One of my friends said this is one of the best halal places in the triangle and I definitely agree! I got the chicken and rice and can confidently say it was very well seasoned. From the chicken to the rice to the fries. The only downside to this place is they do not give you a lot of sauce so if you like it saucy may need to ask for more. Inside has plenty of seating and the line moves pretty quickly. There is limited parking behind the building but if that's full may have to find street parking. People inside were helpful as well. Overall I like this place and definitely will be back. I think it's more of a take out or late night spot in general.

The food itself and portion sizes here make the visit worth it everytime. We tried the mixed platter, seafood platter, chopped cheese, chicken fajita, and lemonades. Super flavorful and loaded down! The fajita was prob my fav with that crunchy exterior. I like that they stay open later than most places but parking is pretty limited.

Such a great new place!!! The prices are super reasonable and they really load the plates up with lots of meat, rice, and other things. Everything was delicious and I would definitely recommend trying the mixed plates!

Food was incredible! Service was quick. Tables were a little dirty but otherwise the place was good and had a decent amount of seating.

I think overall service was quick and awesome to have a halal food place in the area! The food combinations were so cool and the fact you could customize was great. I think even getting more spice in mine could have elevated it but overall it was a fun and delicious concept.

From the online appearance I was excited to try and was highly disappointed. The service is great but the food is disappointing.

The space is a little tight but they do have outdoor seating which worked perfectly for our group. I also loved that they served cocktails in to go cups. The food was outstanding - a melty, crispy edged smash burger with a side of cheese tots, yum! We also got the chicken tenders and fries for our daughter and the bites I tried were delicious. This will definitely be a spot we visit when we want something quick and scrumptious if we are in the area!

I had the double classic burger. I wasn't really impressed. It lacked the flavor and seasoning I thought I'd get based on how good the burger looked. I needed to add ketchup and mustard to the burger to get a decent taste from it. The fries were great. I got the spicy seasoning that they offer. Now that I think of it, they should have cooked my patties in the seasoning they put on the fries and it would have been a lot more tasty. There was a good amount of people at the restaurant, so they may have had a difference flavor experience than I did.

Even at 1:30 am, they're friendly, quick and the food delicious! This place sets the mood in the same way Waffle House or any gas station bathroom does - classically janky....though I'll say it has had a facelift since we were last here. We went to another cookout when we touched down and left because it looked too nice and didn't have a wrong sided drive thru! As such, we came back down Nostalgias highway to our OG cookout on Hillsbrough! It was exactly what we wanted! The stand alone, dual drive thru (with walk up) set up of this place is nothing short of amazing. If you had to design a place, it might accidentally turn out like this and you'd just accept it, not realizing the brilliance that is passing food through a passenger window! Seriously, of through the drive thru on the left. The food is such a perfect example of southern burgers - it's like in-n-out that you want to come back to! Cheddar style, steak style, west style - don't matter, it's all boss level! You'd like a burger with sides of corn dog and walking taco? Got it - one of 55 shake options? Done - more hush puppies? On it! The loudspeakers have been improved upon - you used to just pretend you understood what was being said and accept what you received. Now, they repeat it back at least. Our kids scarfed it down so fast we literally went through and ordered a second time, 6 minutes later. Three burgers, nuggets, rings and the equivalent of three pints of ice cream can't be wrong! Aside from my children, I may not love a human child more than this burger joint. It's so good, any time, any days, double stamp it, touch blue make it true, no eraseys! Thanks for living up to the hype 15 years later!

Thank God I asked for mayo so I could put it on the dry chicken. The fries were fresh and hot. They were delicious but the rest of the meal was trash. It took a few months, but I finally stopped by on my way home from the Raleigh airport and was reunited with the chain. It was late, so we just ordered at the window and ate in the car. There was only one person ahead of us in the drive-thru, so it took maybe about 3 minutes for us to get our food once we ordered. I would consider Del Taco to be a healthier Taco Bell. I mean, not the best I have had, but I would come back for more tacos.  Staff was helpful and friendly. There is plenty of free parking. Again, I would come back for more tacos, and only tacos.

I was hoping I would not be disappointed. Downtown Durham on Parrish Street I do believe. I went there midday and there was a sparse lunch crowd already seated when I arrived. The warmly lit space presents nice aesthetic as you walk into the restaurant. A very chill and comfortable atmosphere. I love the bar and the mirrored wall nestled behind it. The spot is pretty laidback and very clean, but has a bit of a rustic nuance to it as well. I like that. The serving staff were extremely nice and helpful towards advising me in making my selection -- with me being a first-timer and all. I kept it simple...I chose the Classic Burger (pink) with pepper jack cheese, bacon marmalade, and as a side, I had to go with the Dirty Fries -- 'cause that's how I roll y'all. About the food: I have to say, the burger was staunchly built and crafted with artistry. Nice and tall with a seriously tasty bun encapsulating everything. Perfectly well-seasoned meat and the first bite was simply delightful. I noticed as I got towards the center of the meat, it was bit less juicy than the surrounding parts of the burger, but nevertheless still tasty. My Dirty Fries were delicious In the end; the experience as a whole was quite delightful and I would definitely like to go there again -- perhaps try a different burger to expand upon my experience with this place. Gotta try out That Bar y'all! I do recommend it for those who haven't had a chance to go by there to check it out.
