, the vehicle broke down and was leaking oil everywhere. I had it towed back to their service department, where I was told the high-pressure fuel pump had failed and that my warranty would cover the repair. A week later, the story changed. Now they claimed a bolt holding the fuel pump in place was broken and that they would need to lower the engine to remove it. Conveniently, that repair was not covered under warranty. When I questioned whether the bolt could have been broken during their own repair attempt, I was basically told to "take their word for it" that they didn't do it. They had no proof whatsoever. In the end, I was forced to pay another $3,300 out of pocket for what they called a "discounted" labor charge. After another week, they called and said the vehicle was ready. I picked it up and drove away. Less than five miles later, the check engine light came on. I immediately brought it back. Now, suddenly, I'm being told I need a catalytic converter and another $1,800 repair that also isn't covered. Funny how there were no catalytic converter codes, no check engine lights, and no issues before they had possession of the vehicle for weeks. But somehow, after thousands of dollars in repairs and less than five miles of driving, a completely different major repair is now needed. What makes it even worse is that throughout this entire process, I was repeatedly reminded that if I had purchased the extended warranty they were trying to sell me, I wouldn't have had to pay these costs. It felt less like customer service and more like a sales pitch after the fact. This dealership is great at selling cars. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ends. The service department has been the most frustrating, expensive, and disappointing experience I've ever had with a vehicle purchase. Thousands of dollars later, I still don't have confidence in the car, and all I seem to get in return is another repair bill and an apology for the inconvenience. read more

It's been a month and I was promised a replacement mirror for this used 23 model y Tesla I purchased. I've been more than patient as this part and the missing charger have been available to purchase at anytime, locally. I was told they have a system in place that they do their ordering and such, ok, but now I'm just annoyed. I think it's ridiculous and Nyle Maxwell has lost me and my wife as a future buyer over about $400 in parts. Pretty silly considering the amount of $ that we spent with them since March and the money they made with trades etc. My sales guy is cool and if he was elsewhere, I'd take my business to him. Please be careful buying anything used from here. If they promise to fix something or replace something, tell them to do it before you buy it or you'll get the run around like I have been a month later. Tried to be practical and bought a slightly used 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 6k miles instead of a brand new one, but it completely back fired. The car looked clean and in great shape, but had a strong smell to it, like it was just cleaned. I assumed they just detailed it to sell it and didn't think too much about it However 2 days later I noticed these very hard to see vent air fresheners sticks (see pic). I've never seen anything like them before and If you're not looking for them they're almost impossible to see. That said, I took all 5 of them out of the vents and once I did that there was a very strong cigarette odor in the car (which couldn't be worst for me personally since I'm allergic cigarette smoke). I then called and talked to my sales rep and said hey, I found these really hard to see air freshener sticks in the vents and first thing he says is " we didn't put them there" . I asked to talk to the manager and the first thing he said was "we didn't put them in there". I don't know if they did or didn't put them in there but someone should of known. Now I'm stuck with a 40k+suv that every time I turn it on it makes me angry. Honestly I can see this happening at one of those small no credit ask used car dealers, but never would of expected this to happen from a reputable big car dealer like Nyle Maxwell. read more

If I could rate this spot any lower I would. Purchased a 2017 Durango from them and literally wasn't able to drive it due to them needing to "fix" things on the vehicle. From the time of purchase, July, up until late October I was able to drive my car for a week or two MAX! This place screwed me big time. When filling out paper work they didn't inform me on the interest rate which was done intentionally for me to go through with the deal. They called me a day or two later saying they forgot to give me a paper to sign. So I came up there asking how did I forget to sign anything? Before leaving they told me I signed everything . Don't get a car from here. The sales department are just like any other dishonest car salesmen. They misformed me and did not disclose information with me properly. BIGGEST PURCHASING DISASTER IN MY LIFE. BY FAR. Once you're off the lot with the keys, they are through no matter what. 4/16/22 I arrived at the lot and met Ben. A fantastic young man who not only was a pleasure to work with, but I have come to learn is the only one I have met during this entire transaction with