They responded to my service request really quick, and I was able to schedule an appointment for service just a couple days later. They gave me the best quote out of 6 other shops! The work was done in a reasonable amount of time, They have a really nice waiting room, warm, cozy, music, drinks. I had to drive 40 mins away from home to get my service here, but I'm so glad I did. I won't be going to any other mechanic in CNY from now on, the drive is worth it. It's in a nice location, easy to access. Tons of gas stations near by too. I believe they are family owned, and they even sell cars which I thought was cool. If I had to buy a car in the next few months, this would be my first stop. They are proud and stand by their work. The urgency was all on me as my loaner was due back and I needed a vehicle. I decided on a 2022 Jeep Compass due to the extra leg room in the front for my husband. Something most of the vehicles do not have. I was not looking for a Jeep, however. Now that I have had it a month or so, I have to say that I do not like the Jeep Compass. I do not like how the "bells and whistles" are laid out and work. I don't like the little, hard to find clock. It does not drive well through the deep snow like my previous Nissan Rogue did before I totaled it, hitting a deer. I do not like how the extended warranty got added in to my total. When I first caught sight of it on the invoice, I questioned it and was told, "Oh, there's no charge to you". But when all was said and done and I had time to read and go through every page, I found that I was indeed charged like $2,800 for the extended warranty. The vehicle slides easily in the snow and on wet roads, which is likely due to the tires. The engine often sounds like it has been abused or driven hard.

I thought I was at NYE but the service department was at the smaller dealership bought out by NYE…read more. I had to tow my truck for a problem in the transmission . My backend axle locked up and would not shift.. There was no burning smells or lights or warnings. My truck was just over the warranty 110k and never had any problems with it. There were reports of a shifting modules that can malfunction and cause a lock up of the transmission and are a $200 part etc. so I asked if it was a recall, or a digital software mode shifter etc electronic. . They said since no check engine light was on, it could only be the actual transmission failure and nothing electronical . They said they would have to "drop the transmission to replace any modes or parts anyhow "and it was a charge to drop to diagnosis the problem" . It was a total transmission bill of $7k with a rebuilt replacement from GM. I later learned that there are actual recalls for the chevy silverado for clutch pack probems, other software issues etc. and other issues that can effect transmissions on other models and currently covering the same transmission. There was a software recall and other recalls that should have been discussed if they did a through diagonosis . I would not recommed this dealership based on the unprofessional service I received , and the treatment of the customer by the service manager.