any integrity or a backbone, maybe that's why others kept pushing him away and interrupting during the transaction. Down payment, price and approval was agreed upon and completed. Would not allow a test drive (This will be my 2nd Hellcat, so I am looking for a few things in particular. I was very clear and provided many photos of myself with my older Hellcat to give them the reassurance I was not a "Joy Rider"). After pulling teeth, and waiting almost an hour to have the car moved off the front display area, they agree and proceed to come out with the black valet key not the red key that fully utilizes the car. After more back and forth and me being extremely uncomfortable about their hesitancy, they went I got the correct key. Started that car and noticed the General Manager making a stern walk out of the building headed straight for me in the car. I rolled the window down and he introduced himself in a tone that would only be intended to intimate. General Manager, Mike Wilson then proceeded to shake his finger in my face while repeatedly saying "DON'T BE STUPID! DON'T BE STUPID!" and then turned around and walked away. Test drive completed in about 10 minutes, real quick exit to exit on the freeway. We returned to the showroom and I signed the remaining documents, added the insurance and left. During this first month the car has not been in my possession for a total of about a week due to MANY issues and not being able to drive it until some things were fixed due to damage potential. I understand that buying a used car, and a hellcat for that matter, it isnt going to be perfect, but this has been catastrophic. - Open recalls and catalytic converters. - Water-damaged red key yielding intermittent errors and sometimes failing to allow the car to start. - Plugged AC and drain leading to the blower fan in the cab filling with water and then puking it onto the passenger side floor, garden hose volume at times. Now I have a damaged blower motor and mold beginning to form under the carpet. - Rear diff requiring service due to noise. - Driver AC vent does not work at all. - 2 different non-OEM wipers which were both the incorrect size. The driver side wiper flew off 2 minutes after the first time I turned them on, in a downpour and I lost almost 100% visibility in highway traffic. - Told several times during the transaction that I would be the 2nd owner, that turned out to be a lie. This was verified by multiple different sources. - The list goes on. After many of these issues started to arise, I attempted to contact anyone at the dealership who could assist. During this process I was promised call backs over 15 times, to which I NEVER got called back, and I was hung up on by the preowned sales manager Noel, TWICE. After more attempts and 2 weeks I made it to the GM with another call in, Mike Wilson. We spoke on the phone in the very professional manner that I have carried throughout this entire ordeal. He promised to call back after checking with other people on the sales and service teams. He told me he would call back within 48 hours. I never got a call. I went to the dealership to get my plates, and maybe have a chance to see Mike. He was absent, so I discussed the issues with Mike Hiler, Finance Director. He was going to see Mike Wilson that day and discuss this, then follow up. Never did. Now I have a $65.5k OTD Hellcat with so many issues its undrivable some days and a dealership who insisted the car had every inch of it inspected and was so clean and that it qualified for the Chrysler Maximum Care warranty, which I went ahead and paid $4k additional. I'm highly disappointed I got this suv 06/04/24 and on 06/07/24 it was broken into. So now it's been sitting at my complex since the 7th made police report called insurance still waiting on that. Payment due 07/19/24 and I haven't been able to enjoy it. My personal opinion of the Director Joey at NMPREOWNER CENTER is when I called he basically didn't care. I was told if I am unhappy to call a talk to management I did that and his response was unfortunately there's nothing he can do call my insurance. Actually there's something he can do take it back because I wasn't warned that it was a possibility it could get broken into by the "KiaBoyz" I was aware of Kia's being damaged but Hyundai vehicles had I known I wouldn't have got it. There's multiple vehicles on their lot they could easily put me in a SUV that the kiaboyz wont break into yet they won't. So I'm stuck with a suv that I have not driven since 06/07/24 this unfair to me. I have to now pay $500 deductible out of my pocket because Nyle Maxwell wasn't honest and definitely hasn't lived up to the Mission Statement nor my expectations of them. The salesman he was awesome the tall guy was awesome with securing me finance and or low payments but why not assist me with a different suv and or loaner car. Something cause Ive lost revenue within my business can't deliver desserts without transportation. So I AM EXTREMELY UNHAPPY considering I received multiple referrals from people. Unhappy situation I'm in! No one at the dealership cares at all. Is it because I don't have excellent credit or because I'm a female and they put me in something that's costing me more money. It's not a guarantee the suv won't get broken into again once it's repaired per APD stated that's a possibility. Buying a car is always a stressful experience but this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Ben was our salesman and occasionally he'd had Eric do his middleman work and mike was our finance guy and as soon as the papers were signed he was unresponsive. We'd had been looking for a car for some time and finally found the one we wanted. The day signing was great! There were a couple of minor issues with the car they of course promised to fix quickly "front of the line" So we could have our car by July 19. This would be 10 days later. Well july 19 comes we hear nothing. This goes on for several days. We finally get Ahold of someone to be told the small issue was bigger then expected and they are still working to fix it. 3 weeks later we finally get a call to pick up the vehicle which was filthy when we got there. 100% not pick up ready to then drive it a week to realize the issue was NEVER fixed and the transmission was going out. Ben and Eric were both uncaring and unconcerned. Gave us a tiny Malibu rental Car for a family of 6 in the process of determining the transmission was out on the Tahoe. Neither them or the sales manager offered much at all to fix this situation besides offering to trade us an even worse vehicle with hire miles at the same price or the car as is. Not even the option to use our warranty that we added into the sale! We settled on voiding the sale completely and removing us from the system. Sale is still not voided 4 days later. They still have the vehicle with my belongings. My boyfriend has been a Nyle Maxwell client for over 10 years now and I promise we will not be back. 10/10 do not recommend. read more

Reached out to the dealership via CarGurus requesting information on a vehicle listed on their website. Received a text from Fausto, confirming the vehicle was still available. Scheduled a test drive for 11:45, of which Fausto confirmed. Show up to my appointment to test drive said vehicle, come to find out it's not even on the lot. I promptly left and received a text from Fausto stating, "I went back to my manager and she's trying to get it back here shortly but it's just not physically here right now. Would that work for you?" Obviously I said no, I'm not going to wait around for someone to bring it back. An appointment is an appointment, the vehicle should have been there at the time of the appointment. Employees are dishonest and seemingly lack any character or work ethic, since it would take literally 30 seconds to walk outside and double check the vehicle was there. Share my bad experience with Nyle Maxwell car center ....several days ago after ice storm here, whole communities power was off for over 4 - 5 days even No traffic lights. I stayed in a friend's house two days then back home. Next day still no power outage and terrible thing was my cellphone had no data , so I went to nearby Nyle Maxwell car center to get WiFi for one or two hours then I was back home to check if power back and had lunch outside. Since I had a very important transaction I need WiFi on my computer I was back to this car center again. I was sitting on Hall quietly with my computer, one guy with glass came to me ask me to leave because I was not thire customer. I politely explained my bad situation no power and WiFi at home and told him I would be here about 15 minutes to finish my transaction then I would be leave . He was very rude and angry said threateningly that he would call police to kick me out if I didn't leave. I was very unhappy for this guy's attitude ! I am not in thire hall everyday only the day our community no power outages. His name is Michael J Hiler, director of Maxwell Pre-Owned. This car center is not friendly to our community and no kind heart and compassion to our community people who is in difficult time. They are only want money ! Even I was not thire customer but I still deserve a respect. Definitely I will give them very bad reviews. Very shame for this car center ! WORST Used Car Buying experience Ever! Was sold a vehicle and a warranty for the vehicle. Well, the car they sold me, the warranty was already voided for the engine bc there was stop leak in the engine. Chris Nation tried to blame me saying I put stop leak in the car. Well, let me tell you, I had a warranty on the car why would I do that? I would just take it in and get it fixed. so then they take my car to "look at it" and basically replace some hoses and radiator cap so you can't tell stop leak was in it. Chris says " of course at no cost to you". Go to pick up my car, and they charge me a few hundred dollars, saying Chris says he never said that. Well, because they sold such a crappy car, I've had lots of things go out in it. my warranty said nothing about a cost limit. the page of the contract they had me sign has no cost limit. But warranty company says that the limit is how much I bought the vehicle for , which was never told to me or on the scopy of the sheet of the contract that I signed. Nyle Maxwell is slimy. Liars. WORST people ever! WILL NEVER GO TO ANY NYLE MAXWELL TO BUY A CAR! I have kept a few people from going there after letting them know my experience, and will continue to spread the word at how shady this place is. read more
